Very easy teacher. She is clear, honest and fair. She is a nerd. To get an A you must show up to class and take notes. All the tests are straight from your notes. I was scared to take bio at first, but not anymore. Take her.
She is very fair and understanding. Take good notes ask questions. exams included T/F multiple cohoice and shor anwers. I took this teacher this summer. She had 3 exams 100 questions and two 25% worth test same format with the exam but shorter questions.
Bober is the best Bio teacher I have had. She gives lots of extra credit, and everything on the test was taught in class. All you have to do to get an A is to take good notes and show up to class. You don't need to even read the book if you havegoodnotes
Wonderful professor. Very nice. Not too organized but surely knows what she's talking about. Strongly recommend. Tests are fair.
Bober is an excellent teacher. She has a passion for what she teaches and it shows in her lectures. She is fair, helpful and approachable. Taking good notes is key. I highly recommend her.
Ms. Bober is very fair, and extremly helpful, always goes out of her way to make you understand. Take her,she knows what she teaches and enjoyes it very much. Not that easy, taking good notes is a must, don't mind reading the book. you will learn

She makes a hard class fun and interesting.Very helpful, always willing to help students. Loves teaching and it shows. In the dictionary by the word saint should be her picture! Very kind especially to English as second language students.Precise lectures tests from them not the book! Take good notes
verry easy
Great professor! Genuinely has a passion for what she is teaching and loves to pass on her enthusiasm to her students. Tests were not too bad and she is very fair with her grading. She is so patient and helpful whenever someone has a question and never makes anyone feel stupid - take her!
Wonderful Prof!!! Her lectures were interesting, and organized. Her tests and quizes were easy. She always answered questions without making anyone feel stupid. TAKE HER if you can.
Not like you have a choice when it comes to bio but this teacher is the worst, so be prepared. She stumbles all over her own words, then stops, realizes that she has made a mistake, and starts all over again. If you don't have to take her don't!
Born to teach! She's fair, enthusiastic, patient, kind but firm. She treats her students with respect and creates a very nonthreatening environment. She is not easy but if you're interested in biological science you'll appreciate her. She'll get better organized as teaching is still new for her.
Grades immeadiately.Super sweet.Nice, considerate. She has great memory.Incredibly helpful. Completely safe to ask stupid questions. She loves bio & her job. I have a Huge soft spot for her, so will you. 2 exams, 6 quizzes, 1 easy project, 1 final. Drops 1 quizz & 1 exam! Friendly. Cann't say enough good things about her.
If you have to take Bober for Bio 22 be forwarned! You will be requ'd to do up a lab report for which the info you need is in a million different places, a lab manual with no table of contents and disjointed material and no cohesive element to the experiments. Unreasonable but you will be expected to miraculously put it all together and make sense!
Ok...She is patient if you go to her office hr. However, she is so unclear about everything, and whenever she answers students's questions in class, the answers that you get will always be " i actually don't know" And she will tell you something wrong first then try to back it up afterwards thus making you really confused!!!
"Ooopsie!" This comment is what Bober said everytime she wrote something wrong on the board. No reviews for exams, no review for final. Answering questions, she'd say,"I'm making this part up..." How can anyone remain a teacher who conducts herself like this?
Dr. Bober is the nicest teacher ever. SHe is very friendly and spends a lot of time answering students questions. To get an A in molecular Biology is not that hard if you tape record her lectures in the class and in the lab. Tests are based on what she said in class. In the lab you need to know exactly why you did certain steps and how you did them
Tough subject, but she teaches it well. She's very organized. And don't give her an pity stories or excuses for your bad grades, she won't do anything about it.
Dr. Bober is an amazing professor! Her lectures are very clear, organized and she explains concepts to the detail. She is knowledgeable about physiology, especially cancer genes. She may spell a few words incorrectly on the board but bear with her and focus on the bigger picture that she wants you to grasp. I only wish all professors are like her.
Good teacher, kind of easy, but her lectures wander and she can't stay on track. I would recomend her but if you can take Cramer, A. Her lectures are more organized and you know what to expect on the test.
So boring and ridiculously hard. She is arrogant, disorganized, and hard to understand. Avoid her class and take Colavito.
Mary Bober is the best teacher I've ever had. If you don't love to read the book (I'm not a fan) and if you're interested in learning Biology, you absolutely have to take her class. She is organized, helpful, and wants students to learn. I rarely had a problem understanding the material and if I did, she always made time to clarify. The best!
