Class was super easy. I learned how to write thanks to Ms Cueto. She always told me action verbs multiple times; I saw the difference when I learned most verbs. To the 2 sad faces under me, theres no way you couldn't pass the class. If u did bad she would let you do work again. By the way!She doesn't teach ENC1102.

Im deaf and hard of hearing, and even when she start the class early and the interpreter haven't arrive yet, she signs and made sure that I understand whats going on and without missing the class. Made sure that no one is behind and very helpful and try to get all the students to do well on the work,& try to be clearly as possible

TAKE HER CLASS. She is funny, and helpful. No text books are used, treats you as an adult,and makes class interesting not boring at all. Gives 2 extra credits to help students out, I didn't do neither of them and still got a B in her class. 8 assignments total- 2 presentations, 6 writings papers: 3 take-homes, and 3 in class. She is clear and fair.

Great Professor there are 5 assignments each worth 20 pts. they aren't that difficult just listen to her tips on how to get and A+ paper they help. She is all about active verbs so make sure you are using them. She gives good feedback and expects only the best from her students. She doesn't cancel class only if its an extreme emergency.

I loved her class, it was challenging yet I really felt she was with us every step of the way. There were a lot of essays, not a lot of tests, however each class was utilized to it's fullest. Whether through email or in class, Professor Cueto always makes time for her students. I would love to have her again as a professor in the future.

Although she will be there for you don't be fooled with these great comments she's a tough grader barely anyone finishes with her class with an A. She is super tough while grading any assignment if one assignments are missed you have no hope in passing BUT you will become a very good writer I would not recommend taking her class in my opinion

She values class participation so if you are shy you better start talking! Makes you work very hard on the essays but gives you the grade you deserve. Believe me, she appreciates hard working students, I had a few friends who needed 1 or 2 points to get the A and she gave it to them. Just show her that you care about her class!

She grades very harshly, especially for a lower level English class. She assigns a very heavy work load so I wouldn't recommend taking too many classes the semester you take Professor Cueto. All in all, she seems like a nice lady but I think her grading scale is unrealistic for the course level that she teaches.

I think Professor Cueto is pretty straightforward. She's a great individual and I did feel prepared for transferring to colleges as she prepped us in advance. She consistently double checks with us and responds back to emails either the same day or a day later. She's a fabulous professor and I'm so thankful to have her as my IDH professor.

I have had the opportunity to have Professor for three courses: ENC1101, ENC1102, and IDH2003. Within all the courses I have had to work for the grade. To some, she is a tough grader, but in reality she sets the bar high so that she prepares her students to become a great writer. I highly recommend her! You will work, but at least you learn!

An excellent professor, there are only graded 5 assignments for the entire class ( 4 essays and one group presentation) so if you want to have a good grade, you better not skip a single one. She's a very tough grader but take advantage of her help when doing the essays in class. Passing the course with an A is difficult but not impossible.

There is a lot of reading involved. 5 short stories, a novel, and a novella. The class is pretty easy and she is pretty lenient with deadlines. My only negative comment is that she seems to be a little overwhelmed with classes so she rarely replies to your emails within the 24-48 hours turnaround time she has set forth in the syllabus.

AMAZING PROFESSOR!!! gives 4 easy assignments and 1 research paper. She helps you out doing your outlines. Does not review your paper before turning it in you must go to the lab. Knows what she is talking about , very understanding. You do need the book to read the stories she assigns which cost like $25 but you can just get them online for free.

At first, I was a little worried about taking her class due to the assignments but after actually being in her class, it was a breeze. She's an enthusiastic, amazing, well spoken, engaging, and amazing teacher. She works with you and guides you and if you ever need help, she's there for you. 100/10 would recommend to take her.

Not a bad professor, I just had difficult classmates and I don't like group projects . She's really caring and wants to help. First assignment is a group project about 2 music genres. Then a music essay, an art essay and a film essay all done at home. Lastly an in-class essay. Each assignment is 20%.

