very tough tests... better study

The best teacher I've had so far...you need to put work into this class, but she's very clear, and you can do okay. I just hate the stupid newsletter

you learn so much in this class from her. The best teacher that actually teaches. You will be so glad you took her. Tough but its worth it

Prof Cuff-Plante is very knowledgeable and you will learn a lot from her. Her class is interesting, and her tests are very challenging. Pay close attention, take copious notes or tape her, study very hard, and you can do well. The only negative part is the newsletter!

To be honest, this class is very hard, regardless of the professor, but Cuff-Plante is very clear on the info she wants to send across, her notes are very detailed, like she said "I want to teach you, not lecture you". Take really good notes, a word of advice get a tape recorder, and get a reliable person for the project and Study Study Study!

She is by far the best professor I have had yet. Her lectures teach concepts in a way you can understand them and apply them. Her tests are tough but if you study and understand the concepts you get it. She gives test reviews and is always helpful. Tape and if you miss class get the tape. Start early on the newsletter with someone resposible.

She is a great professor and you will learn but her exams are very hard so i hope your a good test taker and kiss good butt, she is a true wolf in sheep clothing FYI run like hell if you want to be a nurse makes exams harder then the NCLX-RN god forbid if you are of a race she has had a bad run in with (iris,black,spanish)

This has been one of the most grueling classes I have ever taken! Prof CP is very THOROUGH...MUST MUST MUST study & know how to APPLY the info!! Be prepared to put your blood, sweat & tears into her class...GO TO HER TEST REVIEWS & KNOW WHAT you NEED TO WORK ON!!

A+++ Professor: If you're up for the challenge then go for Cuff-Plante's class! She is tough but you will be so grateful for it in the end!! She really teaches you how the world of nursing is going to be - and it is no walk in the park....her class will either make u or break u!!!

Great professor. Tests are nearly impossible, but gives about 5 pts extra credit on every test. You won't get through if you don't study your butt off.

She is an amazing teacher! You'll walk out of class with a headache, but it will be worth it. Like she states.. She doesn't test facts, she's all about application. As long as you study (don't ever fall behind!) and show up to every class you should do fine. I feel very confident about the second half next semester... Good Luck :)

Challenging professor. Be prepared to work hard. I learned the most from her and because of that I am getting through my other Nursing courses with ease. Outstanding professor, highly recommend her if you would like to walk away from a class feeling prepared for the Nursing profession.

She is the greatest professor I've had at Molloy thus far. Simply AMAZING. She doesn't tell you to memorize her course pak but rather teaches you how to be a great nurse and how to properly care for your patients as a whole. That said this class is not easy by anyones standards, but seriously you will NEVER regret taking it :)

BEST NURSING PROFESSOR! I'm so glad I had the chance to be a student in her class. Her tests are challenging and really make you think, but it helps in the clinical setting. She gives you a lot of examples from her career to help you remember the info being taught. I still use her course pac for my other classes. It's really helpful!

Don't miss this opportunity! You will learn a lot as well as develop your critical thinking skills. Read the material before class so that you are familiar with it. She is always available to help you. Either by email or in the office. Enjoy!!

Very intelligent but her lectures were boring. She is willing to help you if you need it. Study from her course pak or record and listen to her lectures and you'll pass.

Nursing school is meant to be hard. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it. She is an excellent professor and a professional. Don't forget that. The course pak is your bible. Read the text for reference. Don't be frightened by what you hear. She knows her $%!T. You'll be a better student for taking her.

AMAZING! She is smarter then some of the doctors out there. TAKE HER. She will make you a better nurse and prepare you for the boards.

dont listen to the lazy students, take CUFF PLANTE. she has a bad rap but shell be the first nursing professor you learn valuable clinical nursing tools and education pieces from so far in your college education. if you know your course pak, which you should because everything else builds on that you will have no problem doing well. Get ready to learn in this class...Cuff doesn't mess around. She's a great teacher, extremely smart, and has high standards. You'll be a better nurse for having taken her class. It's tough, but not impossible to get a good grade. Take this professor!

Honestly I was about to fail this class, because she is very dense with the material. BUT you will learn a lot and if you put a lot of time into her notes and listen to her recordings from her lectures, you'll do fine. A lot of critical thinking and application questions, so be prepared when you are taking her!

THIS IS THE BEST PROFESSOR I HAVE HAD THUS FAR AT MOLLOY COLLEGE !!! She is extremely knowledgable in her course and willing to help you whenever you need. MUST MUST study her notes, and listen to her lecture. Record her and review the textbook and you will be fine !

Prof CuffPlante is amazing. She doesn't just read off the course pack, she uses it as a guide and is able to explain the rationale for nursing interventions and the importance of assessment. She teaches you to learn conceptually and to apply the material while caring for the patients. The class is not easy , but you're in nursing school, grow up.

