I really like Professor Friedman, she is kind, energetic, very approachable, and caring. She makes the class interesting, and she is very knowledgeable. Tests can be a little tricky but overall the class is pretty easy if you show up and participate.

Dr Friedman is freaking awesome!! I took her for marketing and let me tell you she opened my eye! I never anticipated that i would have learned the things Ive learned with her through, fun case studies, and easy to complete group assignments. The relaxed environment and open forum really gets the juices flowing and def would take her again.

Professor Friedman's SLS class is very easy there's no way to not get an A. There isn't too many assignments and the ones you do get are very easy to do and her test are easy.

New venture management was easy. the hardest assignment was the minute long elevator pitch presented to the class.

This was her first time teaching this class and she did a great job. Instead of purchasing the textbook you are able to purchase Go Venture, which is an online simulated game where you learn to start a small business. It's actually pretty cool and highly recommended! She's very helpful and if you can't get an A in this class your really slacking.

She is a really great professor, as long as your straight forward with her when things are going on in your life she understands. I have learned a lot in the class pertaining to how to start/launch your business. Participation is good she loves your input. overall she is really good we did not have to use the book it was mostly PP and Go Venture.

Professor Friedman is a fun and insightful professor. She uses very real examples and even brought in a Chick-Fil-A franchise owner to speak to the class. She gives you the grade that you work for and her tests and projects are very straightforward. I would definitely take her again!

She treats us like Business pros & exposes us to all the different Marketing jobs we could have. She expects us to read the book on our own and is funny and super chill. I loved this course! Dr. Friedman is very interactive with her students, not your typical sit and listen to someone talk, the course was very engaging! I loved being able to speak on topics openly. you must read the chapters to be prepared for these discussions as she encourages class participation. She does not give a lot of homework either!

Prof. Freidman offers very interesting and brilliant presentations for the class. Each Presentation helps you understand the subject of the course, though it is important to read the book before class to understand the subject and the powerpoint presentation can further help you in learning the chapters of the book and pass the exams.

Ms. Friedman's Marketing Class was enjoyable to be a part of. We moved through the material at a good pace, often ending class early, and had very little in the way of homework aside from daily readings. Most of the grade in the class comes from Exams and Projects.

I took this class with this teacher over the summer and it was an 8 week course so it was super quick. She is a great teacher, and is extremely nice. She just wants everyone to understand the material and enjoy the class. She makes class fun and does not lecture you to death. I would definitely take her again.

I took this professor for GEB1011, MKA2021, and MAR2011. You must read the chapters prior to class, it will only help you during the lecture and on exams. There isnt much work that she collects for grades. However, there are plenty of opportunities for extra credit. She usually has at least one guest speaker for each course.

Shes awesome, its very easy to keep up with the professor. If you miss a class and email, Dr Friedman gets back within the hour, or the same day. READ THE CHAPTERS, you wont be quizzed or tested every other week. Just a midterm and a final.

Dr. Friedman is great. This class was interesting and different. We did an online simulation on how to run a business, it was basically a video game. No midterm, some homework (case studies), elevator pitches, and a very cool entrepreneurial showcase where we set up a booth and pitched a business. Fun class!

Overall, the class is informative and in class she talks a lot about what is going on currently in the business world. She let us use a page of notes for midterm and finals which was helpful because we did not talk a lot about vocabulary and book material in class.

Great professor, Just a little hard to determine what will be on the test. If you want to learn take this class, Professor teaches concepts and ideas well. But the test focuses more on definitions and meanings, so make sure to read.

Overall class was very informative. Professor provides a lot extra credit. Study guide is great it gets you prepared well for your exam. When participating in the class It prepares you for the overall objective which is the final group project. The course was able to present personal selling in an interesting way that not only made it seem accessible to all people but made it simple to use in all parts of life. The work is manageable and the use of in-class selling and guest speakers makes the class more real-world friendly.

Overall I enjoyed her class. The only thing I didn't enjoy and was the reason I will be receiving a B in her class was because the Midterm was very difficult. It covered half the book which is 10 chapters even though she allowed us to use 1 page of notes on the test it was still very difficult. Im taking the final next week and is the same as Midt

Dr. Friedman gives lectures on all the chapters of the book. All notes and power points will be posted for your review. There are assignments that need to be turned in but they don't load you down. You will need the book. The mid-term and final were our only test grades. I would definitely take another class by Dr. Friedman.

I'm a small business owner and I was going to pay someone to do my website until I took this class. Dr. Friedman taught us to make a website in this this class and how to incorporate SEO (search engine optimization) to get your website found on google. We also did some social media by looking at companies and analyzing social media strategies. fun!

Dr. Friedman is a great professor and she really invests in her students. I recommend digital marketing to any entrepreneur who is looking to get ahead of the digital boom and very practical as well. very hands on and involved.

