Excellent Teacher, clear explanation, excellent review before test. Helpful, kind, one of the best that I ever had

she's really easy and helpful if you ask her. Otherwise, she assumes you understood. However, very easy tests, no calcs, but you can pass if you study. she does good reviews prior to test. and lots of extra credit...some homework. no bad at all.

Study guides are identical to the test. She's always available to help you and she really cares about her students. The material is not easy but if you study you should do fine.

Best teacher ever!!! so nice easy class take notes do h/w which is optional to understand the stuff and her exams are just like the reviews which she gives before each exam. If you need help she is very helpful. Now if math isn't your thing and your not going to try then dont waste your time taking her.

I have never done well in math, however I passed this class with flying colors. Go to the lectures, it is really helpful. And the HW is optional but if you do it she gives you extra credit towards the test! Test are 100% like the reviews which she gives before the test and goes over! If you try you will pass, but don't expect an easy A.

This is my second class with this professor and she is still as clear and lovely as the first. She continues to give reviews that are almost verbatim to the actual tests. If you apply yourself you pass.

She is extremely helpful, she explains things over again until you understand it. You have to go to class, if you miss more than 3 days she will drop you unless you have an excuse. Also she gives you a review before every test so you know exactly whats going to be on it. Great professor!

I just finished MAC1105 this past wednesday, and I must say that I really enjoyed her class a lot. She's really funny and helpful, and the atmosphere was always great! I'll really miss this funny class. Anyway, I highly recommend her if you want to learn and have fun. ;)

I took MAC1105 this past Spring term, and I really loved her class. My favorite so far. She's very, VERY nice, and you'll have fun. My classmates were funny and awesome, too. I hope I see them again this Fall term (MAC1147). :)

Proffessor Brito-Villani is a very helpful teacher! Sometimes I had to think what she just said due to her accent but other than that she's great! Her reviews are EXACTLY the same as the test! She gives 10 extra credit points if you do the h.w online. The book is online and not required to buy.

Pros: quite helpful, nice when u ask questions. HW is optional but helps to accumulate points.Reviews for Proctored Exams are excellent. Final Exam is optional. Cons: not enough videos & teaching (virtual class).I depended a lot on various YouTube videos, especially "YAYmath",& language barrier can be difficult at times. My final grade: A.

she is very nice all the homework and quizzes are online and it doesn't make any sense because you have to pass the midterm and final or you will fail. But do good on the quizzes it will help. Some of the questions are right from the H.W. She does give extra credit. Not hard to pass. Very funny. Don't talk while she is teaching she will go faster.

She is great very helpful has a good schedule of class assignments, very understanding, very helpful if needed. Student effective communication is the key through email or office is the key to passing her class.

Not a bad professor but she gives SO MUCH hw, only 2 tests (mid-term & final) and lots of quizzes after every chapter. She goes SUPER fast and it's tough material. It was an overwhelming amount of work for such a difficult subject, and you're entire grade pretty much depends on the mid-term and final. Don't take this class with her.

A passable math class as long as you pay attention and actually try to learn. She gives extra credit opportunities! She really loves math and is really nice and her notes on the board are EXTREMELY organized and easy to understand. The test are almost exactly what is on the review. Shes explanations are good, a lot of examples. Test are tough but she does reviews before. Homework every time she finishes a section but usually gives you a week to do it and answer questions about HW in class. I recommend her.

When reviewing for her tests, make sure to review past homework and quizzes because the reviews she gives are not enough. The extra credit is on mymathlab, and they are extremely long and not worth doing, so don't do them the day before the tests. She cares about attendance and will comment when you don't show up to class.

I too Statistic class online with her, the class itself is not that easy, but if you do all your homework and keep a good grade on your test you are fine. The homework levels your average a lot, it's a big help. She will give you practice tests which will be almost exactly to the tests. But the final will be totally different.

There was no need to buy the textbook, she writes all of the notes on the board. She gives a lot of homework, so its best to get it done early. There's one project and required service learning. With her class, organization is key; make sure you complete all of the assignments prior to the due date.

I suck at math so the fact that this wasn't too difficult for me says a lot. Studying is essential to passing! There's HW after every section and a quiz after every chapter. There's 3 tests, one group project, a final. There's extra credit for the tests and group project and VERY helpful reviews for the tests and final. Do them! Study!

Very nice professor. Responds to emails and is always willing to help. Gives 10 extra credit points on the final exam if you submit 10 sources about things related to the class. Homework assignments are long, but only 10% of your grade. Not a tough grader. Exams are extremely easy. Would definitely recommend her.