Really hard, will have to study all the time. It almost becomes your life. However she is a great professor and really knows her stuff. Not everyone will pass but if you put in the effort you can do decent. Will be a better nurse by taking her.

God DAMN shes rough. She's out to fail people. If you study like crazy you can do well, but slack off just a little and it's over for you. She knows what she's doing tho, and if you make it through you'll be better for it..... Thats a big IF tho.

I feel that I am very well prepared for the rest of the nursing program because of this professor. You can do it but it will be very hard. Seek tutoring and be 100% dedicated. However, even if you know the course pack inside and out, you need to know how to answer NCLEX type questions since that's how ALL her questions are. The textbook is useless!

She is by far the best professor at Molloy. The exams are not easy but what you learn from her will carry you throughout nursing school and your nursing career. Take her for lecture & clinical. You will be putting in a LOT of time for studying and clinical prep but it'll be worth it, I promise. Bottom line: you'll be a better nurse if you take her.

I love this woman. She is a phenomenal professor and I consider myself fortunate and well prepared for the years to come. Her exams aren't easy but putting in the time to study and really learn from her lectures is only going to benefit you in the long run. She is an incredible nurse and vey intelligent. Learn as much as you can from her!

Prof Cuff-Plante knows her stuff! You have to study for her tests but she gives you all the notes. You barely have to use the text book at all but I recommend doing the case studies! Shes a wonderful teacher! Shes considered the "hardest, meanest teacher in the program" but that couldn't be farther from the truth.... TAKE HER!!!!

Her exams can be a bit challenging but study her notes thoroughly and you'll be able to do well. Her exam questions are mainly based on nursing interventions. Be able to apply your knowledge! I would definitely recommend Professor Cuff-Plante!

She is an amazing professor. You learn so much. Take her if you want to learn. First test wasn't bad and not many people failed the first test! Best TEACHER

Professor Cuff-Plante has a reputation of being EXTREMELY challenging and it's true. In her class you have to WORK and STUDY like crazy, and if you don't then it's all over for you. If you survive, you will come out of the class with so much more knowledge. It's worth it.

One of the only teachers that will teach you anything. You may hate Cuff when you're talking the class but as soon as you leave it, you realize that her class was probably the best thing that happened to you. So knowledgeable and to the point, no one will teachprepare you for nursing and critical thinking like Cuff Plante will.

Amazing professor. Very hard tests but they're all based on her lectures. Definitely record her lectures and type up your notes from that. She is great because even though the semester was hard I am having a great time in med surg 2. She seems hard to approach but is really nice and willing to help you out any way she can. Just have to actuallywork

Professor Cuff Plante is the most amazing professor in this program. I got an A in her class, though it was not easy, its possible. When you move on with the nursing program you will miss her class. I am much more confident in myself after taking her class!

Professor Cuff is an AMAZING professor. Yes, she is extremely hard and yes, you will study so much but it is SO worth it. Her tests are all about interventions. She is extremely knowledgeable and puts in a lot of time for her students to pass. I feel so much more prepared as a nursing student, I feel as though I learned so much!!

I just took her for the 2015 spring semester and let me say this woman is INCREDIBLE!!! Those who don't take her are lazy students & scared!! She is the so knowledgeable, kind hearted and very dedicated to her profession! She has made me a GENIUS! and i will be a better nurse because i took her! Study study study & it will pay off!!

She is tough, and you will want to cry... but when it is over you will be thankful you had her as your professor. She is the brightest woman I have ever met. Her exams are extremely difficult but they will set you up for success. This class has pushed me to become a better student. If you want to learn take her, she will have you set for med surg2!

Cuff is a genius, she is the best professor at Molloy!!! If you want to challenge yourself and become the best nurse you can, take her. You won't regret it. Her tests are very tough, but pay attention to what she says in class and in her course pak. Her course pak is soooo helpful, I use it for all of my other nursing classes.

Prof Cuffplante is by far the BEST professor I have ever had. She has taught me so much valuable information that I will need in my future nursing career. Her course pack is my bible and I still use it 4 MS2. I would take her again if I could. This is NURSING SCHOOL, nothing worth having comes easy. She's hard but completely worth it STUDY! LUV HER

Professor Cuffplante is one of the toughest professors here at Molloy, but by far the absolute best. She is so knowledgeable and has taught me so much that i will carry with me for the rest of my life. Her course pack is everything & i still use it in Med-Surg 2. As long as you put the work in, youll do great in her class. Very approachable too!

Shes difficult but if you actually work hard and show improvement she will help you get through it. I admit her exams are hard, she rolls her eyes and gets very flustered but if you actually put in the effort she WILL help you. Watch her panoptos, find a good study partner, meet with her after exams and go to exam reviews.