I liked the class overall and her lectures are interesting. However the tests were hard and you arent graded on much besides that. There were only 2 tests and there wasnt much of a review for them. She also try to bring in one or two guest speakers to talk about how they use marketing in their job. I will recommend this teacher and has an amazing personality, but make sure you attend class because participation counts.

Come to class do the work and receive a good grade. EXAMS (only two), Mid-term and final are based off the book completely, so you'll need the book. She gives homework but not really. The class is boring at first because of all the reading then in the next half of the semester it becomes fun because of presentations and mock interviews.

The class is great though I am taking the six week version of the class. The lectures are engaging and she uses many videos to keep the class entertained. It really connects the lecture material too. You do have to do a lot of textbook reading outside of the class, but the tests are straightforward as long as you read. Assignments are easy.

Professor Friedman was one of the best professors that I have had at Palm Beach State. She is very passionate with her work and strives to teach her students everything there is to know about the business world. If you want to actually LEARN the material, take her!!

An amazing class. I learned a lot about business. The lectures were a lot of fun and based on both the textbook and current events. The first test was open note and the second was take home. We had one group project in which we had to write a report and make a presentation on a business. There were also online reading quizzes every week.

Great Professor! Make sure you buy and read the book. Not sure where she takes her test questions tho. She tells you that you need to read the book in order to pass the test which is true. Not really any home work. One big project but you get to work in groups.

Professor Friedman prefers to have fun within the classroom setting, sprinkling only a couple assignments here and there to do. She understands what students are going through at the time and it was a blast to participate in her class. Would definitely take her class again.

She is extremely helpful in ensuring that each student understands what the class is about and if asked she will work with you on anything! The course assignments are graded graciously so as long as you put a small amount of effort in you will have no problem passing.

It was always a joy to come to her classes, she made all the talks very interesting and made each class fun. Very nice and smart lady.

She cares a lot about her students and conducts very interesting lectures. She tries to have at least one guest speaker per semester. I would definitely recommend taking her.

Friedman's class was fun and interactive. I do suggest keeping up with reading because when exam time comes they are pretty difficult if you aren't reading.

This course was one of my best ever. Dr. Friedman is very knowledgeable and lectures really well. She does not overwhelm students with unnecessary assignments but gives the most relevant ones that enforce vital concepts. She is absolutely the best.

The class is very interesting and enjoyable if you enjoy business. There are only 2 main exams that are the majority of the grade (based mainly off independent textbook reading). Overall really enjoyed the class and professor.

IF you're looking for an easy A take this coarse with DR. Friedman. We only have a mid-term and a final as far as tests go. She brought in a few guest speakers to share their marketing experience with the class. Overall an fun and interesting class.

This professor is very good at what she does. She cares for her students and is extremely flexible with due dates! She does need to improve on the preparation for Midterms and Finals, but she is a joy to have as a professor. I would take her again!

I took Dr. Friedman ENT1000 class this summer, and it was wonderful. every morning I always felt very excited before going to class. She spent very little time talking about the contents of books and presentations, but focused on talking about practical experiences and inspirational stories. I highly recommend her.

I took Dr. Friedman and she's great professor, Tought us about entrepreneurs and how they built up their company in the real world with marketing.

She spent time talking about things related to the book but put them in context of things happening in current news of businesses, which is very nice to listen to talking about examples of what businesses are doing in current time.

Class participation is important, and she does like group projects but gives you the option to work alone if you want. Very friendly and really gets the class involved. This is my 2nd class I have taken with Professor Friedman, she's awesome.

Such a caring professor, ive had her for three classes and I enjoyed every class! Even if you dont need a class she offers I would take it just to gain some outside knowledge! Professor Friedman is well educated in business and especially marketing. She made it quite easy to understand marketing while applying it to real world situations.

I took Professor Friedman last summer for Entrepreneurship, and I did the semester again for Marketing. She is good, but you have read and study to get good grades. her class is not like you just come to class and you'll get an easy A. You have to study, and she gives homework that will help with your final grade.

Professor Friedman has a stance that intimidates you into doing your best. She is very polite, gives clear examples that help students understand concepts. Be prepared to read a lot. There are lots of concepts in this class, team projects, quizzes, and assignments. I would like us to have more exams to split the chapters into small chunks.

I had no idea how important marketing was until I had this class. The teacher makes you learn lightly, using practical examples to facilitate the absorption of concepts. With this class, I learned that marketing has a much wider scope and a major role in the success of any business venture. I do recommend the class. I loved it!

She was one of the best professors I have taken at PBSC. Her lectures are very interesting and informative. If you don't read the book you will not pass!! If you attend class and do all of you work the class will be very easy.

Tests are in class and pretty easy long as you pay attention in class. In class lectures are tailored towards what the class wants to learn about. She is fluid and the class reflects that.

Professor Friedman is the reason I enjoy going to class every other day. The content of the class was very useful and never did I have the thought of "I'm never going to use this." If you have a chance to take a class with her, take the class you won't regret it.
