Seems like a fun guy. But as a professor, he fails miserably. Barely though us anything regarding the actual class, and spends too much time talking about his own experiences, which he repeats over and over again... its almost predictable. Also, you must buy the book from the sources of his choosing, meaning you can't save by renting the book.

Irresponsible and confusing are the two words Id use to describe him. He doesnt teach anything related to the class and sometimes will teach false information (such as saying that Ireland is a part of the UK). Will often not follow up on his announcements and then blame the students for not reading his (unclear) instructions.

As others have said, he almost never teaches from the book and focuses on repeating his stories and real life "experience". He is very hard to communicate with, dismissive, and unhelpful. He gets angry when you email him to clarify important things that he makes very unclear and confusing in his many announcements. One of the worst courses ive had.

honestly, hes not the worst teacher ever, but he is definitely the worst i have had. doesnt teach and gives us very ambiguous information which makes the class 10x harder than it should really be.

Easy A but annoying. Thinks too highly of himself and isn't aware of the material he is teaching outside his personal experience. Very lazy when it comes to putting in grades. Punished many classes due to the fact that his questions/answers were found online. His punishment was giving a test multiple chapters ahead for a grade.

I was often lost in his class because hes very confusing. Also not a very active grader... Finally, I see a lot of people here talking about his real life experience but sometimes I think hes lying, such as when he said that in Brazil they had a siesta which is just false

Be prepared not to know what your grade is until the last day grades are due. And dont try to reach out about anything cause hell be short and rude about it. Dont expect him to care about how his poor preparedness reflects on your grades because in his words (in which he yelled at us btw) your GPA is not my problem

He does not teach and you will be learning a lot from the Textbook because during his lecture he talks mostly about his own life experiences. It does get interesting but then becomes very repetitive. Thinks too highly of himself.

He's extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. In class, you don't learn anything at all. He only capable of talking about his accomplishments and travels, but refuses to see his short comings. He told our class that "our GPA is not his issue" and whenever you try to email him, he would be rude about it. He's a terrible professor and I hated it.

Professor Brittingham is a good speaker and has meaningful experiences to share with the class. As others have said, he would rather brag about his accomplishments than teach the class. He creates rules/standards for the class that are not in his syllabus, nor are they the department standard.

He doesn't really lecture, instead he reads powerpoints word for word. He gets off topic a lot and talks about his past a lot. He cares about his students but he doesn't really teach anything. You're going to have to rely on the book for everything.

This man is easily the worst professor I've had so far. His idea of "teaching" was reading off slides composed of gigantic blocks of text and bragging about his supposed million-dollar company (which he conveniently did not name). He claimed to have caught a single student sharing exam answers and punished our entire class. He was arrogant at best.

do not even bother emailing him, or asking him questions via email. He is a lousy professor, and he is incredibly rude and self centered.

Brittingham is the lousiest professor who preaches about communication and being professional, but he lacks both of them himself. Cant email you back a grammatically correct email that has no typos and wont even respond to your question. He doesnt follow the syllabus he preaches & loves to talk about himself and his successful consulting firm!!!

As many others have said, Professor Brittingham is incredibly rude and self-centered. While the course is easy enough as everything is done online , he has a tendency to pick on students, going as far as to embarrass them purposefully during lectures. He will constantly change syllabus standards, and don't bother emailing him for any reason.

Lectures are not helpful for the class at all. Cengage exams 50 minutes for 50 questions, no returning to questions, one and next. He didn't know. Spoonfed him the few instructions to fix it. He did nothing and says he worked with IT. He stacks several chapters and exams one week ahead of the syllabus schedule that he has to follow, but didn't.

He says to come, but I never showed up to class and still got an A lol, thats how useless his lectures are. If you can read you'll be fine. This teacher has hard comprehension skills and fails to respond to emails in an appropriate manner. The grade is easy to get, but dealing with this socially disrespectful and irritating professor was worse!!

I will warn you, this class is an easy A or B, but the rage and frustration you will deal with in communicating with this professor almost makes it not worth it. Professor is unprofessional and rude in his communications with students. If you have any bump in the road in this course and look to him for guidance expect him to be unhinged.

The real problem with Brittingham is that he has no communication skills whatsoever. Talking to him is like talking to a brick wall. If you need to ask a question, expect to have to ask it at least 3 different ways so it can get through his thick skull. Also I'm positive he doesn't read the case studies at all.

This dude will not answer a single email you send him in a normal amount of time, and when he does get around to it you best bet it will be a 1-3 word response (with typos) that you have decypher. You don't have to show up to class so that's cool.

He did not go over the course material in the lectures. Instead, he would have classroom discussions that had no correlation to the material we were tested on. Posts the slideshows online, so you can just read it there. Cared for his students, but did not teach them. Had to teach myself all of the material. Would not recommend him.

Don't take him! You get nothing out of his lectures so you pretty much have to teach yourself. Exams make up 60% of your grade and they're in person. If you don't teach yourself, get ready to drop the class. He's also rude if you email him to ask a question.

Easy course, only had lecture once a week, we were always behind schedule due to this. Only really talked about himself and his life, did not really teach much. Super easy class but he was all over the place, exams online, made us write a few papers, and i did not learn anything lol. Kind of a waste of time, but overall super easy A if you try.

The lecture is not needed, due to it being a powerpoint which is in canvas. This course is heavily reliant upon reading. This professor also loves to talk about himself and acts like his opinion is correct. He gets very political, and it is not needed and adds no substance to the course. He is awful to listen to. I would not take this professor.

Learned more about his adventures in Nokia than the actual subject. He never reviewed for exams except for his final 10 minute review day where he gave us chpts to study for, just for the exam to be 95% of the other chpts that weren't included. He said the exam will be t/f ,y/n questions, then proceeded to not have A SINGLE ONE.

Don't take him or just take the class at a community college. You'll spend your time just teaching yourself the content because he only spends one class period, which is about 30 minutes, "teaching" each chapter. He's not that great of a communicator and he likes to have everything his way. 0/5 would recommend.

Has to be to be one of the worst professors. An older man who's stuck in his ways and seems as if his head is above the clouds. Attendance for him is mandatory & a grade for some reason? Also he uses 2 diff gradebooks. When you email him with a question, he belittles you and types in all caps as if he's shouting. All the work is online & very easy

I am a motivated student, but this class was a waste of time and money. The professor's lectures were rushed and unfocused, exams didn't match the material, and you'll end up teaching yourself the whole course, just like I did! I would choose any other professor.

Poor lectures, went off on side tangents constantly. Most of the learning was done thru the online resource so there is no point in coming to class. He changed the syllabus atleast 5 times and he doesnt put instructions on assignments instead refers you to the syllabus. He puts people down for asking questions. Changed his calendar many times.

I'm laughing my butt off at these ratings, if you want an easy class.. take Prof. Brittingham!!!! He is just an older guy who's very stern, but literally all the assignments & tests are online. HOW CAN YOU FAIL???
