Ms Gore is really nice she's very helpful and actually offered future help sheould we ever need it she said her office was always open.She takes her time to explain.I'm sure you'll love her.

She made the material clear and easy to understand. She was also very enthusiastic about statistics which made the class more enjoyable. A review sheet it given before every test, and she is always willing to give extra help to sudents who need it.

Great math teacher! Made me finally understand things I was lost with in high school. I took the summer condensed session and she didn't waste any time. Completely willing to help. First math teacher that didn't try to make me seem stupid instead of answering my questions.

Gore was really nice and willing to help her students.I found her class to be easy even though I though her second test was hard. I came to class late every morning and missed a couple of classes and didn't use the book and still recieved a "B" pay attention . other than that she cares about her students and her door is always open for assistance.

Wonderful, outstanding professor. She makes up notes that are so crystal clear I never need to open the book. I learn so much in this class I don't want to miss a day. Very easygiong and laid back. Really cares about her students. I strongly recommend Prof. Gore. I wish I could take her for all my math classes.

Absolutly outstanding professor!!! If you take stat, take it with her. My friends took stat with other professors and it was really difficult, but with Gore it's so clear. She makes the material so easy to understand. And she is very accomadating with her students if they're having trouble.

Funny & tries to make sense of math for those who just dont get it. For the 163 class she gives a lot of homeworks & quizzes but drops 5 of them, the same is with tests. MUST attend class & pay attention or you will be behind! Doesn't use the textbook in class, but you need to study!

i absolutely recommend taking her class. awesome teacher. she explains everything very clear and will help you if you need further explanation. doesn't take attendance but daily quizzes, your lowest five get dropped. textbook not required.

Amazing professor. I would take her class again any day. Very easy to follow, very clear, and the problems are very similar to the questions on the test. Pay attention, go to class (even though it is not mandatory)and study the notes and an A or B is totally obtainable.

I had her for 083 and am taking her for 163...that should say something for her.

If you don't get an A, it's entirely your fault for lack of interest, for not doing the homework, and for not doing extra practice tests. Buy the Student's Solutions Manual by Craine III. It will help you check your solutions in your practice tests, but first register to her class.

Wish there were more teachers like her. Took her for a 4 week winter class and would do it again with her. She teaches everything in the simplest way possible. Do the work and study you will get an A. Hope to be able to take her again for statistics.

She is a nice person. However, she makes her own tests & makes them very difficult. She also makes her own homework that she grades but doesn't match Any of the examples she gave in class. She takes off lots of points for the smallest mistakes. If you're shaky at math don't take her.

Very friendly and excited about Math. She took the 5 lowest Math homework grades and dropped them. She didn't count attendance which was great because I was moving this semester. Clear at teaching but you definitely have to put the effort in to want to learn. She is very upbeat and has lots of fun stories. She made sure that she covered EVERYthing

She is an absolutely AMAZING teacher. Walking into a statistics class, I was ready to be confused all semester, but with her and the way that she structured her notes, there was no way I would not only pass the class, but get an A. She makes everything very easy to understand and she gives a ton of practice problems for each chapter.

you absolutely will enjoy this class. i hate hate hate math but this professor made the math easy to understand and fun to attend. just be sure you are doing your part. grades are not given.. so if you are studying and maintaining good grades your have absolutely nothing to worry about this class is not intimidating at all. would enjoy taking again

I don't even know where to begin with professor Gore, she was an excellent choice for a stats class! She made stats fun although I never thought I would say that. I would recommend anyone who struggles with math to take her, I'am more than greatful to have had the opportunity to have her as a professor.

Math is a strong subject of mine but Stats was difficult. From what I've heard about other faculty members, Gore is the teacher you want. She explains things as clearly as possible and is always willing to stay on a subject for longer periods of time if the class is struggling. By far one of the nicest teachers I've had

I'm not a math person but Professor Gore is awesome. You get to use Stat Crunch which is something you can use to help you do problems. (I was nothing with out it). She cares about her students as individuals and wants you to succeed. As long as you practice the problems you will do well. I went to her office hours a few times and she was awesome.

