Professor Bolton is one of my favorite teachers I ever had. She explains things so easily and makes sure everyone understands. She is so encouraging and really made stats fun and very easy to learn.

Ms. Bolton is a great professor! She is really good at explaining some of the more difficult concepts we have to learn in this course. I was always able to understand the lessons after she went through them. She cares about her students and wants everyone to do well. I really wish I could take her again next semester!

Took an online course and she was very helpful with any questions any students may have. She would show you step by step how to solve a problem if needed. As long as you do all the homework, ask questions, and do the reviews, you should do well in this class.

She is very fair, very passionate, and the grade that you receive will revolve around how much work you chose to put into it. Constantly gives good feedback, answers every question, cares more about you understanding the material then memorizing formulas. Had many horrible math teachers, she was the first that that I thought was incredible.

The grading scale is weird, final exam only counts as 25% of your grade, 2 of the 3 exams counting as 45% the 3rd she counts as a quiz grade which I assume falls under the quizzes & discussions 20% & homework 10%. I got A's&B's on homework & quizzes but had difficulty on the tests which have to be taken at the testing center.

She is without a doubt my favorite professor here at Bucks. She cares so much for all her students and wants them all to fully grasp and understand what is being taught. Its a lot of cooperative learning along with her lectures. I would not have gotten an A in this class if it wasnt for her.

Prof Bolton is easily the best math teacher I have ever had. For the first time in my life I liked math. Prof Bolton always worked with me after class. She spends a great deal of time working on her lesson plans ensuring we are getting the most out of the class. If you want to learn and be excited about math, Bolton is the prof for you!

I loved professor Bolton! She really cares about her students passing and will take the time to help you with whatever it is she can. I took STATS for summer1 and it was extremely difficult because of the fast pace and how much work there is (like any summer class). As long as you show up and do the work, you'll pass! TAKE HER!!!

I'm so happy she got accepted for a job at Bucks she is an amazing teacher. I took calc in high school and this time around I was really able to understand all of the concepts. Although I didn't need the help she did whatever she could to come in before and or after class to help students with problems. If you put in the work you will do well.

I was really nervous to take Statistics but Prof Bolton made it enjoyable and easy to learn. You have to work, but will pass if you do. You should take her if you can!

This teacher gives a lot of homework, but she is really open to helping her students, always. Also, even though it is an online class, she is always available. If you do all the homework right, you can get a good grade because you have unlimited chances to retry. She is a good and genuine teacher.

If you want to pass statistics or any other math, take her! She will answer any questions outside of class. If you are ever confused, go to one of her office hours I guarantee you will understand the material after. One of the best professors I have ever had. She does give you a lot of homework but that's kind of inevitable in a math class. Her lectures are hard to keep up with because she has to go very fast through the material, but at least you know exactly what will be on the exam. She is an awesome teacher and really tries to help he students succeed. She encourages us to speak up if there are issues we are having with the material. You might have to work a little hard if math isn't your thing, but overall the class is good.

Prof. Bolton is one of the most caring professor's I've ever had. You can ask a question at any time during class and she will thoroughly explain it. She really cares about her student's success. Homework is through MyLab Math, and lectures were very easy to follow over zoom (print the blank notes ahead of time). Tests were doable! Take her class!

Professor never wastes time. She has everything in details from the first minute of the class to the last. She is always ready to stop during the lesson and give you a couple of minutes to explain you what you need. Just listen to her carefully and do not be distracted because she does everything quickly. Expect a lot of homework.

I can't recommend Professor Bolton enough, and wish I could take her for every math class tbh. There is a lot of hw but it's not busy work and not too hard, and that's what really got me ready for the tests. Really responsive when you email or ask questions, she really wants you to learn and understand. Tests weren't bad and the lectures were great

Discrete Math is difficult by nature, but she did an excellent job breaking down the material into manageable pieces, and then bringing it all back together at the end. She's very kind and she truly wants you to succeed - she's always willing to answer questions and re-explain things. I 100% recommend her

Professor Bolton was very approachable and amiable. I happened to know this unit fairly well, but the time she took to communicate to students was truly outstanding. In my view, math professors/teachers who communicate more with their students are the ones that make learning such a precise concept, a fun challenge. I highly recommend her course(s)!

