Great teacher! really does care about the wellbeing of all of his students! I wish he taught more classes!

Professor Tawil is very helpfu;l and is pleasant to be around. I had him for Special Topics and I'll also have him for Classroom Management this Fall 2011.

I've enjoyed his class. He has been very entertaining and informative. He has allowed extended deadlines to allow students to excel. The class is worth the money just to see him perform. He believes in using higher order learning / testing which helps your grades... :)

The was a Classroom MGMT course, and he modeled the concept extremely well in our classroom. Emphasized APA writing of required papers. Allowed to redo work for better grade.

Easiest class you will ever take in college. Make sure you do all the jornals. COME TO CLASS! Take pictures of all the F.Y.E events. You will need it for a project later.He loves class discussions. Directions were not always clear and sometimes and confusing. In the end great professor with knowledgeable advice!

Dr. Tawil is an EXCELLENT professor. He's a cool guy that truly cares about his students, and if you have a personal question or issue, he is always there to listen, lend advice, and jump right in if he can to help you with anything. If there were half as many other professors like him, college would be such a different experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Comparing to Dr. G is pointless if you've never taken her SLS class. They are both great instructors and have their own styles. Dr. Tawil and Dr. G both rock the SLS class!

Dr. Tawil is a great professor. His Cornerstone class is a lot of fun. Don't waste your money on the book, we never used it. Some of the other students said it did help with their journals, but I got an A on all of them without the book. Show up for class (Attendance is 20% of your grade) and do the work and you will pass.

He always provides fun lectures. There is no final in the Cornerstone class. There is only a final essay. Do NOT get the textbook it is useless. Just do your journal entries,attend class,and GPS. You will be guaranteed an A. I wish he taught other classes. He taught me important life skills that changed my life.

Dr. Twail was an excellent teacher! I would not reccomand any teacher but him for this course. DO NOT PURCHASE THE BOOK!!! He is hilarious and very inspirational

Dr. Tawil truly is an amazing professor. In his Freshman class he didn't just teach the usual college freshman crap but he gives you real and highly helpful advice that you can use throughout all your life. He is very inspirational and also hilarious. He is always there for his students to. He makes that class actually worthwhile going to.

Professor Tawil was by far one of my best professors this semester. Overall from my experience I feel like he was straight forward with every assignment. Journals, GPS, Final Essay, Group Project, Attendance, & your Critical Thinking skills is all you need to pass this class. If you are a person who wants an easy A this is the professor for you.

Dr. Tawil was a great professor. He will help with anything a student has questions about and he genuinely cares. His lectures are lengthy, but if you really listen, it's great life advice. This is my first semester in college.. Easy class. Never use a book. Glad I picked him over all the other SLS proffesors. He also gives great advice. If you guys have to take Cornerstone get Tawil!! You wont regret it.

He is an awesome teacher had him for a 9am class on a Monday morning, good guy learned life lessons! Don't try and tell him the NFL is not rigged he is good at making you laugh and learn!

Great professor! Very funny and honest. One of the best professors I've ever had. He has helped me with pursing my degree more than my academic adviser has. Really enjoy going to his class. The assignments are easy but also very interesting and eye opening. I would take any class he that he teaches. I could definitely see that he loves his job.

Class was super fun and easy. He's very helpful if you ask questions and makes everything clear. Attendance is a grade so show up. You would have to work really hard to fail his class. He basically gives you everything you need to know.

Fun Class! Time consuming bc its kind of a highschool class which you have to attend in order to pass docent matter if you are or arn't going to do anything. Its easy not to go to class bc all you do is class discussion. Grades consist of attendance, journals, group project, essay. You just have to be involved!

This class was very entertaining. It was very chill and we discussed for most of it. We didn't do much work except for Journal Entries that were for homework about every 2 weeks. He honestly loves what he does and makes it enjoyable to be there. I wish I could take him again, but SLS is the only class he teaches. 100 percent recommend!

