she's really nice and always repeats things over and over that are the most important and will be on a quizzes or tests so just make sure to listen during lecture. i never used my book at all- tests are taken exactly from her notes so study those!

Tests are a little tough, but just study the study guide and you'll do fine. He is a great person, funny and nice. Willing to help outside of class too.

You didn't need the book. Gives reviews for exams, all you have to do is look over them and you'll ace the tests. Nice lady, interesting course.

She is a wonderful teacher. She holds your attention from the first day of class until the last day semester. The class is already interesting but she adds to it. She understands the material and you can tell she is passionate about it. No use getting book she doesnt use it, I mean it will be a good reference but she give you notes

One of the primary reasons I got my Ph.D. was Martha's guidance. Still have a crush on her too! Alas, all of the good ones are taken :-)

Very knowledgeable about the subject. Inspired me to pursue my studies in this subject/area and gave me the resources to do so. I would go out of my way to take her course. It is difficult, but you will have a much better understanding of the human body and reproductive system. By far the best professor at this University!

She is totally cool! the class was definately interesting and the project was pretty fun. She definately keeps ya busy and her tests arent bad at all! I would most definately take classes with her again!

Her tests aren't easy but the content is exactly whats on the study guide. If you are easily distracted by a hot professor watch out, because she's a hottie.

My absolute fave prof., hands down. It will take alot for someone to take her place at the top of my list. I learned an incredible amount of info in her class. She is a genuine person! By the 2nd week of class, she knows everyone by 1st & last name. Test are harder, but she doesn't trick you. Just study the notes! You won't want to skip this class!

She is the BY FAR the BEST professor I've ever had at FGCU. She makes the material interesting AND explains it THOROUGHLY! She is a genuinely nice & caring professor & WOMAN ;) If you have the opportunity to take ANY of her classes, DO IT! Her exams are extensive, but if you go to class & study her notes, no question you'll do great!

She is one of my favorite professors. I did bad on her first exam but did better. She is always helpful when helping me with things I am confused about. She loves teaching Human Physiology and I always liked her class. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Amazing! Her lectures are well organized, she is exciting and interesting to follow. If you do the study guides, which is time consuming, you will do well on the exam. Difficult course and Rosenthal made it easy to understand and succeed. Recommend this teacher for any course she offers!

She is a great professor because she's passionate about what she teaches and presents lectures clearly and fluidly. Tests are tough but plenty of assignments to make up for poor test grades. She also wrote the book for the class! I recommend the class and the prof.

Dr. Rosenthal is a legend at FGCU, for good reason. She is totally laid-back, and you'll talk about things in Human Phys that you never thought you'd talk about at school. She knows you are pre-med/dental/pharm, so her class is HARD. Don't take it unless you are preparing for the rigor of professional school. Great teacher and lady!

She is awesome! She is really easy to understand. 4 tests but all you have to do is study her notes and DO HER STUDY GUIDES! and you will be set! I learned a lot of information and i hate science! Totally recommend her to anybody.

Love her, she's so funny and a great teacher. Everything she teaches is so interesting. She uses games a lot and class is always fun. Test are exactly off the study guide so be sure to use them. She also wrote her text book so everything is clear that she teaches. Even if you don't need this class, i'd take it. Very useful and exciting :)

This is my 3rd time taking Dr. Rosenthal and I absolutely LOVE her! Everything she teaches is so fascinating and she keeps the class engaged. Make sure you print out the notes that she posts on Angel, it'll help you in the long run. Also, her tests can be hard, but if you study your notes and study guide, you will ace it! THE BEST professor @ FGCU!

I honestly loved going to this class. She was very fun and personable. Just pay attention in class and study for the tests. I would recommend filling out the study guides during class and not the notes, just so it makes it easier on you before the test.

I took her in the summer for Human Sexuaility.She keeps the class engaged and is very good at what she does. make sure you do the study guides and you will be fine!

She has a way of teaching that makes things super clear and easy to understand. You just can't get a better teacher for this class. She's so helpful, high spirited, and really funny. She definitely keeps class interesting. The tests are straightforward and conducive to actually learning things.

While she is a sweet and hilarious woman, she is not to be taken lightly. Her lectures are EXTREMELY helpful and informative but her exams are nothing to laugh about-- study and study well. Her study guides are fantastic, though, so don't stress! I hope to take another class of hers someday!

Human Physiology - Martha is the best - her class is tough but it's not that bad, just study the notes & study guide. She does +/- in all her classes but most upper level science profs do. She has a small built in curve in the final grade but no curve on tests. She is super enthusiastic and an awesome professor overall!

This class was definitely one of my favorites. She kept the class interesting and let the students have discussions in class. Make sure you attend class, fill out the notes thoroughly and do the study guides and you'll do great! :)

Martha is amazing at what she does, this class consists of 5 exams and a bunch of homework and activities in class. Weekly quizzes but she tells you what's on it. She gives study guides for her tests. No final in her class. what more do you want for an easy A?!

Professor Rosenthal is a great instructor. She is very passionate and helpful. Overall an easy course if you go to class and review before the exams. Attendance is mandatory, but that isn't a problem since her lectures are interesting and funny. This class will be easier for healthcare majors.

Rosenthal has got to be one of the most enjoyable professors I have ever taken. For her Sexuality course, she has all the notes almost totally typed up. Come to class to fill in the blanks, watch the videos and slideshows she presents, and you will be golden. There is no homework and 5 tests. Just study hard and you will pass, I passed with an A-

I love this class. I was struggling with deciding to drop or not because I'm using my free elective credits for this class, but I decided to stay because it's so awesome. She's a great professor, super sweet and funny, gives study guides, extra credit, chapter notes that you usually fill in in class with the lectures. Take it, you won't regret it!

