Nice professor who is very well read on history and knows what he is talking about. Take his course; you'll learn a lot and get a good grade.

For tests he allows a notecard that can very easliy fit eveything that is on the test. He knows how to make history feel as if it was in the present.

He is very clear about the amount oftime and effort he wants students to put forth from the beginning. Please follow his rules to get an A. In the online class you have to log in everyday and post a good message on the borad.

HE is the best teacher I have ever had, not becasue the classes was easy, you got to work for your grade, but you can tell he loves teaching. Hes lecture are clear and to the point, he make history intersting, and keeps you awake and wanting more!

He jokes around a lot and can be a lot of fun. If you really like history, he has a very interesting approach and he can challeng you. My only complaint is he is terrible about passing back papers and tests. If you're looking for easy don't take him.

Mr. Ennis is not only a professor...he's a historian and a comic. He loves teaching and it shows. His lectures and teaching methods succeed in involving the entire class. He is structured as far as attendance and tardiness.

i was scared to take his class at first because i've always got low C's in history. however, in his class i got an A! I hardly ever read the book. just pay attention in class and study the blackboard notes. he practically tells you what's on the test. did i mention he was a comedian!

Mr. Ennis is easily sidetracked, which may be a relief for those of you who don't enjoy history. The class is as easy as they come. You would have to work really hard to fail his class... he tells you everything that you will need to know. If you're looking for a challenge, I don't recommend!!

Marty is great. He's funny and approachable. All you have to do is show up and pay attention. He isn't really hard, he just expects you to know the material. There aren't a lot of people left in the world that are quite like Marty. I don't like history, but I can actually say I like this class.

This man is a character. Probably the funniest, most random teacher I have ever had. The quizes and tests are so easy(he tells you what is on the tests, and the rest is on major issues he covers. You do not need the cd for the class. Be on his good class, and do not have an accent! Good Teacher.

Ennis knows his material and teaches it so you can understand it. He uses humor to teach, but it does not take away from the class, it adds to it! Just pay attention and you will be fine.

There are only 3 test in the whole class, but he tells you EXACTLY what will be on the test and he is very clear as to what he wants. He is also very interesting and keeps you entertained. Overall if you pay attention you will pass easily!

One of the few college professors on campus that expects the best from his students. He doesn't take crap and you will have to study hard to pass. So if you're a slacker, you won't make it. He's a very practical smart man who knows his history and applies it to today. He is also very helpful if you need it. He makes history very interesting.

Knows his stuff. Bases lectures off of powerpoint so take down what is on the slides and you should be good. Tests are very short answer (just a sentence or 2 per question). Takes the class way too serious considering how basic the class is. Gets repetitive, lots of doom and gloom lectures usually about how lazy people are trash and how horrible the real world is. Mr. Ennis is one of the funniest teachers I've had. He is also very passionate about history, and it shows. Three exams, and as many as three quizzes. The quizzes use short-answer questions, where as you'll need to be more detailed and thorough in your exam answers. He repeats himself rather often during his lectures, but he explains material well.

Professor Ennis truly knows his history. He takes a different approach to teaching a normally info heavy subject by making it connect to you personally. He gives 3 tests and 2 quizzes all semester with no essays, although his tests are all written instead of multiple choice. ATTENDANCE IS ABSOLUTELY MANDATORY, AND DON'T YOU DARE BE LATE TO CLASS.

Ennis is an outstanding professor in the summer; however, in the longer semesters, he tends to ramble more and neglect to give you hints about which questions will be on tests. He's hilarious and passionate about what he teaches, but he is more diligent in his summer classes. You'll need your textbook only to refine your answers to test questions

Ennis made history interesting, I always looked forward to his class. I wish I needed to take modern history because I really enjoyed his lectures & I learned so much(use flashcards/a lot to remember) There is about 3 test and quizzes. Despite the pandemic, I even enjoyed his class more online! He put a lot of effort into getting our class up and running quickly. Despite being outside of a traditional classroom, his lectures still entranced me. Prof. Ennis had few homework assignments, and based his quizzes and tests mostly on his lectures while using the reading for background.

Its shocking how many people cant function when the professor doesnt give you a multiple choice test. There are no papers, no getting into groups to talk, just him lecturing on the exact material that will be on the test. The tests are short answer and he will give you credit for any info you put down. My favorite professor

Lectures are funny and well planned, better to watch live. He gives amazing feedback on papers and as long as you can write and get your facts correct you will pass. I highly recommend.

Great structure (despite the difficulty of online classes), absolutely hilarious with interesting lectures. He always gave me great feedback on writing assignments, and I always felt comfortable going into assignments. Strict grading while being simultaneously laid back, always offered extra credit. Looking forward to taking another class with him.