Going into this class I expected it to be extremely boring and uninteresting. I turned out to be completely wrong. Dr. Tawil's class gave a whole new view on life. I learned life lessons that I could've only learned with experience and if Dr. Tawil taught any other classes I'd sign up in a heartbeat.

I recommend this teacher for Cornerstone. He's very funny, interesting lectures and very helpfully with picking out your true career in life. There's not much homework, just make sure you come to class because it does count as a grade. Other than that this course will be an easy A.

Awesome professor and super funny. He's very easy to talk to and really wants the best for his students and for them to succeed. Be prepared for a semester long campus project and a group project as well, plus weekly critical thinking journals. He's very clear on what he expects and if you show up to class and put forth effort, an A is NOT hard.

Dr. Tawil was the best! I had him for the blended Cornerstone class, and as long as you turned everything in and put in effort, this was an easy course. His lectures and activities were always entertaining, and he made Cornerstone a meaningful and enjoyable class. He truly gave me motivation to make my life my own.

Grading is super easy, you have to try extremely hard to fail this class. Word of advice, buy only the access code and not the book. we never even used it. Some of the lectures are really cool and some really draw out. Easy class. There's no way you'd get less than a B.

Great professor, would love to take him again, he has a great personality and super funny. Only reason I didnt get an A is because I didnt complete things on time. He does take off a lot of points for late work and counts attendance as 20%. But veryyyy easy assignments and overall an easy class that i didnt mind going to.

Accounting is a very hard class. He was fair and understanding during this semester. There are a lot of assignments and you need to keep up with the work. I studied a lot to pass the course. I like numbers to this class was good for me. Tawil is a very nice teacher and cares.

The class was online. Mr tawil offered help sessions online. the class is difficult and I had spent so much time on homework and tests. the grades are fair. if you do the homework, quizzes, tests, and projects you do okay in the class. accounting is not my best subject and I passed it.

Dr. T is great! he is flexible and understanding. I tested + for COVID and he helped me turn assignments in late for a full grade. I will take the next accounting class with him for sure.

This class was alot of work but I learned so much. I spend several hours a week working on the class. He provided a study sheet for the final. He was flexible to my needs.

I took this course in a mini-b session and it was relatively easy. He states clear instructions for assignments and discussions to receive full credit. However, when it comes to the tests be prepared to write at least 2-3 short answers that he will grade after the multiple-choice sections are submitted.

I took sls 1301 as a mini summer class and it was a very easy course, not too much work, and professor Tawil responds back to emails either that same day or within the next two days. I would highly recommend him.

I had Dr. Martin Tawil for my Managerial Accounting class, and he has been amazing. While the work may be tough, he provides honest feedback and responds promptly to any questions his students may have.

Took his class for financial and managerial account for the past few semesters and overall I learned a lot between the two classes. Homework was straightforward and the quizzes related to the homework. Classes were difficult but the professor responded to any questions I had regarding assignments.

You definitely have to put a lot of effort in this class. The grading is mostly homework and quizzes.

Definitely do your homework in this class because of a lot of your grade depends on it, but it is definitely not too much homework. You get one homework assignment a week with around 12 questions as well as either one quiz for the chapter(with 10 questions) or a section test (with 20 questions). The class was asynchronous.

Professor Tawil clears up any misunderstandings and has quick response times. I liked the class structure of just reading and completing your weekly homework and quizzes.

The online material and resources Prof Tawil offered were very helpful. He not only does video lectures, but he also has resources like interactive slideshows, solution walkthroughs, and other videos relating to each chapter. The interactive slideshows were the most helpful for my learning type because I struggle watching videos/reading textbooks.

I took Dr. Tawil's SLS 1350 Summer-B class so I could catch up on my credits. Overall this was a super easy class. The assignments aren't that hard, they're usual a weekly discussion post and a short report. He responds to emails pretty quickly and will help you if you need it. If you are looking for a easy class for credits, take this class!
