I HATE math teachers, or maybe it's just math? who dosent? but this teacher is something else, so helpful, understanding, explains very well, makes solving problems very easy to understand. A great teacher. Homework: not to bad, only for your benefit. SUPER NICE! If they had the rating, she would obviously be a +10. (next on the list... LERN 49!)

WOW!! Ever since i was little, i HATED math! But after taking this class I have a different view on it. Professor Hall was amazing. I enjoyed going to her class every day and she made sure that she got to know all of her students on the same level. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend her. She was so helpful and nice. GREAT TEACHER!!

Proffesor Hall is an amazing teacher. I am currently taking her class for lern 48-49 and she is very good at explaining and making sure we get what she's teaching. She is very helpful and does care to know her students, she calls her self very nosey.Lol! She is awesome and I would take her class again. I recommend her class to anyone. She's great!

Martha is so dope! hahahaha ask her about that word too. She's a great and helpful teacher. Whenever a student needed help, that they could not find with a Lab tutor, she would make herself available. She's encouraging, and if you're not the greatest at math, like I =S, that encouragement can go a long way. She's hella funny too with her "raps" ha!

Mrs. Hall made learning so much fun!! I graduated from high school 15 years ago and I found myself being in a review class with a bunch of kids. Mrs Hall workr=ed with me one on one during her lab hours she was always willing to help. You just need to pay attention and you will definetely pass this class!!!! If math is not your subject, this is the teacher to go to. I've always been horrible at math and Mrs. Hall has a way of teaching that sticks with you. Her notes are very clear, she even has songs to learn the material. I would recommend her 100%

Simple. Just take her class! :) It's easy, fun, chill, ect. I enjoyed her class, Never missed a day, Never wanted to miss, and I had her once a week for like 3 hours at a time! :O She remembers your name, and she's helps a lot. She'll make you feel welcomed as soon as she speaks. Also, she didn't seem to mind if people ate in class! :D Dope class.

She's very funny and quirky and makes learning fun. She's very clear about the material and will almost go out of her way to make sure that you understand it. Take plenty of notes as it will help you in the class. DO THE HOMEWORK and practice the material and you're almost guaranteed to pass.

Professor Darth Hall is very funny and makes math easy. Unfortunately, my schedule was conflicting not once but TWICE, so I had to opt out. Third time should be a charm and I will definitely be sitting through her class, again, through those hilarious raps, and easy math steps, via hand signals. HA!

Great professor makes class interesting and your able to understand math concepts clearly. She is always willing to help students if they need additional help or tutor before or after classes.

She proved to be one of my most favorite teachers the biggest reason is she was not afraid to make a fool out of herself(even though she didnt) if it meant her students would learn... by raping and skipping and hand signs all those things really helped me to learn the concepts.I really appreciated her, she taught and I learned. great teacher...

This was by far my fav professor. I'm now in MATH 51, but I started in LERN 49 with Mrs. Hall. Things I learned in her class are helping me so much even in my current math class. She has a way of making math click! She takes time with u and makes sure everyone understands before moving one. She is great! Awesome educator. Love her!

I am currently taking her class & I love it hard to believe because Mathematics has always been my worst subject! She says funny things so that you can remember how to solve the problems. She gives lab assignments that are due about every week.

I Loved MRS Hall! I was a "going back to school" student where math was NOT my forte, ever. I decided to start at the foundations of simple mathematics like fractions, neg. numbers and percentages. She explained concepts so well and was funny while doing it. She made math fun. The required worksheets helped me absorb what i learned after class.

I have to say Mrs. Hall is an excellent professor. I am terrible at math yet her class was full of informative lectures and plenty of step by step examples, take notes!!! Be advised she does give a lot of HW along with Lab assignments, also note if you don't do the work she will not pass you. Attendance is a must! Expect class participation!

This professor will help you get to the top of your Math. From Lern 49 to Math 110 she will prep you so well! Pay attention, do your homework and lab hours. Sign up for tutoring if you need the extra help. Tutoring is great! Tests are great!

Such a great teacher and she makes the lectures fun and easy to understand. Keeps you awake and let's you eat in class so that's a + in my book. Homework is online and she gives lab assignments weekly that really only help you understand the material more. It also makes you more willing to see a tutor for extra help! I wish she taught Math50 and up

She is really awesome and she is VERY explanatory . She does issue a lot of homework if you take her in a session it is time consuming. I enjoy her methods. Highly suggest that you never try to be absent. Her notes are posted online but not the same. Soft voice when talking 1 on 1. I wish she taught higher math, she's an excellent professor.

I took her for Lern 48 and 49 and she is an amazing professor!! She makes the class fun and makes the notes easy for the students to understand. The only thing i didn't like was the online homework, that takes forever... If you are good at math, take her in the session to be done quick, but if you want a slow paced class take her in the semester.

Mrs. Hall is amazing she helped me understand math in just 8 weeks, I never had high school math so this was all new to me. I attended class every day and had a tutor twice a week. passed the class thanks to her way of teaching. I recommend her if you're afraid of taking math!

