i actually understand when she is teaching, i would go to the exam without studying and get a high grade and that's because she knows how to stick infos to the students' brains

No one droped the class ..She brings the lecture to a relateable form. Great in the art of teaching.

She is very nice and hot lady but her test aren't easy. She will give u 3 test plus 3 project to do. All those test and project are ur grade. I got C in her class.

She gives excellent notes. She make class very fun. Her exams are fair M.C are easy however her essays are a bet hard because it can be anything on the lesson.

She curves the final which is great! I was in her intensive writing class... I got good grades on 2 exams and on a takehome exam. I failed EVERYTHING else. And I still got a C!!!! She rocks! And I actually gained some knowlege from this class, which is not typical for me.

This professor is a great speaker, and her quizzes are very fair. As for her tests... will tell you to ignore certain things only for them to show up. Likes being tricky with wording. My best advice do not take her during Winter or Summer and study everything.

Shes the BEST BIO professor in the school. I am taking her for BIO 11 and she is awesome. The material is hard, but thats bc bio isnt easy. She answers all questions, she makes learning fun, creates a friendly environment, her quizzes are easy. A is possible...unlike other bio techers where you have to be a genius to get an A. NIce Lady.

This class was extremely interesting..she def. knows how to relate biology with things we ALL wonder about. She is extremely fair and caring about her students. Not only is she funny but you end up learning a lot. She also does the bio portion of the NLN review and it was an absolute fortune to have her versus any other bio prof for bio12.

Class is extremely harder then it needs to be largely due to the fact that she refuses to give reviews or a clear outline of what to study for the test. you end up having to cram a ton of material.

Dawson is one of the best professors you can find in the bio dept. she is very clear! if you decide to take her she gives lab reports and then quiz right after in lab and lecture is multiple choice questions with one question emailed to you prior to the test. the final now is based on all the material from start to finish!

It was a pleasure taking Professor Dawson's Human Anatomy & Physiology 1. I learned a wealth of information, that now I have the building blocks to start Human Anatomy & Physiology 2. Although she gave me C+, I still would highly recommend taking her class, she knows her stuff, and the reason i received that grade is not at all her fault, I just decided to slack off and procrastinate in studying for given material. She was a lot of help for my bio 12 class, I had a rough time in bio 11 because my professor was so rough but Dawson was amazing because she teaches in a way that you want to learn more. Her tests are average, if you go over your notes and power points well, then you can get an A.I wish she was an option for bio 51

She gives power points and study guides to help study for exams. She explains the whole lab before you perform it, there's no way you can't get a good grade unless you don't study.

She's the epitome of what a professor should be. Very smart, long lectures but makes a lot of jokes so you don't fall asleep. Hard tests. A lot of notes but she posts them on blackboard. very down to earth but she takes no bs either. if she sees you work , she will help you out a lot.

If you wanna A you have to deserve that, you need to work hard, read and study, tests are not hard, labs also, but again, you have to study. After every test she will give you a chance to do post exam wrapper and boost up your grade up to 10 points.

There was 3 exams and one final. There's an opportunity to earn 10 points each on the first two exams. Read the textbooks, print out and review the lecture slides and go to tutoring if want to be successful. She's a great professor who wants you to succeed but u have to put the work in. I got an A. Highly recommended but u have to work hard.

I would def take her again if I could for other bio courses. You will have to study hard in order to get a good grade. You can't pass Anatomy class thinking you don't have to study and actually try. Read her Powerpoints and understand the materials. She has exam wrapper after each exam adding to 10pts extra. Take this professor, she is wonderful.

Professor Dawson is really great, but she moves really fast. She tends to provide detailed study guides and resources for the more complicated topics though. Still, the class is best for those who catch on quickly.

M. Dawson is one of the best professors I've had at KBCC. Her lecture style will pull you in and make you love learning about biology. She moves quickly, but its not hard to keep up. Dawson wants to make sure we all understand the concepts rather than go home and memorize. Exams are all short answer, the online textbook is an amazing tool too.