She puts a lot of care into her students. She changes the due dates several times in order to submit assignment. Always use active verbs and check your spelling. This teacher is very animated and lively. She really believes in her students as well. When it comes to writing, make sure it's a topic that you're passionate about and make it specific.

An excellent professor says instructions straight to the point, and she is always there if you need any help. Even though her class is not challenging you must give some solid effort to receive a positive grade.

I took this class for summer & at first I thought I was in hell because she kept giving 0 ON EVERYTHING. However, she allows multiple attempts on perfecting your work in order for you to get the 100. She really just wants her students to become a better writer TAKE HER if you want to get better in writing. :-) if you fail you really didn't try.

Professor Cueto sets the bar very high for all her students. In this class you literally "earn" every grade. She is a tough grader but allows you multiple chances to better your grade. At the beginning this class can seem overwhelming and never-ending but in the end it's worth it because you know you earned your grade and worked hard for it.

If you don't like to work for your grade, do not take her. 2 essays, 1 research paper, and an EASY project. She is a great teacher but she makes you think and work hard. This was my semi-hardest class and I passed with an A. I took 5 other classes and had a part-time job, so it is doable. She is very understanding!!

Took her my first semester and Im taking her again my second semester. shes super fun and the syllabus that she gave at the start of the class is what she uses the entire year. You must be ready to do a-lot of writing but if you do the work well you will pass.

So she assigns 3-4 essays and 1 reasearch paper (I think the reasearch paper was 25 pages) I hate writing reasearch papers but she breaks it down in sections lets you work on it in class reviews it and either give you a ok to move on or tell you what to fix. Take her she tells you exactly how to write your papers, loved her very nice and caring

The biggest assignment was our mini research paper (3-5 pages, 40% of the grade, two sub-assignments that were 5% each). If you show up to class, she will offer as much help as you need. She frustrated me at times, but she's a great teacher nonetheless. She's pretty relaxed and cool. Overall, I liked her and I would 100% recommend her.

Easy class if you do the assignments and are on top of due dates. There is a lot of work but easy if you put the effort. You won't pass doing the bare minimum.

I took her class on line. Shes organized and follows the syllabus. I enjoyed the reading she provided as it takes you out of your comfort level and introduces a variety of topics you usually dont read. As for writing, be prepare to use your thinking cap. However, provides a ton of resources. Responds to emails promptly, but could be condescending

I never liked writing and I know I never will, I Had to take this class mandatory for credit. But Im glad I chose this professor because she always explains the assignments before, she goes over them. It was little work ( but shes really picky on them. Have to establish good gps and active verbs only) if you dont do good, she gives you chances.

I honestly love how she teaches but its kind of challenging. I took her for ENC 1102, shes one of the greatest at MDC(NORTH CAMPUS). Ive learned so much in one semester and Im grateful for that.

She does not lecture. There are 3 assignments. Music essay, career essay, and poetry essay. The final is an essay as well. No midterm. She is a caring teacher with a very nice and friendly personality. You won't regret taking her. Class time is just to understand assignments and you sometimes go to the library to work on your essay. Very easy class

Very fair grading, be careful with homeworks since there is a lot. I even had a low non-passing grade and despite the professor repiting throughout all the semestrr no make-ups would be offered she allowed me to repost discussion boards to raise my grade (I didnt see the email untill later though lol) but overall very good class. I honestly did not like her in the beginning. She would make me repeat assignments and mark many incorrect things on my essays. However as the semester progressed I realized I became a stronger writer. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be the writer I am today. It's a tough class but if you want to become a better writer I strongly recommend her.

She is a perfectionist and does give a lot of work, but she cares a lot and you will become a stronger writer because of it. She will get on you for the smallest of details, but without that, we'd never learn properly and be ill-prepared for the future. She gives you as many chances as it takes to get it right. She's an excellent professor and she succeeds at making her class easy if you pay attention. She gives you many attempts on assignments until you get a perfect score and you actually learn in the class. No textbook is required and the final exam is just writing a five paragraph essay.
