Very nice teacher,YOU MUST READ THE BOOK OR ELSE YOU WILL NOT DO WELL. Has extra help if needed and really wants you to pass, but you have to do the work. I sat in the front and payed attention and spent hours studying, but what do you expect its chemistry. I definitely would recommend her.

I absolutely love Dr. Rada. I have her for lab and she is the most interesting and smartest woman I have ever spoken to. Her labs are so much fun and so easy. Even though my lecture teacher isn't that great, Dr. Rada makes sure I understand the material. She's worth taking and worth getting to know. Idk what everyone else is saying, she's perfect.

Amazing professor. Very dedicated and knowledgeable. Made the human body make sense, and can keep your interest while teaching. As well as the online study quizzes that goes with the book is amazing.

Awesome teacher, you don't have to remember the periodic table anymore, I took her for intro to chemistry, was ALWAYS willing to help, goes by the syllabus, 3 tests throughout the semester, you HAVE to study in order to pass! teaches with power point presentations. Im taking her again because she was that amazing!

for a&p lab.. amazing woman! she really knows her stuff. she is very helpful if you need help just ask her. practicals were tough but if you really study you will do fine. she inspires me to be as knowledgable as she is with the human body, amazing. Wish i had her for lecture. Make sure you have a lab book with the lab sheets in the back.

I took chemistry before her class and got a D. with her class I got an A. she was awesome. offered so many opportunities to higher your grade and extra credit. one of the best professors at occ! definetely take her if you can!

Dr. Rada is an amazing professor. I took intro to chem with a previous very horrible professor & taught myself everything. That semester I received a D. I retook the course with Dr. Rada & received a B plus. She is very knowledgeable & helpful. If you stay on top of your work you will have no issues passing the course. She offers extra credit.

Very amazing teacher. Super flexible and will help you if you put the work in. If you do not put the work in then how can she help you? Just talk to her she is very easy going and understands if you are having problems with the material. Would definitely take her again.

Professor Rada is excellent! She knows her material very well. She always has real life examples to relate information to. She gives many hintstips to help remember information. There is homework & the tests are difficult. The harder you study the better grade you will receive simple as that. She did offer extra credit opportunities.

I took her for chemistry and got an A, that's why I decided to take her for Anatomy. By far the toughest class I have ever taken. She is VERY fair, she curves where it needs to be. I always went to her office for extra help. I wish she was teaching Anatomy 2. People who didn't like her obviously didn't put the work in and follow her simple instruct

Great Professor. Anyone who says otherwise is simply wrong. She has a lot of office hours and she is willing to help students if they reach out to her. Also curves the test when necessary and offers sufficient extra credit prior to the test. She is very fair overall and expects students to read the book. Absolutely would take the class again.

I feel the person below me had too much NaCl for breakfast. Rada relies heavily on slides from the textbook, but the slides are wrong often. So she started using slides that she was able to trust and they were good. She got in her groove and it made it easier. Did she screw up the hw yes, but she guaranteed a 100 if she couldn't recover them.

Chem is a though class but she is a great teacher if you listen and ask questions. This was the one class i took this semester that i put much of my time into the online homeworks are easy open two tabs and get the solution in one and post it in the other. She gives a lot of extra credit curves grades. The 1st test is the hardest one

Dr. Rada is an exceptional professor. I had her for a&p1 lab and lecture. She's very intelligent and loves teaching; it clearly shows throughout her classes. As long as you pay attention and look over your notes/ text book, a good grade is sustainable.

I loved her a lot so I decided to take her for a&p 2 as well. If you study you'll do well.

She plays videos in class and you write a statements on it for extra credit .loved her taking her for A&P2 as well

Professor Rada has been one of my favorites at OCC! I took her for A&P I. Going in, I was nervous, but she was very helpful during lecture and labs. Her tests are tough and her practicals are too, but if you study you'll be fine. I would've loved to have her for A&P II, but Chem 181 will have to do. She's the best!

Dr. Rada is a really good professor who knows chemistry very well. I like how she relates whatever we're learning about to real-world concepts. You need to work hard to get an A, but it's worth it cause you learn so much from her. She offers extra credit opportunities as well. If you're eager to learn, she will like you!

