Hilarious! Makes class fun and entertaining! I love how he laughs. Goes a little crazy on the amount of homework, but is very helpful when we need it. I will miss him after this semester.

Great help in office hours! Always easy to approach. Very intellegent and wise.

Definitely knows the material and likes to teach it. Is helpful outside of class. If you attend class, take notes, and DO ALL OF THE HOMEWORK you will have an easy time in this class. Exams are straight out of homework.

Excellent prof. Notes are crystal clear and very well organized. Very helpful too. I recommend him for any math class. One thing is that I wish he would bring back his old homework sheets. The book work doesn't taylor his notes well.

Lectures are very clear, with him saying something off the wall to bring your focus back to the subject. If you take good notes and understand the steps on the example problems, then the tests will not be difficult.

Very interesting and funny. Explains material very clearly-I understood it from his explaination and didn't use the book for anything but hw problems. Anyone who doesn't like him is smoking meth. Also, he grades tests VERY promptly. Sometimes he had grades online 1-2 hours after the test ended.

Excellent teacher. Allot of fun to be in class with. VuOng is a great recitation instructor. If you do the homework before recitation and study for the tests you will get an A in the class.

He was a fantastic teacher. I went into Calc 2 thinking it would be hard, but he was awesome on the first day and taught very well and clear. I would recommend him to anyone. I just wish he taught more classes.

Best math teacher I've had at UMR. Explains very well, extremely enthusiastic, grades tests within hours, gives free cookies in study sessions before exams. My class's test averages were ~20 points above the worst calc II class (taught by another professor); definitely sign up for Bohner's class!

Dr. Bohner really knows what he is talking about. He is very helpful if you have any questions at all. It is a difficult class, but it is definitely manageable if you work hard and do the homework.

Dr. Bohner is a great professor. He works to help you understand the material and learns every student's name in a 120ish person lecture. Also he tries to lighten things up by making little jokes in his lecture. If you want a great professor he is the one to have. Enjoy!

he has a good sense of humour and always make math fun to learn. he cares a lot about the students comprehension and he take it to the most significant detail about the students. he even knows the student's name without checking a roster.

At first I thought Dr. Bohner was a tool. After I came to know him better and appreciate his sense of humor, I found him to be an interesting character that was fun to be around. He's by the book, no extra points for effort, what you get is what you've worked for so you know what to expect. I hope to see him teaching my advanced calculus courses.

He's a very understandable teacher,however his TA was horrible!I understood everything in lecture,but when it came time to the quizzes given in recitation,they were nothing like we had discussed in class.I am going to end up with a good grade,but go to every class because he takes away points for absenses and there are clicker points. Have fun!

Amazing professor. Very lenient, but he can be strict about certain things. Tests are straightforward, not "off-the-wall" tests like in some classes.

Dr. Bohner is the epitome of a great teacher. He helps if you ask for it, and the class has consistent structure (i.e no surprises). He tries to help everyone be in a position to at least pass too. Overall, he's highly recommended.

The quizzes and tests come straight from the homework, same numbers and everything, no surprises. The final comes from previous quiz and test problems. He posts the answers to quizzes and tests, which is useful for studying. Downside is that crib sheets aren't allowed, so it is up to you to remember all the formulas.

The material learned in this class was difficult but easier than taking 217. The tests were composed of 5 problems, each one being one of the homework problems we were assigned in class.

Was an amazing teacher. Straight up said yeah this theorem is BS and wont be on the test, so we wont learn it and waste your time. Had TONS of examples and was very good at explaining everything. Tried to be very personable and made sure his students were taken care of. Probably the best math teacher ive had at S&T.

Very clear expectations, but be ready to show up to every single class. Lectures fly by, and the material is difficult but not impossible, especially if you take decent notes. He's very willing to go over concepts multiple times if necessary, in and out of class. Fairly engaging, and makes jokes occasionally. He's your typical quirky math teacher!

Dr. Bohner is an amazing professor that is very good at explaining problems. He provides lots of examples and makes the material as simple as possible. Dr. Bohner is one of the few gems of the S&T Math department. Be prepared to record his lectures, as he won't do it for some reason. It's very helpful for a class like this especially because examples are important and lectures are heavy. Accent isn't bad, but it's present. Won't waste your time and will tell you what's on the exams. Very nice guy.

It's obvious that Dr. Bohner enjoys interacting and helping his students. Only about half of the examples he demonstrates are helpful for understanding the material, and the other half serve only to confuse due to their complexity. Overall, a very knowledgeable and easy-going instructor.

I didn't really pay attention in Dr. Bohner's class, but the material was pretty easy to understand, and his reviews were very helpful. I love this guy's sense of humor, and the way he teaches.

Dr. Bohner was a phenomenal professor, probably the best I will ever have. Plenty of my friends at other universities were struggling immensely with Calc II, however I felt like it was a cakewalk and that is undoubtedly because of Dr. Bohner's outstanding knowledge and incredible comprehensiveness.