She is a really nice teacher. Although her lectures tend to go off topic at times, she tells you almost everything that is on the test. If you need help with something, she is always willing to help.
Great teacher, very kind and extremely interesting. Her tests are a bit hard and you have to put in work to pull off an A but she gives lots a quizzes so you know ahead of time what you need to work on and every test has extra credit points. highly recomended!
She is one of the nicest professors you will ever meet. Exams are MC and it's a complicated subject which means if you forget or get one small thing wrong, you're likley to get the entire question wrong. Somewhat confusing as to what is going to be on the exams. Uses power points that are heavily reliant on the class lectures. Thorough grader.
She is the best phys teacher. She always had the time to clarify things with me. Always available. Grades fairly.....study hard though.
Prof. Bober is a wonderful professor. She is extremely helpful and answers all your questions. She was a pleasure to have as a teacher. You'll learn a lot but make sure you study hard. The class was enjoyable and you'll take a lot away from the class. enjoy!
Good intro class for Bio majors/premed students. Not to mention her class is a joke if you're interested in human biology. Covers 99% of test/quiz materials in class, enough extra credits on quizzes and tests to get you over 100%.
Avoid this person in Bio 22...Very unclear what she is talking abt. I dunno why she can still teaching bio major class.
SHE IS SUCH A SWEETHEART! Professor Bober is one the kindest teachers working at SMC. She truly cares about the students, and cares about the topic. She definitely knows her stuff.
Professor Bober is truly the nicest person I had the pleasure of meeting. I can honestly say that she cares about her students. Her lectures are direct and clear. As long as you takes good notes and come to class, you will do well in her class. You will be lucky to be in her class!
I really wanted to like Prof. Bober. She is a very nice lady, but as a teacher, she was lacking. She normally teaches Bio22 with Colavito, but without her Bober was very disorganzied. She was vague about what she wanted on assignments and then docked points for details she never mentioned.Tell the students what you expect. We can't read her minds.
Her personality is good, but she is not helpful. when you ask her a question, she talks too much and even a word of her answer is not usable. she thinks you are getting your doctrate degree. she expects you to write a scientific paper as a scientist. I think it was her first semester that she tought bio 21,cuz she did not know how to deal.
She is the nicest teacher you will ever meet! She is a bit unclear sometimes but if you talk to her after class she will be more than happy to clarify things. Love her, but don't be fooled by the sweet exterior, her tests are HARD!!! you really have to listen well and read the book
She's not easy. There's a problem with clarity and staying on topic (read chapters before lectures to alleviate this). Tests make you think beyond the material (but the material gives you the tools; do end of chapter probs to help this). But she is truly kind, caring, and wants to do right by us, and my critical tendencies melt at that realization.
She is not repectable and not repectful proffesor. Her lecture is totally pointless. When student question, she doen't answer. Her way of grading is unfair.
She was really like a nightmare I've never took the class like her class. All the lectures are pointless and most of them are even does not exist at the text book. I took her class becaue of prior professor This class was awful
She was really horrible her personality was ok but her lecture was not much related to the text book and her quizzes and tests were tricky she chose the questions that were not even imaginable
She is a very helpful person. Good teacher!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cares about students, and well trained in the sciences. She is tough, but fair with all students who ask for help
I loved Prof Bober, but so many people do not. She's tough, and so many people want to slack off yet get a good grade. That's not what she's about, and that doesn't make her a bad teacher. Just read the text, pay attention, and you'll be fine. Yes, her tests are hard, but this is college people!! She wants you to think. I thought she was great.
GREAT instructor with a friendly personality! The class was challenging but possible to pass with a good grade. Her willingness to explain key concepts makes her a great teacher. I recommend her for anyone that needs to take Physiology 1 at SMC!
one of the worst profs ive ever met...
Mary Bober is a very kind, helpful, good-hearted lady. She loves her students and enjoys teaching them. Dr. Bober is also very passionate about the subject she teaches and is very careful to ensure that her students are never confused. There is no excuse to not do well in her class. Although it is very educational, is not the least bit difficult.
Professor Bober was great! She was very clear and organized with her material presentation and expectations. There are quizzes and exams which you get to drop the lowest score. Take notes and look through the text and what she doesn't talk about you simply do not need to know for the exam! Id take her for the higher bio classes!
