A great teacher to have . Super friendly cares about his students. You take a lot of notes off the overhead but come test time it pays off you will get A's! He's awesome!

mr. mckee is really excited about astronomy and his style shows it. he does offer a bit of extra credit and if you can, go out to look at the sky. he is really helpful if you show the need and i love the red sweater. :)

McKee is a fantastic guy. Hell - I accidentally came to class on final exam day late, as in the last 5 minutes (oops!). McKee allowed me to come with him and complete my exam while he graded other students' work. Try getting that from someone like McGuff.

mckee is awesome. hes such an awesome guy. notes right off the overhead and if you're there to get them, the tests are sooo easy. you learn alot, plus he adds a couple jokes in every day(Corny, but the class laughs) take him and you wont regret it.

His test for the most part are very easy and his classes are amusing. He gives out fun extra credit exercises.

As sweet as his sweater is red! I admire any teacher that instills in his students the same passion and interest he has for the subject and he really does. Come to class, take notes, and go out to look at the stars with him. Its very interesting and worth the points.

professor mckee is the****. he is one of the coolest professors here at tcc, especially if you're into astronomy. he makes the subject very easy and absolutely amazing - go look at the stars with him! go to class, copy notes, study them, get As on your tests and paper. i wish there was another ast!

What can I say, I agree with everyone here. He's one of the best instructors at TCC, very knowledgeble and tells the craziest stories. Even if you hate astronomy, you'll still enjoy the class. This guy alone was worth taking honors classes. He must have a closet full of red sweaters or something.

He does wear a red sweater every day. He pretty cool, and very approachable. The class was kinda boring to me, but the tests were somewhat easy, but I passed.

he makes this class so interesting, you feel bad about missing it. take him and you can't go wrong.

Randy is so funny. He'll teach you all about space and how wonderful he thinks it all is. Some of his examples can get confusing so pay attention when he starts using randome objects (such as the overhead) and then walking around it as a visual. Honors classes get to keep the gnarly spectrum glasses.

Randy is a really nice & quite. He makes the class very easy. All you need to do is go to class (not required), take notes. There is a review for the exams and he tells you exactly how many problems are going to be on the exams. Study the notes and you'll pass. No need for book except for the HW problems. He's easy grader and greades HW.

this is the nicest man in the world. he gives you the test questions, no need for book,no hmwk,no assignments, just come to class and take notes for the test, and you will get an A. He wears a red sweater everyday so get use to it. but he's cool. you will not regret it, promise.

This is my favorite class since I have been at TCC. He is an awesome instructer. You can tell he really loves his job. Also he gives extra credit for people who attend an observatory where you see mars and saturn through a telescope. Dont need book...just take good notes and study them for an easy A!

Dr. Mckee is an excellent teacher. The test questions come straight from the notes. All you have to do is show up and record good notes and you should be fine. He explains everything in great detail. His lectures are interesting and he reviews before each test. I highly recommend him.

Mr. McKee was very nice, helpful to the utmost, and would clarify his meanings totally if you did not understand. Be ready for alot of notes, and most of all, be ready to study. He does give extra credit to help all his students achieve better grades. What I enjoyed most was observing the moon, stars, etc. via the telescope.

He doesn't go to fast and explains every with great detail. Very good.

Dr. McKee is a dream. He is soo good. I will remember him for the rest of my life and hope I always know him. I could listen to him talk for ever. There is probably a good word to describe him, but I can't think of one that is good enough.

Mr. McKee is so awesome, I highly suggest that if you took the time to read this you will take him. He goes over notes before tests and makes it clear whats going to be on them. OH MY GRACIOUS, this guy is awfully sweet and does whatever you ask of him. He is loyal to his students. Words cant even express the great human being he is. I was under a stress perioid for 2 weeks and during that time i came back and he made acopy of all the notes 4 de exams. Take him he is perfect!! Everything is always clear and precise.

Mr. McKee is a very sweet man, and your typical science enthusiast. He is very intellegent and expects his students to show off their knowledge. I did not study for this class- period! And I got a high B. Studying will be useful- especially the diagrams

Mr. McKee is wonderful! He is patient and kind, enthusiastic about astronomy, and really enjoys teaching. His notes are thorough, and he really prepares you for each test. He also has a fun sense of humor, and I think he's a bit of a classic rocker. And he's still wearing that signature red sweater. Definitely take his class!

EASY!! He made the class fun and interesting! Study your notes and do the tutorial assignments and you will pass. You don't need the book. You will need an access code for the tutorial assignments and that's only $30.00! Great class to take.