Dr. Rada is an excellent professor and I would strongly reccomend her for lecture. For every chapter you must do an outline and you will have a 5 minute homework assignment. Dr. Rada gives 4 tests, for each test she gives extra credit and no more than a 10 point curve. Dr. Rada truly cares about the topic and I am super excited to have her again!!!

I was really intimidated by this class but I found that Dr. Rada really cares if the student succeeds and tries everything within reason to help you do well. She made the concepts understandable and would go over everything that you have questions on. She is really passionate about chemistry and very knowledgeable.

she is actually a great professor. took intro to chem in the summer and got a B without trying hard. curved every test and gave extra credit. she is extremely knowledgeable and will help u with any question. it may not be the easiest class so if ur a lazy complainer i can see how u wouldn't be a fan. put in the work and shell see u care and help u

Professor Rada was one of my favorite professor I had at OCC before transferring. She is very helpful and cares about the students who put in effort for her class. I would say her tests were very fair and it was not hard at all to get an A in CHEM181. It's useful to get as much as you can out of the few "hard" professors who push students at OCC.

Seriously the best professor I have taken at OCC. She cares a lot about her students and gives four extra credit assignments then can ultimately boost your grade a whole letter up. Teaches the material until everyone understands, and the test is based off of the review. Study and put the time in, she will not disappoint you.

she wants people to remember what they learned and be able to apply this to there careers. the lab practicals is either sink or swim no word bank so everything off of memory. the tests that she gives in lecture are about 60 questions and choose from 5 answers. she does do a curve. shes tough but you will know stuff when its all said and done

Professor Rada is a very sweet woman and an exceptional professor. She lets you use a note card on exams, and attached to each exam grade is an extra credit assignment. She makes sure everyone in the room is on the same page, and curves each exam unless the majority of people do well. After not taking chem for 3 years, I'm right back into it. 9/10

One of the most caring and kind professors Ive ever had; really pushes you to know your stuff, has a lot of cool stories to share. Textbook not needed but online access code is. Homework is crazy long. Grades by 4 tests and extra credit. Tests are hard. Expects you to know more than other professors but wont leave you behind if you ask for help.

One of my favorite Professors. She's a sweet woman, but she makes you work for the grades you want. The only homework questions at the end of each chapter. Extra credit is offered for every test, and you can use a notecard with information on it for each test. She did a great job with the course.

I had this professor for Introductory Chemistry and will take her class again for General Chemistry 1. Although the material might be confusing, this professor makes it easier to understand and gives good examples.

Professor Rada is one of my favorite professors. She is extremely thorough, organized, knowledgeable, and she definitely cares about her students doing well. She provides so many resources and does reviews for each exam, as well as offers extra credit assignments. This is a hard class, but if you just listen to her & STUDY, then you will pass.

Very lecture-heavy. Difficult tests; study hard! Study guides aren't very helpful. 10 homeworks over the semester, ~3 hrs each, not bad at all. Requires you to read the chapters before class and then gives a short quiz. LOTS and LOTS of extra credit offered. Always strict, can be condescending; not my favorite instructor, but not a bad one.

Great Professors. She cares about all of her students- and ensures a comprehensive cover of chemistry 181. She wants her students to do well and oftenly they do- under the pretext that they study, participate and show that they care about their class. Unlike the popular opinion, Rada does care and and wants all determined students to be successful.

Liked her class! difficult but makes you realize what you need to work on. strict but caring, not condescending but can be interpreted as that. go to her office hours!!!! she will help just actually try lol

May come off as off-putting but she is matter of fact and upfront about what she expects from you. Genuinely cares about her students and wants to see them succeed. Thoroughly explains course material and lightens class atmosphere with jokes. Offers everyone every opportunity to succeed. No homework - so you better study for your exams!

She made intro to chemistry very fun and interesting and I loved the personal stories she had with each lesson. Throughout my time in intro to chem I only saw one person drop. While I didn't end up with the best grade overall that was on me because I was taking 8 classes at the same time. Be prepared to work for what you want to receive.

If you put in the time you should have no problem getting a good grade, the content is not meant to be easy. She explained things very well though and afterwards you will have a really good base in chemistry. She seemed really strict in the beginning but once you get to know her class, she is really understanding and caring for her students.