To all of you reading this, I am doing you a huge favor by telling you to AVOID this teacher if at all possible! There is NO point in going to lecture b/c you will leave more confused then when you entered. I am an A student who is entering a doctoral program next semester and this is the only class I will most likely get a C in. Nice person though
I have always been an A student, but this teacher is horrible and gave me a C. Trust me, DO NOT take her. She is unorganized, slow, boring, picky, unclear, and her exams are difficult. Don't make the same mistake I did.
Professor Bober is great. She has taught for 7 years.I'm not very smart and probably will not get an A, but she is great.
She is an intelligent professor. She is unintentionally funny, which makes the class fun and relaxed. Very helpful and answers questions. BEST BEST BEST
She's is awesome I'm glad I took her class, which I earned a solid A in the class.
This is the worst professor i have ever had, she is disorganized and demanding. Her lectures would have been more helpful if she wouldn't have talked at all. I have a 3.9 GPA but its hard to get an A in this class (for no good reason). She is just an incompetent teacher who has absolutely no use for someone who likes to learn.
I don't know how she has such a good rating, its definitely not for her bio 22 class. She is a very nice lady, but she is just incompetent. She was very disorganized, she grades unfairly, and she doesn't know what she wants. Not to mention her useless lectures, seriously your better off just reading the book, On the other hand Colavito is great.
I do not know why she teaches. She is unclear, quick to get upset, seemingly always in a bad mood and does not seem to care about her students at all. On top of all that she stutters and is incomprehensible. Fumbling her words every other sentence will drive you crazy. She loves Molec. Bio but she belongs in a lab not a classroom. I recieved an A
Her lecture is pretty boring and unclear. Many people rather leave the class early and read the textbook by themselves. It's also my first time fell asleep in lecture
She is a wealth of information, the real deal with great research background. This class is tough. She is a great professor though. A very genuine person. She will challenge your critical thinking in the lab exams. Be interested and hands-on in the lab work and this class will roll smoothly.
She is the best teacher ever. Physiology is a hard subject. She made it comprehensible and fun. She is the best physio teacher at SMC!
Bober's bio 22 class is quite the challenge! Keeping up with her in lectures is a must! She could use a little more organization in presenting the material but overall I think she was pretty clear in terms of what would be asked of us and tested on the exams. There are lots of exams, assignments, etc... lots of points to miss here and there!
Take Dr. Bober's class. Straightforward. She helps you a lot. Ask questons. She is a wealth of information. Very helpful. She makes the material fun and enjoyable. Her quizes enhances your learning. Don't worry, just listen to her lectures, take goood notes.Study the assigned chapters, too! And get a good grade. Done.
Very nice lady, take her class if your interested in science she always stays and answers any questions about her class or just science in general. she drops you lowest test a quiz score. I got an A without studying that much.
Shes a great teacher, Im not a science person but I still got an A in the class. She has 2 midterms (drops one), a final, and number of quizes (drops one). Very fair, offers a generous amount of extra credit, and ONLY asks what is covered in class. She'll even round up 89%, but its not easy you have to put in the time to get an A. Thanks Dr Bober!
Professor Bober is very nice and helpful. She answers all your questions during class, before, after and during break time. She actually has time and patience for her students not like other professors. Just read the book, take good notes and study. Other than that she is a great professor!! I actually loved her class and learned a lot.
I haven't taken her for an easier bio class, but she's really hard in Bio 22. She co-teaches with Colavito and I love her. Bober is a REALLY picky grader; she takes points off for every little thing, even if she doesn't like the way you wrote something. I studied my butt off and didn't get an A, and that's coming from a student who loves bio.
If you thought you survived Bio 21, just look at the grade distribution for Bio 22. Lectures and labs are excruciatingly painful. Tests impossible.
She's a really sweet lady and super helpful if you go up and ask her questions after class but her lectures are unorganized and the lecture slides are impossible to study off of without having taken notes in class. Pay attention and ask her LOTS of questions. The class is genetics and molecular together but the emphasis is molecular so focus there.
Dr. Bober is extremely helpful. She is willing to help you out any way she can. Go to her office hours, ask questions, grades significantly improve when you receive her help. Most of her questions come off the slides.
I took bio 2 during the 6-week summer semester and it wasn't bad at all. You would have to be extremely lazy and/or stupid to fail or even get a C in this class. She is very clear about her expectations and will help you with any questions you may have during breaks and office hours. She is a very sweet, intelligible woman who loves biology.
