I would not say he's the best teacher but trust me, there's no one better than he is. Now you do the thinking for yourself. It's unbelievable that someone will make you look forward to Bio of all classes.

Very clear and precise. Make sure to study the entire chapter because sometimes he will add stuff to the test that is in the chapter, but he did not review with the class. Overall, he is a very good professor. Highly recommended.

great teacher.he makes his lectures clear and easy but his tests are difficult. you really have to know your stuff. very approachable and friendly. one of the best at ecc. one advise- i found the powerpoint handouts to be confusing (other classmates said the same) so try to focus on the text- but maybe its just me? its been a pleasure mr. willy!!

He knows the subject matter, I really enjoyed his teachings, he explains things clearly and makes sure that students understands what the subject is all about before moving to the next subject. I had this professor for sum 1 2007 he is the best you can have for A&P extremely helpful to students,I really enjoyed the way he teached and learned a lot I wish he was teaching A&P2.

This professor is really "irie" meaning nice. He is the best bio teacher at essex because he is very knowledgeable to the topic. I had a professor before him and I did not comprehend most of what he taught because he was boring,and complicated. This professor made me understood biology with ease, just study and the A is yours.

Highly recommended.It is true that he has very heavy accent,but you will get used to it after one month or lesser.Believe me take his class.

I just had Professor Asobayire in April 2012 for Bio 121. I recommend this professor to any who wants to learn. You can pass the class by attending regularly, ask questions because he has no problems answering, take good notes during lectures, read chapters for reinforcement, In his class any grade given is definitely earned!

He has a great personality and is very smart. but his tests are Ridiculuous. His chapter 5 exam will have stufffrom chapters 5 and 6and 7 before you learn it. JUst rad the book yourself. He clarifies things very well but have your questions preapred before lecture.

He is a good professor and very nice person, but his tests are very difficult. They are form tests and do not come from the book used in class. He curves his grades. I did learn in this class, but I wish I learned more and did not rush through material because time was running short.

Prof. Asobayire was overall a good teacher, ("Say Yes!"). Although he does have an accent, I'd advice you to not sit in the back of class. Tests are not from book and his review is bits and pieces of the test, but doesn't give you everything so don't rely on it too much. If you need help though, he will clarify it the best he can :).

Prof Martin is the best. He knows what he is teaching and very fair with grades. There is no way you will fail his class, unless your lazy. His test are easy. Just read the PowerPoint and test review. In fact , he really needs to be raced.

Professor Martin Asobayire is a very professor very organize and net he strict but you will learn he always cares for his student and he always to make sure that all his student are passing the class. Martin Asobayire is a very wonderful teacher. I enjoyed taking his class. I defiantly will take his class again. This professor is a hidden gem. He's available and always willing to help. Lectures are never boring and he always makes sure that he gets the material across without it seeming like it's too much or too difficult. I HIGHLY recommend Professor Asobayire to those taking AP or Bio 102(summerII). Chestnut isn't the only one with an insane waitlist. ;)

I wish he taught bio122 for summer I. 7 tests drops the lowest. Tests are not easy but he does take that in consideration. My average grade was low C and he gave me a B. Very understandable. Great professor!

One of the BEST professors I have had for anatomy and physiology. He teaches and relates the lecture to daily life. He gives take home tests when the class is struggling. If you study, you will excel in his class. The only thing I will say is that he never sends you the powerpoints from the lectures. Other than that, he is amazing.

He is one of the best biology professors here! He makes biology easy to learn and his lectures are clear and easy to understand! His quizzes are not difficult at all as long as you pay attention, take notes, and ask questions if you dont understand.

He is absolutely amazing. He definitely works with you! He does have an accent so pay attention and sit in the front. If you do not understand something, speak up. The exams are a bit wonky sometimes, questions on there that we did not cover but once again speak up. Does not follow the order of PowerPoint slides, youtube and google is your friend

Easy A if you put in the work. If you are doing nursing I suggest you read alot on your own. You may pass and still not learn.

Professor Asobayire is by far the best professor I've had at Essex. I passed with an A+ for in person bio 121. he gave amazing lectures and was very clear despite his accent. He's a little soft spoken sometimes so make sure you sit in the front for your own sake. It's easy to take clear notes with him and he does fun projects and is respectable.