I LOVE HER!! She's the best&she cares SO MUCH! So many chances for extra credit there's probably 30pts in xtra credit & shes so nice&always active in class ,there's group work maybe twice a week and she lets cards do the picking which is also great because u meet new ppl in class. There's no way to fail,i hate math but she made me LOVE STATISTICS

Come to class, complete your (online) readings/homework, utilize the resources like the test study guide that she provides, and you will succeed. She cares about her student's success, and tries to make stat as easy as possible. Definitely recommend if math is not your forte.

Prof Gore was a real gem. She truly knows her stat and makes it clear and simple to understand. I've heard horror stories about statistics but she really made it fun. She was always available to help students who did not understand, and definitely cared for the success of her students.

This class was really doable. There are five equally weighted tests that make up the majority of your grade. Only, the final one was cumulative. The class was 680 points 500 points was tests. I will say this was actually the worst prof I've ever had at returning emails. She gives you her phone number in the syllabus call during office hours.

I have not been to school in 25 years, but I passed the placement tests and only had to take statistics. In short form, I could not have passed this class if it wasn't for Prof. Gore. Her handouts really pinpointed what you needed to study. NO BOOK! She cares, is available, & made it fun. This is an accurate account of the class... she's great!

I LOVE Professor Gore. had her for 163 also. She mainly grades based off of HW and test. your highest test grade will replace your lowest. I missed test 2, I got a 90 on the final and the 90 will replace my 0. She likes group work in this class/ group proj. She knows her info and she loves what she do so shell work w/ you until you understand.

Told us to return books and instead focused on detailed handouts. Dumbed the subject down so you can understand it. Very helpful. Youll pass if you pay attention and study.

Prof. Gore is absolutely my favorite math teacher that I've had at CCBC and probably high school too. She made learning statistics incredibly fun and very understandable. She will help any student with a problem that arises and will take class time to go over the problem. The grade is very dependent on the 3 tests and final but just study!!!!

She has a sense of humor so the class is not boring i really enjoyed having her as a professor. Main thing is if you go to class you will pass. I was nervous about taking math but this course and it's setup is very simplified and has been a breeze thus far. She even gives extra credit which is awesome. You can tell she cares about whether her students pass and enjoy the course.

Very organized and grades things usually within a business day of submission. Has her own lectures that really go in depth about how to do things and has relevant examples. She breaks things down really well, even when things get harder. Great communicator. Should be the standard for every other professor at this school.

Professor Gore was my teacher in Statistics last semester and honestly, SHE'S GREAT! She is organized and actually helps you when you are confused. She'll always ask if anyone is confused, too, and she is super considerate. If you need help, she's easily accessible as well. Easy A if you are good at Math. Take her.

I had her seven-week class online and I have never taken statistics before. She made it very easy to understand in her modules and videos. Just take your time and you'll be fine. She has office hours and responds fast to emails. She's a very caring woman and you'll be blessed to have her! Take her if you can.

No textbook is required because she provides everything you need. If you complete the online modules and know the content to a level you can complete the practice problems she provides, you will do well. If you don't do well in the class it's because you didn't do your part. Math is not my thing, but I stuck with the process and did well.

She is a great teacher, she's understandable. if you know the detail it'll be great. she'll help you even if you already taken her class before. i definitely recommend her. 100% you only pass if you put in the work, and show the effort that you want to. be attentive, come to class, and participate in class.

Get ready to do 4 assignments of homework a week(~34 assignments total). There is also 4 exams total and 70% of your grade comes from these exams. 2 of the exams are online with the lockdown browser & monitor, and 2 are in the testing center even if the class is fully online. 3 discussion boards and a project. Make sure to really study.

Great professor, provided review question before exams and was always available to answer questions if you need help or clarification. Did not make the course difficult and provided videos on to of office hours to help explain any concept that may be confusing or difficult to grasp. Mrs. Mary is amazing. I think she makes her own notes, so she isn't teaching us anything we truly don't need to know. No useless information. She has 5 office hours a week. Her practice test worksheets are the most helpful! really set you up for success.

Always offering extra credit opportunities. very happy about statistics and helps her students understand the subject better.
