prof bookbinder is fun. his tests are easy. he doesnt let the class get bored.he is like a news channel because he is up-to-date on all current events. an asset to PCCC. u go prof!

Had him for Economics & U.S. History back in 91 & 92. Extremely knowledgeable of both these subjects. Great impersonations of FDR & LBJ. Gave a thorough study guide with no surprises on exams. Only beef: Why a Washington Redskins fan???

good teacher, hard to follow sometimes, gives you all terms on test, be sure to look at what he gives you in the begining of class.

I had him for Political Science and I thought he was brilliant! I've never met anyone with such a vast understanding and love of politics (and also the ability to make it interesting). In my opinion, he's one of the PCCC greats.

This guy rocks. Tests are tough. I love it when he gets mad about stuff that is wrong in the world. He makes political jokes and is hilarious. Yeah he talks about sports alot but I hate sports, and I don't mind. He usually ties it into the lecture to help you understand politics better. Anytime there is disagreement he looks up the correct answer on the internet. I wish i was in his class right now, give this guy a raise please, we need more teachers like this... there he is now I'm gonna go shake his hand

I now go to william paterson but I did enjoy his class at passaic county. Knows his stuff, and made people laugh. He though he is a diehard republican he still repsects other people's point of view. Does his best to answer questions.

As a police officer and Iraqi War veteran, it's good to have a fair teacher who is pro cop and pro military. He always summarizes the pros and cons. He welcomeas all views.

As an RN, I came to PCCC to take microecon for a graduate degree. Dr. Bookbinder was the instructor; he is intersting, informed and a true intellectual; he's as good as any 4 year instructor. This was a great learning experience even though many of my classmates are not ready for college.

Took EC101 and EC102 over the summer. Class was very interesting. If you didn't pass the class you obviously didn't study. You basically know the topics and possible questions for all your tests on the 1st day of class! As long as you study the study guides give this class should be easy...!

I took macro as a free elective because of Dr. Bookbinder's excellent reputation; he is great. The best part is the discussions on economic issues.

Compared to Rutgers and Bergen, the instructors at PCCC are great. Dr. Bookbinder is one of the best. I enjoyed his class.

Dr. Bookbinder is this conservative, wise older man with a good sense of humor. He is not an Einstein, but a Bookbinder, lol (that is a joke, even though he is as brilliant if not more than Einstein). His name sounds Jewish (and maybe it is), but he is Catholic. My kind of professor!

Microeconomics is tough. Nobody gets an A unless he does the work. Dr. Bookbinder is not intersted in excuses, but he is too hard on us; he thinks we're at Yale. I still like him and the class; he wants you to pass.

If you want to learn take his class, if you want an easy A, don't bother. The class is hard but study the guides and you will be fine. No cell phones and be sure to write in complete sentences.

I'm now at WPC and I'm glad Dr Bookbinder was my teacher; he taught good study habits, and he is demanding which helps here. A lot of PCCC instructors are good, too. WPC is too big.

I had Bookbinder for Economics 1&2 and his class was by far one of the most interesting classes I've taken. He keeps you interested and the work is just the right amount. Make sure you read though or you ultimately will fail.

This professor is hilarious, but you need to be able to take notes very fast some kind of short-hand skills will be very useful or get a voice recording because he talks fast.The class is not hard but you need to pay attention to what he talks concerning politics cause you will find those questions on the exam and they ARE NOT on the book.

Great prof. Works you to the bone but gives you all the material necessary. Brush up on your writing skills before taking his class. You'll need it!!

What can I say? Intersting, demanding. I enjoyed the use of the computer for reviews; great discussions on touchy topics. Even thoug it is a free elective for me, take the class.

I LOVED his Intro to law class. He's entertaining. His tests are easy & his paper is easy too (Everyone is in college so everyone should be able to write a decent college paper with citations & all). He does not give any notes so jot down what he mentions and go back and be familiar with the material. AND study!!!

Professor Dr. Martin Bookbinder grades you on 4 things: 1) Test 1 2) Test 2 3) Paper 4) Final Exam *He adds up the four and divides it by four and that's your final grade! Talks a lot about history; loves politics; REPUBLICAN; usually the class before the tests he reviews. Go over the study guides!

Professor Bookbinder is the man, this was my first economics course I've ever taken and I learned so much! He explains his topics thoroughly and for the most part his study guides and everything he writes down on the board is pretty straight forward. The essays on his test are worth the most points so study hard and you'll get a good grade.

Great professor, the only problem is the fill in the blanks on his test, they are completely impossible to do besides that he is very funny and makes the class less boring (for an economics class obviously)

Professor Bookbinder is a great lecturer! Youre definitely better off in his class if you read chapters beforehand. His tests are tough if you dont know your terms. Have a list of terms and make sure you know your current events! He is a really nice Professor, do your work though.

Make sure you take notes. Tests are based on some definitions 3 short answer questions, and 1 essay question. He also gives extra credit at the end of each test. Your whole grade will be based on 3 tests and a research paper. Hes lectures are entertaining, easy to learn