Took her Lern49 class SHES AMAZING! Great teacher and is really helpful. A lot of MyMathLab assignments but that's about it. Her tests are fairly easy but you do need to study. Reviews basic algebra and pre algebra skills. If you take her, but not even complete it, you can get up to Math 50 from the placement. BUT, if you're going to skip - FAIL

An amazing professor. She would make you laugh always does jokes and does the lecture fun. She does assign a lot of homework but is very helpful when doing tests. She is very understanding and helpful she is super clear with equations and is just the best I would take her 1000x more !!

She's also caring, access able outside of class, respected, beware of hw & quizes, & is clear about her grading system.

I took her LERN 49 class this summer and she is such an awesome professor. She is very specific and clear on what she expects. She used MyMathLab and honestly I wish I wouldn't purchased the code only because I never used the book. With the code, you have access to the book online in PDF. I definitely recommend anyone to take her, she made it easy.

I took her my first semester of college and I loved this class. she knows how to teach math very well and I'm very bad at math but now I'm pretty good at it. the homework is all online and she gives you a lot of time to do it. I highly recommend if you're bad at math. you won't regret it !!!

I havent taken math since high school like 4 years ago and took college algebra with her this semester! I honestly came into the classes so stressed and worried because I suck at math so much. I have learned so much from her! The homework is easy and the test are multiple choice, but you have to show your work. She is so nice, I love her! TAKE HER!

Prof. Hall is a wonderful teacher. I'm dyslexic and have always struggled with math, but she was able to help me understand and even enjoy math. She would hang out at the Math Tutoring Center after classes and would help us with whatever we weren't understanding. I would definitely suggest her to anyone who has anxiety about math. The best math professor I have ever had. She's super nice and caring towards her students and wants everyone to understand and not get left behind. She was always available to ask questions on the material during the week in her office hours and will explain it super well. At the end of the day just try your best and she will work with you.

She is every bit as amazing as the other reviews say. Only drawback is she spent a lot of lectures on reviews so that students who have fallen behind can catch up but then we're responsible for teaching ourselves material she doesn't cover in class. Just be aware of this if you have a full course load. Knowing this now, I'd still take her again.

As someone who has always been terrible at math, Ms. Hall has been awesome. She has never once criticized or ridiculed anyone in the class for asking a question, and always encourages us to do better. She is very compassionate. Do the homework, pay attention in class, and you'll be fine. Honestly has helped me feel so much more comfortable.

Amazing math professor, quick grader and responsive. An 8am math class is obviously going to be a bit dull, but she tried her best to make the class fun and interesting. No extra credit, so if you weren't already good at math it'll be difficult to get an A, but I would still recommend to people who aren't great at math, you'll learn a lot.

One of the best teachers. She knows how to explain clearly and is understanding to the class and the progress made. She provides completed notes so you can go back and puts videos for lessons she doesn't get to cover. I took her for the winter session, and she removed some modules that we didn't have time to go over.

She really takes her time to slow down and makes sure you understand. Study guides are very helpful for exams, grades in timely manner and uses so many real life examples to help you understand. Exams were easier than homework, professor cared about issues that occurred outside of the classroom. Really prepared me for calc. Beware of the mandatory textbook.

Professor Hall will make sure everyone understands the topic before moving on, she's kind and you can tell she cares. She takes time to ask questions about homework and the quizzes always reflect what we learned.

The class was easy since it had basic concepts that you learned through out high school and all the quizzes we'd do would be reviewed before test. Attendance matters only because of notes and you get an in-depth explanation that would other wise not be shown if you just had someone send you the notes. Didn't pass because I stopped going.

Professor Hall is awesome! She goes the extra mile to help students that are disabled/struggling in general. I like the fact that she gives points here and there for different stuff (Such as attendance, participation, homework, final project is very easy). After several tries, i was only able to pass this course when i signed up to take her class.

Very fun professor, Most of your grade depends on tests. So make sure you focus and ask lost of questions, when you are unsure of something. Homework is fairly simple but is almost daily. Takes 20-25 mins to complete.

Professor Hall is an awesome, creative teacher. If you go to her class and do homework on Pearson regularly, you will be able to deal with Trig. Plus, SI sessions(tutoring) offer extra credit, so make sure you go to those sessions. Sometimes, she is more into the warm-up problems, and it takes half of the lecture time. Notes are grades, too.

I took Professor Hall for fall semester and overall it's a great class. Warm-ups focus on problems the class needs extra help on. Group work was also on a daily basis but very helpful as she walks around offering help. Exams take up most credit. Attendance was mandatory but lenient. Overall, explains really well and is willing to work with you.

The course was fairly easy. Her lectures were insightful and she is very caring and insightful. Though, there are times where we had to do notes on our own since we did not have enough time for lectures during certain days. It was not a problem for me, but it could be a problem for others who are slower to learn.

Prof. Hall is so kind and makes learning math easy. You get as many tries as you need to review the homework and get it right and she's happy to answer questions. There's only a few quizzes and the final isn't bad at all. One final project which is also extremely easy. Overall just a really helpful professor that makes math accessible