Cuff-Plante is a challenging professor but the most knowledgeable professor I've had at Molloy. Her tests are challenging but if you make the time to study and watch the panoptos before class there is a great chance of passing. She makes her students critically think and apply yourself in the field.

Although she is known for being one of the toughest professors I absolutely loved her! She has so much knowledge and her tests are difficult but she prepares you with boards level questions. Watch her panapto's before lecture, her panapto's are your lifeline to pass this class!! She's very helpful as long as you put the work in!

Hardest prof I took but do not regret it! She really encourages critical thinking/analysis. In depth lecture so I recommend watching the panoptos BEFORE class so you get the most out of it. I watched panoptos and did great on in class quizzes. Didn't use book except for the LWWpoint site review questions before test, very helpful for her exams.

Her notes are like your bible. she is amazing and prepares you for the rest of the program. its a tough class but that is expected, and if you expect anything less then I'm sorry lol. I would so take her again. she knows her stuff and when her panoptos explain everything. come to class prepared and you'll be good.

Cuff-plante is a good professor. She knows her stuff. Her tests are difficult with lots of critical thinking and tough SATA! You must listen to her panoptos before class. Lecture can be a bit repetitive with the panoptos. Not much application done in class which made it difficult for me.

Professor Cuff-Plante is absolutely amazing. Very understanding and caring. She has taught me more than I could've imagined in just one semester! Her class is a lot of work and you need to put the time into it. Panoptos are a big deal but she helps connect it everything in lecture. Pay attention to the case studies!

Prof CuffPlante is an example of a devoted health care practitioner who truly wants to extend her knowledge in the field to others. Watch the Panapto on time weekly while following & taking notes in the course pak. STUDY THE CASE STUDIES! This is the application students struggle with. You will be lucky to have learned from her, she is wonderful.

Professor Cuff-Plante is a great Professor. She truly does care about her students. With that being said, her tests are super challenging. I studied weeks and put in so much time to fail her first exam and just marginally pass her second one. She does, however, offer extra credit which is slightly helpful. Be prepared to study to butt off!

Don't let professor Cuff-Plante's reputation stop you from taking her class. Its a lot of work but you'll learn so much from her. Her class is difficult but if you put in the work you can pass. She really cares about her students and offers extra credit to boost your grade. She'll go above and beyond for you as long as you put the effort in.

My absolute favorite professor. Going to learn so much in this class! Let me give you some hints on how to get an A as like I did. Do all the recordings take little notes in your COURSE PAK (BIBLE). DO THE CASE STUDIES ON YOUR OWN. She will go over them in class. Figure out in the case studies how everything works, understand it. YOU GOT THIS!

She will make you work HARD but definitely worth it. Learned so much from this woman she is amazing. But you definitely need to be fully committed- a lot of outside classroom work. DO the case studies before class. Go see her during office hours- such a sweet lady and willing to help. You will be SO prepared for the rest of the program!!!!

She's great but her teaching style is different, which is why many students didn't like her. If you put in the work and watch the panoptos before class, and do the case studies before class, you will be good!

Professor Cuff-Plante is one of the best, if not the best, nursing professor at Molloy. She is so smart and will teach you SO much. Her class is really worth the tuition. I have learned so much from her, and I think my overall critical thinking skills have improved so much and prepared me for the clinical world.

DONT LET THE OTHER REVIEWS SCARE YOU! Cuff is actually an AMAZING teacher. Her class is a lot of work. She is very organized and very fair! She wants to see her students succeed- many people think shes tricky but she isnt out to get anyone. Tests are hard, her class forces you to crictical think. I swear by the course pak AND DO THE PANAPTOS!

Not sure why Prof. Shahs 209 class was full, while MCPs classes are not even half full. Both make you work extremely hard for a good grade, with similar, extreme, time requirements for their courses. However, Shah is almost entirely self-taught, while MCP for 299 focuses on what is truly important for your career. She prepares you phenomenally.

Professor Cuff-Plante is the best! Yes, her tests are hard, but they teach you to think like a real nurse and prepare you so much for your future career. Watch her panopto's before class and add notes to the sheets from her coursepak. Do not bother buying the online textbook, though; never used it except for extracredit. She seriously is the best!

Med-Surg is a very difficult class no mater who you take. MCP prepares you for the real world tremendously. She was definitely tough, but I came out with so much knowledge from her. I failed the first test but was able to pull myself together but it's a lot of work. She is the sweetest most caring professor I've had at Molloy. I love her!

Im so thankful I decided to go with my gut and take Professor Cuff Plante. She is tough but will prepare you IMMENSLEY for nursing. I learned so much from her and she really does care about her students. Every nursing class is difficult but she knew her stuff and made sure we all were comfortable with the material
