Best teacher I have ever had

The subject matter is a bit dry, she honestly does her absolute best to make it more interesting. But it really is hard to make supply and demand engaging.

She does her best with the material, she's a great econ teacher. She is a bit flakey, but its ok. She is a lot better than some of the other professors.

Great teacher, very helpful if you ask for help. Very friendly and there's only like 7 homeworks to do and you can turn it in late, quick and easy hw. Makes the topic easy to understand.

Stuffler is an awesome teacher! tries to make the subject fun! suuuuper easy class, never really any home work, before the test she tells us every question on it, study the night before ace the test! easy A def recommend her!

Such a cool prof. She's easy. FUNNY! And will go the distance to help you out. She's clear and to the point. Flexible! Her exams are a challenge but she'll help you out before the final!

Very easy classes. Don't miss the test reviews because she basically gives you everything that's on the test. If you miss class get the notes from someone because the test come from the work book. Laid back teacher, very easy.

extremely nice and flexible. awesome lecturer. class is super super easy, and beleive me youll understand this when you move on to 3rd/4rth year of school. whats amazing is 5 years after taking her classes im helping friends who are taking her stuff at IVC, and those are the only 2 econ classes i ever had. by the way im not smart.

Very easy teacher, tells you exactly what is going to be on the test before them. Econ all together is a hard subject, but she makes it easy to learn.

Awsome Teacher!!! I thought she was a great teacher. I am terrible at at reading textbooks and using her textbook made things so much better. You still have to study the material but she tells you whats gonna be on the exams. She is very helpful with questions. I took the 8 week class, was scared at first but I am happy I took her, got an A.

This is the most amazing instructor I have ever taken. She is extremely clear in presenting her material, she is very fair on exams, and is helpful no matter what time of day you need her. She tells you exactly what's on the exam and sticks to it. She wrote her own book so notes are limited, extremely helpful!! I definitely reccommend! I got an A!

Actually I took her for Econ 1, 2, 10...She is the nicest lady ever and she gave me an internship for the Summer....She is super nice and easy and she works with you, there are no actual textbooks used in ECON 1 or 2, don't buy one

Prof. Stuffler is great...very personable and enthusiastic. She makes micro as painless as possible. She uses her own textbook which is all you need. She tends to go a little fast at times and should pace herself better, but this is a minor thing.

You could not ask for a better teacher

Professor Stuffler makes Microeconomics as clear and easy as possible. She lets you know everything that you need for the test beforehand. All the material is clearly layed out in her resource guide, which is all you need. 8 weeks, 3 tests, and a few homework assignments later, and you are done with your micro requirements! A must take!

I took Online Macro Econ. The online quizes are similar to the study guide chapter questions, so there's no reason not to get 100% on the guizes. She gives you a review sheet for stuff that will be tested on the exam. Follow that paper to the T! and you will ace the exam. No reason not to get an A in this class if you read teh textbook.

prof.stuffler is a great prof! she gives out question thats gona be on the test..just study her study guides and u will do fine on the test..take 8 weeks classes..3 tests (including final) and just a few homework assignment..

This teacher is awesome. She has a great personality and teaches with passion =) I've taken every class she's taught at IVC and enjoyed every one! I HIGHLY recommend this teacher.

She is very funny. Very easy going and relax. Doesn't use the textbook in her class at all so don't buy it. You only need the book that she made which cost only $40. Even if you read textbook it will not be helpful. Easy test if you actually go over the notes. She tells you exactly what is on the exam so you there is no reason to fail.

I took her online Econ1 class and there are online quizzes, a midterm and final. The onine quizzes are easy -similar to study guide questions online. And you should be able to do well on the tests if you know the stuff on the review outline. You should get an A or B in the class.

she teaches online and regular classes. i actually recommend regular classes. She really is a good professor and extremely nice. The online course isn't very difficult, but since there is alot of math formulas, it maybe more beneficial to the student to take a regular class with her because both the online and lect. classes are runned the same.

