Made the early morning class not so bad to come to. She was very helpful and always made sure the class understood before moving on. It helps that she younger and can relate to her students better.

Extremely easy teacher. Gives you problems that are going to be on the test. Tests have about ten problems that are not difficult. You do not have to go to class everyday just make sure you go on the review day and you will be good.

Is a great teacher.Very helpful during class and is more then willing to help after.She does a great job preparing you for the final and future math classes.Shes not so easy you can miss a lot of class but it is posable to get an A also.Great teacher in my book, wish she tought 105 and higher.

Martha is the best instructor BCC has for math. She is very clear and knows how to teach this subject with clarity. She keeps the class on a positive note and is always willing to take questions. I would recommend her to everyone.

She's a really sweet lady and is always willing to go over anything or help you. But if I hadn't taken 98 first, I think I would have been completely lost with her.

I thought Martha was great. She was smart and very helpful. She's also young. The first day of class I thought she was a student.

Great teacher for Math, helpful and allows you to come for help when needed. Has daily hw and review assingmnets to help prepare for tests. Always on time and is a plesure to have again. Wish she would teach Precalc for BCC!

AWESOME TEACHER. I wish so bad she would teach precalc... she is wonderful, knows her stuff, knows how to get it across. assigns homework, but not a rediculous amount. she does grade it too, so you need to do it. AMAZING TEACHER. take her!!

Excellent instructor. Ms. Stevens is punctual and is very much interested in her topic, and this enthusiasm helps make the material interesting for the students. Take her class if you need a lecture science!

She is VERY helpful and knows her stuff. Perfectly explains every detail. You can't get bored and its very easy to take notes. Altough a good amount of H/W has to be done, after each class it's very easy.

By far the most helfpful and passionate teacher ever. I no math wiz, but Marthat made the course understandable and I enjoyed coming to class. Far better to understand than Marilyn Anderson or Pete Bloomsburg for Math 156 and 157. Those two ought to consider sitting in and refreshing their teaching tactics with Martha.

Easy (for a science, you still have to go to class, study for tests etc.) but she makes it easy. Gives you review sheets for tests a few days before, be able to answer all the questions and youll get at least 80 on a test. Short, simple homework worth a lot of the grade, fun storm project at end.

She was Awesome!! She explains everything with great detail! She is always willing to help and gives you some opportunities for ec! She is a good choice!

She is great at lecturing but she did a very minimal amount. This class was mostly online. The lectures were online, than sometimes if she thought the class was struggling she would do a lecture. She is very clear and very easy to understand when she lectures. You have evaluates, which are like mini quizzes after every section and 4 tests.

Brilliant Teacher!! The best teacher at BCC so far and it's my 3rd quarter!! Please take her... Group presentation and individule paper for final. 3 tests. HW due every week or so. Please take her class. She will certainly help if you need it!!! Great class and wonderful teacher!!!

I highly recommend taking this class if your at all interested in meteorology because she is VERY informative and helpful. Not an "easy A" class by far, no finals but a group project at the end of the quater. ONLY bad thing is we took like 5 pages of notes a day from powerpoint and it gets a little repeditive. Good class though!

Martha is great. One of the best teachers on campus in my opinion. Highly recommended.

Martha was a great teacher. She always went over any area were there was any confusion. She even let us bring a page of notes for our final. But sometimes I wouldnt go to class because I could just read the book instead. Granted her lectures are WAY better then the book, but she doesnt take attendance, and sometimes i didnt feel like I needed to go

She is an amazing teacher. Probably the best math teacher I have had. The class is mostly out of the book but she lectures about everything before each assignment and makes sure that you understand everything that you are being taught. Definitely would recommend taking her if you are looking for a good grade and full understanding on math.

Martha IS the best instructor i've ever had. Very helpful and clear in teaching, lectures, and extra help or questions on the side. She's always on time and outstanding in explanations! Perfect teacher.

She is great. Very helpful. I had to re-take math 99 and she allowed me to come to office hours when I needed help. She does not take attendance, but encourages you to be there. She remembered when I missed a day, and respected that I came to her for help. Very helpful, I enjoyed taking the class, I had no interest in math but she made it easy

Great teacher. Very clear instructions. Sticks to her homework, quiz and test schedule exactly. Her tests and quizes are very easy if you do the homework. She isnt one of those devilish math teachers who tries to trick you on the tests just so you fail. I havent had any math teachers as good as her...ever.

She is a great teacher, very clear and very nice, but at first I didn't know she was the teacher. :-) It can be a little hard to concentrate because she's very attractive, but gives you extra incentive to attend class regularly. I took her meterology class in the fall and enjoyed it a lot.