This class was awesome. Take Mckee. He's so helpful, so sweet, and he gives extra credit. The tests are so easy, you just have to study your notes. I got an 'A' with flying colors. It's so easy. I cannot stress that enough. TAKE THIS CLASS!!

Professor McKee is the sweetest man. He loves what he teaches, and it shows. He is very acommodating and takes the time to cover the material thoroughly. Definitley take the opportunity to stargaze when he takes out the telescope! It was amazing to see the Moon, Venus, and identify constellations.

WOW! easiest class i've had since i have been here at tcc. he's a very interesting guy hes kinda nerdy and he has some really corney jokes. he always wears a red sweater to class and he always says 'right' after like every word. gives a study guide before each test i got an A on every one.HIGHLY RECOMENDED!!!!! NO REGRETS!

Take down the info he gives you in class. Study the test guide and you'll be in good shape. The amazing thing is you may even enjoy learning something from this unassuming red sweatered Phd.

AMAZING teacher! He gives a lot of notes but tells you EXACTLY what is on the tests..and I do mean EXACTLY. Never used the book so don't bother buying it. Did have to buy a book code for online worksheets though. Gives you many chances to redeem your grade. Very easy class and very nice guy. Highly recommend.

Great guy, like many other people on here I have nothing but good things to say. For the important stuff: The book isn't mandatory, but the $30 online account is, and he offers an extra credit activity. Only compliant would be that my class had some disruptive people. He never gets onto anyone, but he deserved to be treated better than that.

No study guide but does give an outline, be careful on tests 4 & 5. Easy to take notes in his class. DO NOT MISS CLASS or you will cheat yourself on the tests he gives extra credit!

Awesome professor. Attendance taken but his class isnt too boring. Go to class for the test review. Gives out all the information you need to do well. One research paper (Yucca Mt.) which was extremely easy and boosts your grade. No final exam! Just final test on latest material. Pretty straight forward. Take him, but dont buy the book! Easy class.

The class is easy, the material is presented clearly, and the tests and homework are easy. He speaks quietly and doesn't ask noisy students to tone it down, so sit close to the front of the room. If you have any prior knowledge of the subject at all, however, don't bother taking it. The course moves so slowly that it's easy to get really bored.

the best instructor i ever have in tcc. Mr. Mckee has a nice personality, helps the student the best he can. the test is easy, all come out from the notes and he let the student know what questions will be on the test. dont dont buy the textbook. take him.

OMG!!!!!! I love this man if you really want to have a easy class stress free semester....I would pick up this class he is more then willing to be flexable with you and your needs. Easiest A I've ever had. Show up to lab, he tells you how to do the labs and calculations, answers any questions and works with you on tests if you don't understand something. He also weighs the labs down and drops lowest lab grade so that the tests don't matter that much. Totally worth taking if you want to pass General Physics.

Awesome, easy teacher. He is a very nice guy. It was a pretty easy straight forward class. We have five tests, the class before review all the material in detail. He makes it hard to fail the class. No book is required, just study the notes and you?ll be fine. I would definitely recommend him.

Easy and fun class for your science. Somewhat of a boring subject if you aren't interested in the sky and stuff. He makes the class easy and the test are easy so long as you have the notes and study. Bare with him, he teaches with an overhead projector and goes slow through the notes, but it's not that big of deal.

Alright, I have no clue how I got an A in that class.. All u need to do in to be there the class before ur test as he gives u a study guide for the test and it's pretty much the test. He also drops the lowest grade.. DEFINITELY TAKE HIM and worry about ur other classes. good luck

Great Professor, excellent class. Textbook not needed. Online Mastering Astronomy program is needed for HW and tutorials. While attendance isn't taken-it is best for you to attend. There are 5 tests and all the notes you will take and charts you make will help you get a good grade. He is a caring, funny and super intelligent guy. take his class!!

Great teacher. No book needed, to be honest you really only have to show up for test reviews the class before the test, and you can still make an A.If you don't go to class, just make sure to ask him for any worksheets you missed. My only problem was he didn't post grades on blackboard, but aside from that, I highly recommend him.

He is an awesome teacher, truly passionate about what he is teaching about. Doesn't take attendance, but also doesn't use any form of technology so it is your job to get your notes for the test. Easy with grades only 5 tests no final. Offers Extra credit. Lets you go early some days. Tells funny jokes that are corny haha, class isnt that painful.

He is a wonderful teacher. Puts all the notes on the projector and goes over every piece. All you need to do is copy notes. The homework is simple because they are tutorials online and you can guess repeatedly because the hw you turn in is on paper and you just have to choose the answer from online. Make sure to attend review day before test day.