Will literally go step by step and answer all questions in detail. I found her teaching to be very manageable and I understood everything she teaches because she narrows it down for you. 4 tests and she provides study guides for all of them that are almost identical to the test. Do the online hw and study guide and you will for sure pass.

AMAZING PROFESSOR! I am horrible in math and passed with an A. Her exams are exactly what she teaches. She is extremely caring and helpful. Take her if you know math isnt your strongest topic. Her homework is online . 5 exams about 20 questions in person.

I got a C+ because i did not study for 2 exams with ample time. She actually teaches, but read the material before each class to ask questions to the professor. Review after every assignment completed in MyLab, it makes a huge difference to prepare you for each Test.

She was amazing! A little annoying that she will ask you to purchase MyStatLab just for 10% class participation grade but other than that she is extremely helpful. If you participate and do the hw/quizzes she assigns you will pass the exams! She is extremely understanding and will help you as long as you do not take advantage.

Any students will describe math as one of the most difficult course to take. However, I strongly believe that the instructor has the power to change that perspective. And, Professor Brito has done just that with his gregarious personality and devotion put put towards his students. I will strongly recommend her if you are willing to learn.

This Professor is amazing. This is my second time taking this math class and I'm about to end with a B. She is very quick to respond and very caring and understanding. I missed a test and she opened it back up for me and let me take it late. Highly recommend. Medium amount of work, just do everything and you'll pass.

Prof Brito is an amazing person. She loves her students and is very good at what she does. She explains clearly and is passionate about math. I took a blended STAT class. My only complaint is about how the class is structured, not the professor. DO NOT TAKE BLENDED STATS CLASS. THIS IS NO JOKE. TOO MUCH WORK, NOT ENOUGH TIME TO TEACH BASIC CONCEPTS

Took her for MGF1106, great teacher. She uses PowerPoints and will go over the homework she assigns if you have any questions. Homework is due through blackboard, but be careful cause she switches from it being due at 11:59pm to 11:00pm. Downside of the class was you have to pay $103 for a code that you will only need for class participation.

Really Good Professor. I took her for my STA2023 and I honestly learned the content and got really good grades. She explained in a way I could understand and do all my homework, quizzes and test with no problem. Take her!!! you wont regret.

This is the second time I take an online statistics class with Miami Dade College. I failed it last semester. For both classes, it is the EXACT same assignments, homeworks and exams as the professor I took last time. Its also the same grading system. Is it easy? No. The benefit of her is shes very very nice, understanding, kindhearted and helpful!

What a sweet teacher! I took her online. I have anxiety when it comes to school, but this teacher honestly believes in her students. She e-mails you every week to help check in and keep you on track. She responds to her e-mails within 24 hours or less. The coursework is normal, not hard, you just do a bit everyday and you will be fine. Loved it!

Brito-Villani is one of the great professors to have for stats. She is a great person with intelligence & a kind heart. Always bring an electronic device ! They are important to do the participation (Learning catalytics). Her tests are pretty easy to pass as long as you study the homework, quizzes, notes and test reviews.

Must turn everything on time or else the dropbox closes although she was nice enough to accept a late assignment once through email. would take again

I took her for MAC 1114 Trigonometry class, material is hard but she made it easy to understand, she uses a origram for participation that help us to practice a lot, I would take her again

No will never go wrong by taking Professor BRITO-VILLANI, MARTA's online class. She answers all emails in a timely fashion and gives great feedback on class assignments. Just do your assignments and join in on the discussion and you are sure to pass. I really enjoyed myself and learned a lot.

I love her class. Even in a remote environment I feel like is a face to face class. She use lockdown browser for test, but not for quizzes or HW, participation in class is required. Test are easy.

Beautiful my first yr in college and before that I failed basically every math class before her and I still passed her class on my own without "outside help." She truly does care and makes sure to teach in detail as well as extend test dates as long as you communicate. Her classes are recorded & powerpoints along with practice material are there.

Amazing, no more words needed. Clear, she knows and handles his topic, teaches you a lot of tricks. Simplifies but not over, frequently asks if you needs help The grading is more on you than her. Real nice professor, her accent may be a little heavy but, she write really good notes, if you have doubts you can ask herin Spanish too :)).

The tests aren't easy, so be prepared and study well. You get graded for participation. Professor is very kind and teaches very well, made every lesson clear and understanding. And if you still didn't get it, you had plenty of time to study to better understand.

Brito-Villani is a great stats teacher. She always asked the class if everyone understood the concept before going on and always asked if anybody needed help, may it be inputting something on the calculator or a question on the homework. The class was sorta fast-paced but manageable if you really studied. Would take her class again.