Professor Rosenthal is the best teacher I have ever had in college, period. I would take any class she offers. She provides you with notes, powerpoints, and study guides for all the tests and quizzes. The material is hard but she explains it so clearly that it is easy to understand and she's hilarious and down to earth. Best teacher EVER. TAKE HER!

Prof Rosenthal is an outstanding professor. I enjoyed this class so much! There are many opportunities to get extra credit so I would take every advantage of that. Her tests can be a bit tricky especially T/F questions but just fill out the study guides in class and read the text book and you should be fine! Amazingggg class!! I would take it again

The previous three comments are from a salty student. Ignore. She is a great professor with fun and engaging lectures. She's hilarious and you only need to know what she goes over. TAKE HER if you want a class that is equal parts learning as it is fun.

This is not an easy class. Half the class would fail each exam and there would only be two A's. She is a super nice and caring lady, but she would put questions on the exams that we didn't even go over in class. She gives study guides, but they are really broad and just say to know everything we have covered in class.

Very good professor. Neuroscience has a lot of content so getting a good grade isnt automatic, but Dr. Rosenthal provides so many resources in her class that it would be hard not to learn the material. As a senior biology student I found her to be one of the most engaging science lecturers on campus. I learned a lot and would take her again.

Took her for a Drugstore Society class. Amazing lectures. Plenty of detail and you learn a lot. Exams are fair and representative of the study guide she provides you. Very little homework. A major group project so make sure you have a decent group. She is approachable during and after class if you have questions. Sweet lady and I'd take her again.

Loved this class. Some of the information can be a lot, but this is definitely a tolerable natural science class. Interesting material. She is funny and keeps you engaged in the material. Just make sure you study for tests at least a week in advance and you'll be fine.

OMG!! Best professor I have ever had! Someone at orientation told me to take a professor and not the class- if that is true you should take everything that Dr. Rosenthal teaches. She is willing to go over tough subjects as often as needed, and explains them in different ways to help you understand. Extremely knowledgeable about the subject.

Dr. Rosenthal was the greatest teacher I've ever had FGCU. She is not only so caring, she's unbelievably passionate about what she teaches, and is absolutely hilarious. I wish I could take every class with Dr. Rosenthal, and I can't thank her enough for such a great semester. If you can, TAKE HER CLASSES!!! You will not regret it!!!

Very great professor, bio of human sex is a class I recommend to all! Lectures are fun, engaging, you really learn a lot. Tests are somewhat difficult, as long as you read the book, look at notes, you will do fine. She wrote the textbook herself; I actually loved the book & want to buy it when a modern version is released. Class & prof are awesome!

Dr. Rosenthal is one of the most amazing people you might have the pleasure of meeting. I have taken her for 3 classes (drugstore society, biology of human sexuality & the cannabis course). Shes realistic and offers many extra credit opportunities. She gives great online notes and study guides for quizzes. She even writes her own textbooks! �����

She is one of the best professors I have ever had!!! She is a great teacher and her course work is pretty easy as long as you study! Only 5 quizzes and they were all supper easy with study guides with exactly what will be on the quiz. Class discussions are so fun to :)

I loved her sexuality class! What an amazing professor! Her tests can be a bit tricky and you REALLy need to pay attention to the questions and how they are worded. She doesn't have a lot of assignments but the majority are easy. I loved showing up to her classes!

Amazing at breaking down complex concepts into bite-sized nuggets. Really energetic and cares what you think, creates a respectful sharing environment. No weekly homework outside of Brief Thoughts which you can complete all at once; 4 tests are the main grades. Get ready to have awkward, but interesting and necessary conversations! I loved it!

She is one of the best professors I've ever had. She's super funny and caring. 100/10 recommend. She does lectures every class period and yes they may be long but you will definitely get a great laugh out of it. She is always there to help you.

Amazing, funny, caring, interesting. I had a 'fear' of biology, but she made it all make sense. Lectures are recorded, but she also reviews them in class and begs for questions. Could not be nicer and provides lots of extra credit. Responds to emails fast. Entire class modules given in advance. Lazy folks won't do well. Love her! Highly recommend!

By far my favorite professor at FGCU. She is caring, honest, respectful and highly knowledgeable of the subjects she teaches. She makes her classes interesting and provides really cool/unique fun facts pretty much every class. She is very willing to provide extra help and further explanation when needed and I definitely recommend taking this class!

Dr. Rosenthal is a really great prof. She really cared about her students. Her tests are online and use lockdown browser+respondus, but she gives you plenty of material to prepare/study. She posted her lectures online, gave you pre-written notes to fill in during lectures, and even had study guides prepared on canvas. Attendance is graded

Take Rosenthal!!!! She makes a class filled with a lot of material feel like a breeze. She does use lockdown browsers, but she makes a study guide for every exam. She gives out a lot of extra credit, which was really helpful. She's a sweet woman and clearly wants her students to truly learn the material. I have never enjoyed a class more.

If you have the chance to take Professor Rosenthal, you absolutely should! Her bio of human sexuality is the most interesting class I have ever taken, and she is the best professor I have had at FGCU. There isnt much outside work, so she does rely on 4 tests and 3 quizzes on lockdown browser, but if you study you will be fine! Take this class!

I will say, the tests you take in this class can be very difficult and require lockdown browser with face cam, but it is so worth it. The professor is kind and really wants you to know the information and provides accommodations when given proper notice. I would take this class over and over again if I could.