First of all, I really don't like biology at all. But she made it more than tolerable for me. She's really nice and helpful and makes everything clear. I took winter session with her and it was nice because we didn't have to read anything in the book that we didn't cover in class. Study for exams and quizzes and you'll do well!
Dr. Bober is one of a kind. Very sweet lady with a great pool of knowledge and loads of experience. That said, her class was extremely challenging. must record lectures as everything that comes out of her mouth can be asked on an exam, focuses on the understanding and applying the knowledge rather than memorization. Can be unclear on assignments.
Professor Bober is an absolute delight! Her class was so enjoyable and interesting! Don't buy the textbook. It's just supplementary. Everything she says in class is in the exams. Highly recommend recording lectures! I mean it! It seriously saved me during this course and ended up with an A. You won't regret it. Overall, great class!
Only thing you need to know is to GO TO EVERY CLASS. Exams and quizzes are heavily based on her lecture - if she doesn't mention certain topics that are on the book, it will not be on the exam. Hence, you'll need to take very clear and precise notes; I actually started recording the lecture and it helped immensely.
She was great. Extremely kind, lectures are clear. She's always there too help.
She's a good professor. This course was organized well, and her lectures were very clear and coherent. Very nicekind. 5 quizzes, 2 exams, 1 final. Exams were long and tough for someone who doesn't study. Read the chapters, study your notes, you will do fine. Oh yeah, attend class!
Prof Bober is SO NICE! You can REALLY tell she loves biology. It's always great to have a Professor you can tell loves their job. The quizzes and exams are solely based on her lectures, some people didn't even use their book. Take notes on EVERYTHING that she discusses, even if it sounds random and off topic. Pretty easy A if you are a good student
Dr. Bober was such a great professor. I took her winter bio class and her lectures were engaging and really clear. Take good notes, it really helps!
Great professor! Super clear criteria, and there for anyone who asks for help. She obviously cares for students' understanding of the material and is very approachable. She teaches her material and is very respectable person. It's hard information to know, but she teaches it well. Work hard and you'll feel accomplished and she'll be proud. :)
Sweet professor and answers any questions you have. She uses Powerpoint but then I used the book to "fill in the blanks." She only tests you on the material from lecture. My only critique is that she can get a little long-winded in lecture and exams are 2.5 - 3 hours. It's bit long to go without a bathroom or water break. But those are the rules.
Professor Bober is such a nice person. Her lectures are however a bit disorganized and her powerpoint slides don't make much sense if you didn't take good notes while she was presenting them. That said, if you come to every class and take very good notes, you can do well in the class. Just plan on spending A LOT of time studying. Physiology is hard
One of my favorite prof. I've had at smc. Although, the lectures are long (What do you expect from a class 3+ hours) she lets you record the lecture, I recommend you do so! She is so caring and sweet, you want to do well just for the simple fact of not letting her down! Take her, you will not regret it! Create study groups, it's an easy A w/work.
Dr. Bober is an amazing teacher and person! You can really tell she cares about students doing well and actually understanding the material. Her lab practical exams are tough but you will come out of the class having learned a lot. She is always willing to help explain things clearly and is so so nice. It's easily apparent she loves what she does!
Has a very awkward way of explaining things. Lectures on general ideas and then tests on minute details. Skips the easy parts in the book. Worst science teacher I've ever had. Learn better from the book.
She's really nice but tends to go off topic or incorporate things that don't really help. She has a unique teaching style and I learned much more from the book than her lectures. No extra credit. Her quizzes(5)/tests(4) are all lecture based and there are mostly random, minor detailed questions.
Dr. Bober is brilliant and so sweet. She cares about her students, and has a plethora of knowledge. Be prepared to work hard in her class- record the lectures, go home & type up every word she says. Really UNDERSTAND the material. Memorizing won't help you. Study hard. Bio 22 is a very difficult class but she makes it as fun as she can. Love her.
I lalalaloved professor bober!! Initially, I hated physio since I had failed it before with a different professor but dr. Bober not only helped me pass with a B+ but she's actually inspired me to further my education in physiology! This woman knows how to explain some complex material in the simplest of ways. Plus she's super fair and genuine!
Dr. Bober is amazing! She makes hard material doable and you can get help from her during her office hours. She wants you to do well in this class. Her tests are tough, period. However, you would definitely learn tons of knowledge from her class. Be aware of lab practical exam! Not impossible, but you may not have enough time to finish.
