marta is a wonderful teacher, she is one of the few who actually cares about her students. its ridiculuos how much work she puts into her class! very enthusiastic and passionate about teaching. she always makes herself availabe and explains everything until its understood. also very understanding. Her classes are amazingly awesome. She has a unique approach to teaching math concepts that works insanely well. She's eccentric but it's channeled into her lesson plan making the class a great experience. Create your schedule around her classes if you have to.

Marta is a wonderful math teacher. She is patience with students and clear in her lessons and material. She is one of the few teachers who wants to make sure you understand the material and goes out of her way with providing sample quizes, practice problems, extra credit problems and explanations to all homework, quiz,and tests. Loved Her!

Marta is by far one of the best teachers I have ever taken. She was excellent in her explanations. If you don't understand the material, she will go out of her way to make sure that you get it! Excellent teacher! I highly, highly recomend her.

Mrs. H is an absolutly fantastic professor! If anyone is intrested in learning anything about math this professor could not be more highly recomended. I have never taken a math class with an instructor that was as passionate and interesting. The subject matter can be tough sometimes but she makes the material very clear and easy to understand.

She is the greatest teacher you'll meet in your life. I wasn't so great at math until I took her. She helped me get and A+ on every hw, quiz, exam, midterm, final. It's not hard to keep up with her if u pay attention and try.

Love this instructor. Took two classes from her and I started to love math. I've always hated math but she made it really easy for me to understand. If you do your homework, study for the quizes and test you will do great in the class. But you have to be willing to work for your grade.

Folks, Ms. Hidegkuti is a fantastic teacher. Love her. Check this out... Sometimes she may give you some FUN Math Puzzels... My favorite one is: she gave an equation for us to solve and draw the graph... after drawing that graph the image appears to be a HEART. I won my girlfriend's heart using this formula... Mrs. H, thank you, you're fantastic!

Wow, Marta is an amazing teacher. She's great at explaining things and really makes sure you understand everything before moving on. She's brilliant and eccentric and hilarious also. I don't really need to take another math class after 118, which I am in now, but she makes me want to study more math because I actually understand what she teaches.

Amazing teacher. I've always loved math but I've always had a difficult time learning things along with the class because I have Aspergers and spoken instructions and directions leave me baffled, but somehow, she makes learning easy. There is a lot of repetition of concepts and that helps a lot, I think. I would recommend her to anybody .

Ms. H makes learning easy and fun. I've always struggled with math, and for the first time in my life, i'm succeeding and understanding the material. I HIGHLY recommend any class this woman teaches. She is truly amazing. Definitely a diamond in the rough at Truman College!

If you attend the classes and do the homework you will have no problem. Marta is an excellent teacher. She requires that your questions be direct- just saying I don't get it- doesn't fly.She will go out of her way to re-explaine something but will need your active participation in helping her understand where you are having trouble. She teaches.

I took math 99 and calculus with her. Prior to taking her classes I struggled with, and hated math. Marta's style, energy, passion, and dedication to her students left me with an understanding of math I didn't know was possible. I even left calculus seeing beauty in math. I highly recommend her. Truman is extremely lucky to have her.

Marta is the best math teacher I have ever had. She helped me build the confindence I needed to complete her class and pursue a career in the sciences. She is a passionate and helpful professor. If you take her class, respect her, go to class, take notes, and dont screw around. If you do not go and do not take notes you will not succeed.

Her Precalculus class has a lower passing rate than Calculus. She is a better than average professor. The major problem students have with her is with clarity. She urges students to study a lot. She only allows scientific calculators.

Marta is one of the most inspiring and interesting teachers I have had. If I could, I would take her for every class that I have. Her exams are throurough, and if you do the work, she will answer any questions you have. She doesn't like answering questions from people who don't pay attention. She in amazing and you should take her.

Marta was a joy to learn from. She was very helpful, even responding quickly to off-hour email questions. She is always eager to help out with any questions you have, so long as you put in the time and effort in your work. I would definitely recommend taking her classes.