Professor Bolton was a great teacher! She really helped break the material down, and while the amount of work could seem tedious, it truly helps to make sure that you're gaining a good understanding of what she is teaching and offers extra practice, which is very helpful for the tests! I used to loathe math, but she completely changed that around!

Professor Bolton is hands down the best STEM professor I have ever encountered. She is accessible outside of class and quick with responding. If she notices you losing focus, she will personally email you to try to put you back on the correct path. she is very reassuring and loves when students are involved.

Professor Mary Balton is perfect for teaching discrete math. The material she has prepared to teach is way better than textbook. You can ask any question in class, no matter how silly the question is. I would probably take her again if I need. I encourage you all to take her for discrete class, she is perfect to teach discrete.

She has very hard tests, if you want to do the best you can factor in about 6 hours of studying ahead of you. She does SO many long videos at home you have to complete notes too. The packet she gives you is helpful. Tests are HARD and homework took me a very long time. You definitely have to work hard at this class to pass but she is helpful.

I took Math121 last year w/ Prof. Bolton & I'm currently enrolled in a discrete course at a 4 year institution. Trust me when I say that Prof. Bolton is easily one of the best discrete math professors out there. She makes difficult topics easy to grasp if you apply yourself. I was eager to learn!! She's extremely intelligent & a phenomenal teacher.

Professor Bolton is hands-down the BEST professor I have come across in all my years of learning. She truly cares about her students and will do ANYTHING to explain something a student does not understand. I would take her again 1000%. Professor Bolton has been one of my favorite teachers at bucks. She has such a genuine love for math and is excited to teach it which is so refreshing to see. She breaks down lectures so they're easy to follow, and as long as you get assignments done and stay on top of work you should be good. She made me like math again, love her.

This class will take a lot of time. Believe what the professor tells you about how much time you need to spend on this class. Don't get behind on the assignments. Bolton applies her work to real world examples and keeps everything clear and easily understandable. She is willing to help students by staying after, is quick to answer emails and encourages students to ask questions as to not leave anyone behind. You will leave this class with a solid foundation point in statistics. Highly recommend this class.

Mylab was a little heavy in the start but got better toward the middle. Tests are easy enough and the questions in class are usually significantly harder than those on the test. She is always willing to answer any question, whether in class, after class, or over email. She is incredibly passionate about math and seems to adore her job.

She taught calculus in a way that made me love it, in an intuitive way that I could understand. She understood when the class was confused and tried explaining concepts better. MML was hard, but its needed so you can learn. She is truly passionate about mathematics.

This professor is amazing. I had her for statistics and it was a great experience. She helps students really understand the criteria and makes sure we are really learning. She is very helpful and wants her students to succeed in her class. I would recommend anyone who takes a math course to choose her if you can have her as a professor.

SUCH AN AMAZING PROFESSOR. I took her stat class and I do not think I was ever more intrigued by a math class. She made everything enjoyable with her lesson plans and includes everyone in the course. This course is not your typical basic math course as it does get into some advanced concepts, but professor Bolton is great in using real life examples in order to keep everyone engaged and on the same page. The work load is more than average, so it's important to stay on top of assignments to receive the great feedback she provides!

I would totally take this professor again. She is the best professor ever. She makes sure that everyone understands the material before you leave class. There is a quiz due about every week, but she gives you several attempts. Also, she teaches you the harder problems so that when it comes to the test, it will be very easy to get an A. Take her!!

I took Professor Bolton for math121 and 125 and for both classes I highly recommend her. during the lecture, she will gladly answer any questions you have and answer any questions after class. her lectures are beneficial so you definitely show up for them for 121 I had textbook homework which never felt too much. highly recommend.

I took Mrs. Bolton class for calculus and discreet mathematics. Both maths are completely different but she was able to clearly explain everything clearly that was presented. Her lectures are very engaging and she prints out notes that are very helpful. She explains the concepts were are learning by relating them to other things we already know.

Professor Bolton was fantastic. I took her 6-week accel. Intermediate Algebra course, and it was overall very well structured. She has a discussion post for each unit where she + other students answer any questions you have. She is extremely nice and willing to help you out, genuinely wants to see you succeed. I plan to take her for elem. stat.

If you're looking for something close to Algebra or Calculus, Discrete math is not it. Some concepts are hard to understand but Dr. Bolton does an amazing job explaining and answering questions. She has incredible patience. Studying for tests is crucial for success in this class; I found flashcards to be especially helpful. 10/10 would recommend!