Hands down my favorite professor at SMC. Cares so much about her students' futures and works so hard and diligently. Very difficult professor but you will step away from her class feeling like you have truly grasped the material unlike any other class. Wonderful teacher and person please take her.
she does not know how to communicate information to her students. class structure needs improvement. her questions are always poorly written and confusing, print out lecture slides and take notes on margins, helped me a lot. record lectures and listen carefully.
Professor Bober is a fantastic teacher. She speaks very clearly and repeats important points to help you out. Physiology is a tough class and there is a lot of information to memorized, but she delivers the message clearly and her test are very fair. I highly recommend taking her - you won't regret it!
powerpoints are completely useless. very unorganized. horrible class structure
Class is fairly easy if you're paying attention. The powerpoint is only there as a visual. I didn't use the textbook. Professor Bober bases her questions off of lecture notes. She is a great professor and I hope I can take her class again.
Dr. Bober is so nice you have to take her!! She is very, very, very, can I say it one more time? very enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and you'd see cute animals as well as extra credit questions on your exams. Make sure to go over her notes, maybe even record the lectures, and honestly reading the book isn't necessary to do well. She's so sweet :)
Dr. Bober is very knowledgeable. She does whatever it takes for you to fully understand the material. She is also super friendly. I went to her office hours whenever I needed help. Bio 22 is not an easy class but if you do the work and actually study you can get an A.
Professor Bober is one of the best Science professors at SMC. Although, she tends to go off topic, her lectures are well worth it for all quizzes and exams. As long as you study her lectures, you will do well in exams and pass the course. Two thumbs up!!
Not good at explaining, gives you a brief overview in the lecture but goes into detail in the test.
Bases exams mostly on lectures, but her lectures are all over the place. Sometimes she will tell you something incorrectly and not catch herself. Her questions are also sometimes unclear. Don't try to fight her for points cause if it's something she mentioned, then you should know it.
The main tests are multiple choice which is normally easy but not here. each choice will also depend on you completely knowing they key word or topic it describes in order to see if it matches the question. small vital details will appear in lectures (not the slides but from what she says) and not in the textbook and vice versa.
Really enjoyed Bobbers bio 2 class! If you had any questions, shed answer them as accurately as she could. If you come to class everyday and pay attention, you will get a good grade. She was very sweet and kind on top of that!
Professor Bober is so sweet, she actually really loves teaching and is very kind. That being said this class is very difficult to do well in because ur grade is based off exams for the most part and the exams are difficult. No curve and the study guides are VAGUE so recording lectures is ur best bet to do well as well as reading the book/youtube.
Dr. B is a caring professor. However she does not drop any exams (there are 3), and gives 11 quizzes (1 dropped). She tends to talk pretty fast and sometimes goes off on a tangent which makes you lose focus so do yourself a favor and record her lectures. Tests are very hard so be ready to thoroughly explain AND DRAW how a process works from A to Z!
Not a good professor if you have the option to take someone else, do it. You cannot address her with any concerns because she plays the self-pitty game and will cut you off mid-sentence to tell you that she feels attacked. We had to take the same exam twice because everyone failed the first time, just for it to end up being an error in her grading.
I've never had an unprofessional professor ever in my life. Whenever emailing her about any concerns on grading, she tends to get mad even though our intentions are pure. Her teaching style was personally very hard b/c her exams require us to listen to every single word of hers during lectures. Even her quizzes are tricky, bringing the grade down.
Really knows her material and is very passionate about biology. Her lectures were very lengthy and sometimes difficult to sit through but I found myself learning so much during this semester. You really have to pay attention to the lectures though, as specific information is used as test questions. Several LABsters, discussions, quizzes, & exams
Absolutely worst teacher Ive ever had and Ive been at SMC for three yrs. She is chaotic, disorganized, doesn't cover material she expects us to do and asks trick questions, in her 1 attempt, 20 minute quizzes with no revising or seeing the correct answers. Her exams are even worse. I ended up having to withdraw from her class. Thankfully no F.
Run far away. The worst professor I have ever had in my life. Her exams have nothing to do w the textbook, her lectures are basically just rants that have nothing to do with her PowerPoint slides, and anytime you try to discuss where something might be wrong or lacking, she plays a pity game where she defends herself instead of addressing the issue
I think she knows what she's talking about but can't teach it. Emotionally fickle!
This course was definitely one of the hardest Ive ever taken. Make sure you are carefully listening to Dr. Bober and take detailed notes (this is what gave me the A), as a lot of what she says is what appears on the exam. If you have difficulties with understanding lecture, make sure you read the textbook so that its more clear!