Great teacher. I have taken many math classes and never enjoyed any untill now. She explains "why" and puts real life examples into the lectures and that makes math seem fun. You do have to work but its worth it...Even if your not into mathematics you will learn something about life!

martha is the best. she takes her time to explain any question you have expecially during office hours. her notes are more explanatory than text. her homeworks are very helpful for tests and exams. highly recommended.

Can't believe that Marta has some bad reviews here. If some students expect good grades without putting any effort it's only their problem. She is a great teacher, very helpful and explains everything very well. I would recommend to take classes with her to everybody.

I have been fortunate to find a professor like Prof.Hidegkuti at Truman college. She is super organized and clear on lectures.I missed few topics in my Math-207 as I migrated from Nepal to US, but as I am about to complete Cal-II with Prof. Hidegkuti,I have all the knowledge from Math-208 and my missed Math-207.Tip:practice lecture notes b4 book.

best maths professor so far in truman..had an A in her class....she explains from the scratch(pre-algebra,algebra). you need to master her reviews and handouts before quizzes and exams...(guys guys guyss)

Great and wonderful teacher. Best math teacher in Truman. However her teachings may get too overwhelming and so are her exams. But if you are a smart student and studies diligently, you'll be fine.

I'm gonna be honest, Ms. H's classes are difficult. Atleast for an average student like me, it is. However, Ms. H is a great and wonderful teacher. She knows math very well and you'll learn a lot from her. Her handouts and website is also very very helpful.

Marta is a genius. She doesn't require students to purchase a textbook, because everything she has written by herself is more clear cut than any math textbook I have ever encountered in my life. You have to be willing to work for the grade, and work hard, but she will always be there for you. If you love math, this is your class!

Hidegkuti is an awesome professor, almost too patient for her own good, and is very helpful. She has her own website and always makes the lesson goals clear cut.

Even after 7 years at various schools before Truman, I can confidently say she is one of the most brilliant professors I've encountered. Don't miss classes & do the worksheets after each class.

She is innovative in her approach and gathers resources from all over the internet in order to cover the material thoroughly. The class requires a lot of time and dedication but is especially challenging with Marta because she is she wants to prepare you for the next level.

If you really want to learn math, take Marta. If you're hoping to get away without working or coming to class, take someone else. Marta has high expectations for students, and she will work side by side with you to help you meet those expectations. She is tough but fair. If you work hard in her class, you will do well in calculus classes.

This professor is one of the best that you can get at Truman. If you want to learn math, this is a good place to be. She is very consistent and organized. I took 207 and 208.. Math can be learned only through hard work, so she will provide you with very good handouts, courses and homework. Good luck! TOTALLY RECOMMENDED!!!

She teaches math very well and you can tell she enjoys it very much. The only thing I didn't like about her is that, if you ask her questions, she gets mad. But other than that, there's nothing else to say because she teaches well.

Ms. H is by far the most fun math teacher I've ever had. She gives a damn about the way math is taught, and is easily one of the most mathematically adept and clever teachers Truman (and Chicago City Colleges) has to offer. I took her for Math 143 as well. I no longer fear Calculus because of her. It's math, it's hard, but with her, it's doable.

Took her for 143 and 207. She is an amazing professor. She explains everything so well and she's funny. She doesn't use a textbook, she gives you everything you need as handouts or online. Just don't expect not to have to work hard. She made Calculus very enjoyable.

She is super nice if you talk to her and go to her office hours. Definitely a tough grader and a little meticulous, but she genuinely cares about her students and the way math is taught. If you pay attention and use the resources she gives you (which is a lot), you can do well in her class. Overall, great teacher!

I took MATH207 Calculus I with Professor Hidegkuti. Prof. Hidegkuti's enthusiasm for math is contagious. I left this class feeling curious and excited about math. The class is also difficult, and the tests are frequent and comprehensive. You will have to do a lot of work for this class. Overall, Prof. Hidegkuti is a talented and caring teacher.

Ms. Hidegkuti is a great instructor. She provided us with excellent resources. Just work with her and I am sure you will get an excellent grade. I encourage everyone to take her classes.