AMAZING TEACHER! Econ is NOT my favorite subject at all, but she makes it easy to learn.. just go to class, pay attention and take notes, and study for the exam and you will deff pass! the reviews before the exam are EXACTLY whats on the exam.. no tricks or surprises on the exam.. her book outlines and explains econ VERY WELL.. TAKE HER! SHES GREAT

Online class is hard. She is really nice and helpful, but her tests require somewhat of a knowledge of her teaching style, which you don't get. It makes the online class really difficult. I would think she is good in actual class, though.

She's great but teaches straight from the book that she wrote.

took her online course, it was great! if you do the weekly assignments you will do fine. practice quizzes and sample tests really help. test reviews were exactly right.

Just finished her online 8 week micro course. It took time, but her tests were fair and she gave us a review that really helped. REALLY LIKED THE FLIEXBILITY SHE GAVE US WITH TAKING TESTS AND QUIZZES.

I took her Econ2 (Macro) class online. It was a lot of work for me to grasp all of the concepts and do well. There are a lot of materials and exercises to help you get through the course, and she is fair with grading and tests/quizzes. My final score was 89.6 and she bumped it up to an A, so I'm happy for that.

Took 2 (3 HOURS LONG) 8-Week classes (ECON1 and ECON2). Very Nice, Helpful, Understanding, Interesting, Current. Our Macro class syllabus was reformed to discuss current economic crisis! I don't know why anyone would take her ONLINE class. I loved her in person and learned a lot of useful information and am now considering changing my major!

awww I love this class! stuffler is one of my favorite teacher's EVER! im in her macro class right now and i was in her micro as well for both 8 week courses. Ha, i didn't do the best. But it seriously is super easy. she gives thorough reviews and if you review the reviews, the tests are super easy. and there is barely any homework. ha, TAKE HER!

The best teacher I have had at IVC! She's makes the class interesting and has a little humor too. I took the 8 week class and we had homework like every other week. Very easy and fun! Take her class and you will not regret it!!

I took the 8 week online Econ 1 class. It was a somewhat difficult class. If you take the online class, you just have to force yourself to sit and read (very hard for me, i have adhd) However I got an A! if you take all the read, take all the pratice tests and know everything that she puts on her exam reviews, then you should get an A

She is VERY nice, and understanding. She is lenient about assignments and homework, and she slows down for difficult material. She doesn't care as much about staying on schedule as making sure people understand the material. I COMPLETELY RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE. I'm taking a night class just to have her as my professor because she is so awesome!!!

A great professor, she enjoys teaching and makes the subject interesting even though its hard and confusing at times but a real easy class if u pay attention. She is always open for questions and is really helpful. I consider her one of the best professors on campus.

Best teacher at IVC

Online. 2 on-campus exams and 6 online quizzes only. Quizzes are open note/book & not timed. Exams aren't too bad, and her study guide lists absolutely everything on test. Tests and quizzes can be taken anytime before a required date at the end of the semester. She's a really nice and very friendly teacher. Only 300 pts: tests-200 & quizzes-100.

ok i took both stuffler for econ 2 and flynn for econ 1 and my conclusion is to take flynn. stuffler mainly focuses on current events which is good if u know econs..but for a person who doesnt know econs (like me) not a gd choice.

Took her for micro, she was the best teacher i've ever had. Extremely helpful, smart, funny, and there's only one textbook/study guide that you use and she wrote it herself and it's super cheap at the bookstore. Pay attention and this class is an easy A, although unlike most easy A's you actually learn a lot. Great course and great teacher!

She's awesome. you'll learn a lot. Attend class and take the notes from the notebook and you will learn and be able to pass the exams. I got an A in both classes! You'll love her! I took her for Macro and Micro

Great teacher, straight-forward but fun. Also very helpful, informative, and fair. If you put in the work you can get an A.

Attendance isn't mandatory but since you have to fill in notes in your book, you have to come every class or you miss those notes. She's a nice teacher and explains the information clearly. Doesn't mind if you're late and is really easy on turning in homework late. You'll easily get an A if you do the work. The homework really helps your grade.

Attendance mandatory because you need to fill workbook with notes which are basically the test. Easy A if you do ALL of the practice questions and one HW worksheet every week.