Shes a great teacher who will help you out if you need it. Attendance isn't required but you always find yourself wanting to go because shes always in a good mood and shes a Babe.

She is honestly one of the best teachers I've ever had. Extremely clear, very helpful, and extra gorgeous. Her exams are extremely fair, and there are never any trick questions, and her quizzes are easy. Very patient, and very understanding. The exams determine your grades because each one is almost 15 percent of your grade. I'd highly recommend he

Goes a little fast at times but she is a great instructor.

Great professor! Explains concepts and curriculum very well. Very helpful and willing to give her time to you after class. Test and quizzes are moderate in difficulty. (comparing to other math teachers like Jenifer.L "hard") Homework is very reasonable, not to much and not to little. Math is not my forte, however, Ms. Stevens makes math fun.

ms stevens is the best math teacher ive ever had. her system of teaching is very organized and easy to follow. i like her system of turning in homework on fridays, her quizzes can bog you down but nothing worth worrying about. i'm making sure i take her for 99

Ahh.. Ms. Stevens is a awesome teacher! I never liked math but she make it so simple and fun. Haven't got an A in math since high school and I think I'm about to get one for once. Tests and Quizzes are quite simple. Just do the homeworks and take notes and you'll ace the class. Wish she teachers PreCalc though. Q.Q

Very patient. Will explain anything if you ask. Before quiz/tests she will let you know what are on the them. If she finds the methods in the books more confusing, she will teach you in her own way, makes it easier on how to solve problems. Very sweet teacher and every attentive.

Ms. Stevens is an excellent teacher! She explains everything very well and is always willing to help you if you're struggling on a concept. Homework is easy and quizzes and tests too if you just do the homework. Took her for Math 098 also and wish I could take her for all my math classes!

I don't see what the big deal is. I had heard about her and frankly I am not that impressed after taking her class. She wasn't that great of a teacher and sometimes she has a very vacant look when you talk to her.

She is ok.Not as great as her ratings. I had better teachers in BCC.

She has a good teaching style for Dyslexic students that struggle with math.

Ms. Stevens was one of the best teachers i have ever had. This is coming from a guy who spent over 3 hrs a day studying for Calc. She is so helpful when ever you approach her, seriously every one worth mentioning in my class would approach her after school for extra help and she would devote an hour or more. She is excellent.

I had Martha for Spring Qtr. Of the 5 math teachers I've had at BC, Martha is by far the very best. She gives you time to write down your notes, her board writing skills are flawless. Everything is very clear. Every single day she made time for me after class for my extra questions. Martha Rocks!

She is beyond excellent, she speaks & writes crystal clear. She constantly checks to make sure everyone understands what she is doing on the board. She uses different colored pens for each step. She is more willing to help students after class than any other instructor. If you do not do well in ?ANY? of Martha classes, it?s not her fault.

Easley, and by far the BEST math Prof at BC. Given the chance, it would be a major misstate not to take a math class from her.

She is very helpful when it comes to not understanding something. Class takes a lot of dedication and effort but i thought she was a very fair grader on the tests and quizzes. She wants everyone to succeed!

Martha is second to none when it comes teaching math. She is also the most helpful instructor outside of class you will find on campus. She is equally fair, firm & consistent with everyone. She genuinely want all of her students to be as good at math as she is & she is the best there is.

Best math teacher I've ever had! She's SO patient, there were kids who would ask the most obvious questions every day and she never got frustrated. I would have sooo easily! I The "sarcasm" thing the other reviewer put isn't completely correct, if she appears that way its just her personality, and I'm sure she doesn't mean it.

This class was great. I took it online. Weekly homework, activities and participation are graded very easily - almost gimme points. The tests are more difficult but if you prepare you should do fine. No extra papers or difficult assignments. I spent on average 4 hours per week in non-test weeks and 8 in test weeks.

She is the best teacher I have ever had. She turned me towards engineering and now I am working towards an electrical engineering degree at UW. Best. Teacher. Ever. It would be a mistake not to take her.

I have taken many different math teachers at BC, she is by FAR my favorite! Crystal clear, answers all your questions, organized, and super sweet. Goes above and beyond to help students who come to her. Go to class everyday and do the homework, you'll ace the class. Seriously wish I could hire her to privately teach every math class I'll ever take.

Martha Stevens is one of the best math teachers at Bellevue college. She goes out of her way to help struggling students. She is very clear in her teaching style, so everyone knows what's up. I wish I could have taken her for all my math classes. Wonderful instructor.

Martha Stevens was the best out of 5 math instructors I had at Bellevue college. She was smart, caring, genuine, articulate, and fair at grading. When I needed extra help outside of class, she was there for me. Yes, I had to study hard, but she got us well prepped for the departmental final exam. A very worthy choice.
