I took it as a night class. You get out early almost all the time. She gives you a list of things to know for the test the week before it is given. She will give ten point quizes about 3 times during the semester you right before she lets you go. easy B

Great teacher, if you listen you should atleast get a B. Do good on all four of the test because the final is impossible (Highest Score SP/04 was a 70%) and if you're borderline it won't help your grade.

She's very nice and funny. She teaches along with powerpoint slides and would sometimes bring visual aid to class. :) She places emphasis on materials that would be covered in the test. Textbook is optional and the GA would come in to take attendance some times.

This class is really easy as long as you go to class. She teaches (and tests) right from the powerpoints, and gives quizzes in class that you can use your notes for. If you take this class and plan on going every week, you probably won't need to buy the book!

She's great...You have to go to class she talks about everything that is going to be on the test. And the examples that she used in lecture and the examples on the test.. Makes that class interesting and fun.. She's very funny.. Take her!

Study for the tests and you won't have to take the final. She does EXACTLY what she says she will and does not alter in any way. Good class and she does her best to keep it enjoyable.

Take this professor! You learn stuff, but she doesn't make it overly difficult like others. Go to class and get the EASY points on quizzes. Also, study what she tells you to for the tests and you will be golden.

She is so nice, and incredibly funny. I love her jokes--she made it really easy to want to go to class. She relates well to the students, and tests are easy, straight out of the notes. Take her class if you can!

Take HER! Don't buy the book if you are going to attend class everyday. Take notes of the examps she gives b/c they show up on tests. Write down everything she tells you on review day b/c that is exactly what is on the test. I learned a lot in this class & thought she presented the material great! Gives study days, class period before the exam.

Mary is a relatively easy teacher, just lectures and the test material is over powerpoints. No need for the book, just print the slides and you'll be fine. The class is simple, she also gives 1 quiz per section in between tests, so go to class to pick up 10 easy points...and she offers a 10 pt extra credit article which is unheard of in upper div

She is so awesome! She is the sweetest lady and makes class really enjoyable! I took it as a night class and we always got out before 8:30! Her tests are pretty hard, but as long as you study the power points you'll be fine. She also does a review before each test and she tells you everything that will be on the tests! She also offers extra credit!

Her tests can be tricky at times but aren't too difficult. The online text website gives quizzes that help out a lot. If you study, you will do fine. She's always ready to help you also. A good teacher!

I LOVE MRS CHIN. She is awesome. She is a straight shooter. Hilarious stories that really relate to the material. Totally knows what she is talking about. Puts notes on Blackboard and goes straight off of it. Tells you exactly what is on the test. Gets throught the material fast and understandable. Lets you out early most of the time.

I loved her! She made a very boring subject interesting! She gives an in class review before every exam and genuinely cares if you understand the information given in class. I would def. recommend her as a professor and would take her again.

TAKE HER!! She is a great teacher. She actually wants you to learn the material, takes something that could be VERY boring and makes it interesting. If you go to class everyday, don't by the book. Write down the examples in class, they will be on the test. Also give a review before each test.

BEST PROFESSOR I HAVE HAD IN COBA! She is so nice and down-to-earth and makes us laugh all the time!! She gives a great review the day before the test, and some "out of class study days" where class is canceled. Also gives open note extra credit quizzes and a 10 pt. article review extra credit. Haven't opened my book once, tests are note based.

I am a senior marketing major, and Mrs. Chin is still one of my favorite professors at MSU. I have been in two of her classes, and she has been great in both. She gives you powerpoints so you only have to buy the book if it helps you, and has four tests with an optional final. You can get an A if you study. I can't recommend her enough.

Prof. Chin is wonderful!! She uses real life examples in class and makes marketing easy to understand. She recommends buying the book, but if you always attend class and take reasonably good notes, I don't think you need the book. I didn't have it, and I have an A.

Great teacher! Tests are straight from the PPTs. I stopped reading the chapters 3 weeks into the semester and still got and "A" in the class. There are 4 or 5 "pop quizzes" that consist basically of you writing your name on a piece of paper. She is a very funny and charismatic teacher. I recommend her to anyone!

test are kinda difficult especially if you don't study. they are multiple choice and i never use my books. she has extra credit possibilities and goes over the chapter thoroughly. It was a good class to take especially if you are unsure about marketing. I would recommend chin to any student shes great

She makes everything clear. There are reviews for each test that lets you know EXACTLY what will be on it. She is snappy when people don't pay attention and come in late. Very common sense and logical teacher. It is important to come to each class because there are random quizes. Take her!

This professor is excellent. Her lectures were very informative and my understanding of marketing increased exponentially. I wish she taught more classes! This has been one of my favorite classes and definitely my favorite professor.

When I first went in to MKT 350, I thought this class would be very difficult. She has five tests, all of them very doable and a handful of quizzes. As long as you study for the test, there is absolutely no reason you should get below a B out of this class. She even groups the questions together to make it easier. Highly recommend.

If you have to take MKT 150, take it with her. No questions asked. She makes the material perfectly clear in class, and the test questions are some of the easiest I've ever seen. Not to mention she is really funny and just a good teacher!

You don't need to go to class though because she lectures straight from the powerpoints she puts online and she cancels class a lot which I thought was great!

Don't go to class, don't buy the book, and only study the powerpoints she gives you. You won't learn anything, but if you want a G.P.A. boost, take this class.

Took this class as an extra course making my course load 18 hours because I had heard she was extremely easy. Overall the class if very laid back, but I am not alone in thinking that her tests are more difficult this semester. I BARELY scraped by with an A in the class because of the tests. If you don't care for a B then you don't even have to try.

Pleasant professor who knows what she is talking about but, doesn't write her own tests and this can be an issue. Rewards attendance and effort! Overall an easy "3" credits which in the real world is all that really matters! "Good Luck!"

Good professor. I wouldn't buy the book- you can get all of the information you need by printing the power points and attending class. Pretty easy course. She explained things well. You will easily be able to get an A if you attend class and pay attention.

Best marketing teacher at Missouri State! She's hilarious and keeps the class interesting. Her tests are easy and she gives a study guide for each one that tells you exactly what's on them. Super easy A. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK!

Seriously one of the best teachers I have had so far at Missouri State. She is actually pretty funny and her PowerPoints are clear and match up very nicely to her online quizzes. Quizzes are a great grade booster. As long as you go over the study guide she gives you for the test at least once, you got it. RECOMMEND

She is awesome! Extremely fun and entertaining. Very easy to talk to. Class was enjoyable and I always looked forward to hearing her funny stories. I would take her again in a heartbeat. Just study for your tests, there is only tests and two homework assignments so your performance matters.

She does not care about teaching. The class is 5 tests and an optional final, then 2 assignments and a few extra credit. These tests are not that easy you have to study hard for them. I hear the final is ridiculously hard so try not to have to take it. She just reads power points from blackboard, class is pointless to go to. Don't buy book

Took the intersession course. Super fast paced with a test every week. She's very clear about what you need to know and what is going to be presented in other courses. She's really funny and easy to talk to.