Dr. Mary Bober is one of the worst professors Ive had. Her lectures are long and tangent-filled. Wed begin a subsection of a lecture and wed spend like 10 mins on one slide, because shes diverging from the subject matter. Her lectures are a brief overview of the material, but exams go into full detail. Choose at your own peril.
Very generous with grading, but you have to pay attention in lectures in order to understand the material and do well in the exams. Also you need to pay $80 for the textbook/homework.
Dr. Bober is amazing. She genuinely cares that we learn and will be able to succeed in a STEM career. Extremely knowledgeable, very approachable. Very communicative and responsive. Her tests are challenging, but as long as you take good notes and really pay attention to the things she emphasizes, you'll be fine. Best Professor I've had at SMC.
Difficulty 3.5/5 and I haven't studied biology since jhs. She cares so much abt and tries her best to understand students. It's unbelievable. Her tests are (all) based on her lectures, so make sure you take DETAILED notes. Go to her office hours, she's more than willing to share her knowledge and resources. She's very accessible outside of class.
Avoid this class at all cost! Her lectures are terribly long and unorganized. You have to really focus on what she's saying because lecture slides only include the topic name, and it's hard because the lecture is all over the place. Her tests are HEAVILY based on SPECIFIC details mentioned in her lecture.Thankfully, I got an A.
Really simple class watch lectures do labs, and then you take a test and realize that the questions are insanely specific and impossible to study for. Tests which make up %70 of your grade. Just look at her grade distribution compared to Lee, and do yourself a favor.
Dr. Bober is an amazing professor. She's caring and passionate about the material and in ensuring the success of her students. Exams are on very clearly based on what's covered in her lectures and in the lab. No surprises there. If you closely watch her lectures, take good notes and do practice problems, you will succeed in this class.
Tests and quiz questions can be a bit tricky at times, Lectures are long and sometimes hard to pay attention to. 3 exams for 45%. if you take time to study and review lecture slides and can take detailed notes for material you will be fine.
You have to pay attention and study but Dr. Bober is very sweet and inspiring. You'll do fine if you put in the work.
Dr. Bober is a very nice person, however, her teaching is not the best. This class is incredibly difficult. I will probably be getting a B. So heavy and asks very specific questions on exams. Class is not weighted but rather out of 850 points. The 4 exams (2 exams, 1 lab final, 1 final) make up 550 points of the class. don't recommend its so hard.
DONT take this professor at SMC! I'm in her hybrid class (lectures online, labs in person), but she ignores the format and spends in-person class time on long, irrelevant tangents. Sometimes we don't even finish labs because she talks so much! so many quizzes & tests. she grades HARSHLY. Take Bio 3 with someone else, this class was a nightmare.
Professor Bober is passionate about the material, but her exams can be tricky. Take good notes, use the textbook, and try unstuck ai for helpful study prep - this class requires diligence, but it's worth the effort.
Nice individual with a great personality but I wouldn't even wish her class on my worst enemy. Watching the extremely long winded lectures filled with irrelevant tangents was necessary yet torturous. Exam questions are straight from the lecture videos, but you'll need an eidetic memory to remember precisely what she said. Insanely tough grader.
She is a good person, you can see she cares and genuinely wants to teach you; however, she's not good enough at teaching. My advice to you if you take this class - lock in since the very beginning. It'll be difficult to get better grades as the topics get more complicated. Watch her zoom videos since week 1, and watch all of them. Good luck there:)
Super great teacher, she loves to talk to her students. She knows so much about random topics which can be nice but sometimes carries into her lectures (sometimes they are too long). Her exams are fully based on lectures, so study them a lot. I wish I could take it again and try harder from the beginning. Take, if you're going to put in the work.
I just finished Professor Bober's Bio 3 course and I must say it was hard, but that's given because it's a biology class. Just make sure to watch her online lectures, take notes, and go to class - if you try, you'll do fine! She's also nice and likes to conversate with students. She responds quick to emails.
Took Prof. Bober over the summer, and I ABSOLUTELY love her class. I took her in person, and the lectures were super interesting, and be sure to take notes! Anything she discusses in class will be related to the quiz/exams so you don't need to read the required text always. She also is super welcome to questions after class. Would retake again! :)
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This professor is a nice person, however, she grades so harshly it is impossible to get an A and her lectures are long, boring and do not sufficiently prepare you for what is on the exam.