Took an 8 wk online course. The material itself is very difficult to grasp. Now, mind you, I haven't been in HS for almost 9 yrs so I haven't had any recent exposure to Econ. Professor Stuffler has wonderful resources available including her lifeline videos and exam study guides. I was able to get an A in the course with the extra materials.

If you want to major in Econ, TAKE HER CLASS!not easy, but you learn things.She uses txtbook that she made;very helpful!!about $40.you study by filling in the blanks. Very kind, helpful, approachable professor. She tells us interesting stories of her travels around the world. I took her 8 week Econ 1 class, so it was pretty fast paced. Just don't miss a class and take notes, then you'll do fine in her class. She also wrote her own textbook, so she is very knowledgable. Highly recommended.

If there's one thing I can tell you, it's this: make her textbook like your bible. Her book is the key to acing the class. Record her study sessions, and play them back later, and look for them in the book, and you'll ace the class. But you have to put in the work to get the A. She's fair, and a charismatic teacher. I liked her a lot. Take her!

I had Stuffler for the 8 week econ 1 class & she is an amazing instructor. She wrote her own economics resource guide which is all you need. She is so understanding w/ her students & is willing to help any way she can in class or office hours. No econ class is easy, but she gives u great test reviews before the test to get an A. MUST TAKE HER!!

She is very straight forward. As long as you follow her syllabus and work on her reviews, you'll get an A.

Easy class and caring teacher with good intentions but her class is a mess. Time will be wasted and she is not strict with how students should behave in class which is annoying when half the class thinks their a genius and likes to hear the sound of their own voice. Don't take her class if your looking to learn how to do economics. I feel cheated.

I took her 16 week online course. She is a friendly woman, but I really don't like how her grading is. There are two exams worth 100 points each, and then 6 quizzes worth a total of 100 points. Those 300 points determine your whole grade. I had no problems with the exams, but the quizzes were very stressful to me and brought down my 94% exam avg.

8 week econ1 class. I'm an international student. She's chill. Tests are not that easy, but if you study hard you can get more than 85 points. Easy B, try hard and you'll get an A.

Awesome online class. All the coursework is posted at the beginning, so you can finish the whole class in a month if you want. Study guide covers everything on the tests. 15 pts extra credit/test so ended with a high A. Tests can be taken at any time during the semester. No time limit on quizzes so take as long as you want. Highly recommend it.

I loved her. Everything is clear and easy. she makes the class interesting and time fly's. There are only 3 tests. no midterm. no final. You don't need the textbook only the resource guide. all the notes and in there and the homework.

Even though I took an online class, there were a lot of resources that she provided to help the class learn more efficiently. She would post videos on how to analyze graphs and what not and they were not difficult to follow. The study guides she provides are actually helpful for exams unlike some other professors.

Class was extremely long and boring but good teacher. If you get stuck on something, she won't have a problem explaining it again for you. Super helpful and understanding. You don't need to buy the textbook but you need to buy the one that she writes herself. It'll save your life! Test based on her notes. If you study the notes, you'll get an A.

8 week class was worth it. The classes are super long and a lot of notes to write, but can be fun sometimes. The tests are a little complicated but easy A if you study, she gives you a good study guide for it. The textbook it self has no use at all, but the $40 notebook she made herself is a must have. Showing up to class is essential for notes.

She's the best! I am a Biochem student, but I have to say I like Econ so much better after 8 wks of her online class. She is very very understanding and helpful! There is no way to not get A++ if you read the book and her ppt. And the videos she posted, OMG, were extremely helpful, so clear, so easy to understand! She is very caring, too!

Absolutely loved Prof. Stuffler. Took Econ in high school and it was a terrible experience so I wasn't expecting to like this class at all. Pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed her lectures because everything is super clear. She'll clarify anything that you don't understand so don't be afraid to ask. Tests aren't too long and she goes over it

This class was super convenient. the work expected is clear. grade is based on 6 quizzes, 1 midterm, and 1 final. If you do your reading and studying you'll do good in this class.