She is one of those teachers that are passionate about the subject they teach, and makes the lesson 10x more fun and easier to learn. If you really study the concepts she teaches on your own time, you start understanding, and it almost becomes fun. Never thought I'd say that about math but that's my opinion on this professor.

I took statistics over covid and got a D, and was really nervous to take it again. Her reviews were spot on. She was extremely helpful and a great teacher. Whenever I had questions she was able to break it down and help me understand where I was confused. As a student who always struggled with math I am very grateful that she was my professor.

The best math professor I've had by far. Engaging in lectures, open to feedback, doesn't make you feel stupid for asking even the most basic of questions. Alongside in-person lectures, she offers online video recordings, making studying for the exam so much easier. Her test reviews reflect the material asked on the exams.

Good professor that answered questions through discussion board when needed. Had teacher over the summer as part of my own desire to learn; was in high school at the time. For my first time learning with a college prof. I found her to be engaging and her prerecorded lessons helpful especially with challenging concepts. You can choose not to work.

She revived my motivation, empathized my personal struggles, and gave stunning feedback. I will truly miss her. This course is work heavy, but honestly it is extremely beneficial. Bolton wants you to succeed. Precalc is a difficult course but her lectures are clear and easy to follow, she is very accessible for office hours, and the hw assignments/reviews cover the material well. Exams are straight forward with no unexpected questions, and only cover the material from each unit they are for. She is kind, caring, and genuine.

There is a lot of homework, but if you just do it, you will be prepared for the exams (which are the majority of your grade). Professor Bolton is AMAZING!! I am currently on my second class of hers. She is so passionate about math and just as passionate about teaching. She truly wants you to succeed in math and understand every concept. She is up front about how much time it takes to do well in the course. So many opportunities to earn points and keep a healthy grade.

Dr Bolton made calculus easy to understand, lectures were helpful and she gave us just the right amount of homework to feel confident. Her exams are easy to study for with the exam review, and she is super kind and helpful in office hours. I'm not a math person but I loved MATH140 with Dr Bolton and I wish she taught Calc 2. Don't be scared of her!

Professor bolton is a good professor, his class could be challenging, sometimes had to study some problems outside class and her hmw at the end of calc 1 became a little harder, but its possible to get an A if u put ur time and do the exercises she gives you before exams and the hmw, rarely puts crazy problems or concepts that were never seen good

Prof Bolton is an incredible teacher. The lectures are interesting, informative, and exciting. She is eloquent, engaging and will never turn down a tough question. I wasn't the best student and she still treated me with an insurmountable amount of grace. I enjoyed every second of being in her classroom.

I really really enjoyed this class. It was online with something to do most days but it was enjoyable and I liked the pace.

Took her for calculus. Note that there is going to be a lot of work assigned. However, if you complete the assigned work, you should be most of the way there towards doing well on one of her exams. They are very similar to what you see on the homework. She spends a lot of time on concepts and why you are doing something. Really pay attention then!

I loved taking Professor Bolton's class. She provides great lecture notes and assigns homework that helps you understand the material better. She's very caring and answers questions well. She makes you want to like math and provides great visuals/examples in her lectures.

The best math professor ever. I've never had a math teacher who explains concepts in ways you can easily understand. The exams are worth a good amount of the grade, and there's lots of work, but if you've taken algebra before and practice the review questions it shouldn't be too challenging. Ask for help, do the work, and you will do great!

Professor Bolton is one of the best Teachers I have ever had!! This was a summer course, but she was so helpful when I reached out with questions. There is work to do for each class, but if you do it you will do great on the tests. She wants you to be successful.

Firstly, Professor Bolton is an amazing professor. She cares about students and is willing to take her time and help the ones in need. The only criticism that I had was that the homework was overwhelming. It's tough having a MathLab every night, which is at least 10 problems. I wouldn't take her class if you have responsibilities outside of class

She gives out worksheets that outline exactly what you need notes on which is really helpful. The only thing is that some of the homework seemed a little unneccessary at times. Though the way she tought definately made learning Calculus way easier than it could've been.

I took this course as a mother of two teenagers with a full time job. One of the first things that this professor mentioned was how many hours this course was going to take, believe them. They warned us about the time commitment and difficulty. The assignments are worth a small portion of the grade. The final was worth 20%. Excellent teacher.
