She starts out cool and towards the end when your major projects are due she decides to nit pick you to the extreme. So be careful not to get to comfortable in her class because you will be blindsided in the end. Quizzes are online, you get 3 chances and only 10 questions. Attendance is very important and you will fail if you don't show.

Participation in a speech class matters. So if you don't want to actively discuss in class then don't complain about your grade speech is communicating. This class was fun and the professor was very helpful and answered all types of questions. I highly recommend her. If you're looking for an easy A handout, go back to high school!

This instructor is just great. She has a personality that makes you want to come to class. She makes the class very interesting and relates all of the subject matter to things that you will encounter in your own life. I just wish that she taught more classes that I need for my degree requirements. Because I would definitely take all her classes!!

Just finished this class for the Fall semester. It was amazing! I learned so much, and Professor Cunill was awesome! I actully looked forward to going to class. Book isn't really needed. TED talk, answer 5 questions about the talk, and a 10 questions test weekly. 4 minor projects throughout. Class is worth 20 points participation. Would take again!

This course was absolutely amazing from the first until the last day. I never wanted to miss class because the lectures were so interesting. Everything you learn can be applied to some part of your life. Take this course, you won't be disappointed.

I absolutely loved this class. I learned so much out of this class and it was not stressful. She give clear grading criteria and if you do the homework you should not have any problems. There a few papers, questions weekly after watching TED talks and a quiz. I would take anything she teaches.

I had her for Interpersonal Relationships to fulfill my speech requirement for my AA. The class was amazing!! It teaches you how to communicate effectively in relationships!! She taught me SO much and has truly changed how I look at relationship problems!! You have to write papers but is only graded on content. She loves to help & is amazing! TAKE!

Dr. Cunill is the best professor at FSCJ. Took her online class, you need 5 audience members for 4 speeches . She's very understanding, grades quickly and all around awesome. No book, no tests, do the discussions and speeches and you are golden! I had a terrible fear of public speaking but with her, I conquered my fear. You won't regret it!!

All you have to do is show up, be willing to learn, and do the homework, and you will pass. The homework is just a one-page response to a Ted Talk about intrapersonal communication, and they are super helpful. You can tell that she loves what she does and that she wants you to succeed. This class was the BEST class I have taken, and if I could take it again I would! The best professor, clear and explains expectations. She is absolutely amazing. Her class is mostly conversational instead of solely lecture based. In class, we would usually discuss the communication problems in our personal lives and look for solutions. There's a quiz every week over a chapter or two. Also, you have about three trials for the quizzes and the best one counts. Good luck!! :)

Even though the face-to-face class was cut short and transitioned online due to COVID-19 her lectures were amazing and is a true and genuine person. The online discussions were amazing as well. I loved taking Dr. Cunill (Lee) this semester! There were no speeches in this course. This class primarily focused on communication skills and how to improve relationships in our lives. I highly recommend! There are quite a few assignments, but they are not difficult at all. Dr. Lee gives excellent feedback and makes everyone feel welcome.

She was wonderful! She truly is a great speech teacher. From day 1, she started off on a good note. Literally all u have to do is just pace urself with the speech writing, and then its easy. She gives u outlines to fill in along the way which help a lot. Just know tho, if u do not turn in ur outline u will NOT be able to speak, which can hurt u.

This professor was one of my favorites. The class is not a hard class. You just half to do the work. You will have 4 speeches you will give in front of the class. She makes it's easy even knowing how nervous you are> Very soft spoken and very helpful if you don't understand what you are doing. She's always available. I would take any of her classes

For someone with anxiety, she's perfect. If you have any fear when it comes to public speaking, take her class. I had four speeches to do. Basic discussion and quiz between speeches that are open book. Use the learning unit in the module, and you'll do fine. She is great for those who are afraid of public speaking. Dr. Cunill expects you to do the work assigned to you. If you don't do the assignment correctly, she gracefully allows you to re-do the assignment. There are 3 or 4 speeches you must research and provide an outline. Dr. Cunill will help you whenever, she is also responds to emails within the same day.