She was a great professor!! She gave homework and took the time to go over it in class to ensure that all students understood the material and would do great on exams. Take all the extra credit she gives you, no reason why you shouldn't exceed i this class. I would highly recommend her she's a great professor.

Good professor. Keep in mind this was a chemistry course and chemistry is very difficult (for a decent portion of people, myself included). given that course material is difficult does NOT mean Professor Rada is a bad Professor. Just put in the work for the class and you should get a B or higher. She offers extra credit.

Chemistry is not an easy subject. Although very exam heavy, Dr Rada tells you how TO be successful in her class by outlining the chapters, and actually spending the time to study. If you dont study, you genuinly wont pass. She gives many opportunities for extra credit so take them! She is very kind.

Amazing teacher Her lectures are very easy to understand and she answers any questions you may have She does go through the lectures at a certain pace that if you miss a class you might feel like you missed an entire chapter, but honestly everything I learned were from her lectures alone which she does post on Canvas. I would recommend taking her!

I thinks she is a very good professor I just think her class was hard and it made me not understand much I think it can get very boring at some point but I think if you really understand you might not think its boring. She is a really nice person

Chemistry alone is a very demanding course, but Professor Rada made it so much easier to understand, her lectures are very engaging and informative. Bonus: Labs are very clear and straight forward. would definitely recommend her!!

She is a great professor, is really good at explaining the material but the course overall can be really hard and she moves on fast, you have to spend a lot of time teaching yourself and reading a lot. If you don't understand something, ask, she is really helpful.

this professor is great with her teaching chemistry is a hard subject but this is by far the easiest part of chemistry. most students can succeed with a B or above but many students don't come in with the right mindset and lack the maturity rather than the aptitude. lab can be more improv based but fortunately working with partners helps alot.

Rada wants to see her students succeed but you need to participate and do your homework. If you put in the effort you will have a very easy time in this class. Very thorough in lectures and answers any questions and will go back over topics. For chem 1 I recommend taking Rada.

Professor Rada's CHEM181 class is challenging, but she makes it manageable. Her lectures are engaging, and she provides plenty of extra credit opportunities. I found Unstuckstudy to be a helpful study tool alongside the textbook. If you're willing to put in the work, you'll do well in this class.

Dr Rada was one of the best professors I have ever had. I had her for A and P years ago and she more than prepared me for nursing school. Her lectures are engrained on my memory and I am grateful as I am graduating as an NP soon. She truly loves teaching and it shows.

Professor Rada Is good lecture Professor. Her power points are nice and clear to understand and she gives us study guides to help her students get ready for up coming exams. Her exams have few questions but they are worth a lot more points. You will succeed if you put in the work. She is very nice and helps you when you ask for it.

I had a horrible grade in this class. I hated the class and sucked at chem. But, Professor Rada might rank as one of my favorite professors. The reason is because she wants to teach and she wants to be there. She is so kind and provides lots of help. I personally just sucked at chem and that's my own fault. Chemistry is a very difficult subject and I would advise avoiding it where possible. If you have to take it, though, take Dr. Rada. Definitely very tough but she does truly care about her students. She's very knowledgeable and will happily help you understand something if you ask. Her labs especially are great; very simple and straightforward.

Professor Rada is a great instructor who cares about her students. She provides guidelines for succeeding the course and offers a lot of extra credit for each exam. As long as you put in the effort, you will be able to get through the course.

Super kind and helpful. Lectures are slide-based, and they only really make sense if you show up. Workload is light(just 3 tests and 10 notes) but the tests are heavy, so understanding the material matters. She gives extra credit and allows a note card. If you show up and study outside of class, you'll do well and learn.

Professor Rada is very effective with her teachings. The expectations for passing the course are clearly outlined and she provides a lot of extra credit opportunities for each exam. Tests aren't based on regurgitation but the application of what you learn so as long as you put in effort then you should be able to get through the class.

The Rada. She wants you to succeed. She wants you to GET AFTER IT. I strongly encourage you to get with the program or get out of the way. Stop sitting on your phone outside of class and study. If you are weak sauce, she will break you. You can do well in her class if you just listen, do your work and study.

Professor Rada is absolutely incredible. You can tell she really enjoys what she does and she cares so deeply about her students success. Homework IS mandatory and the homework helps out so much on the exams. If you study, you will pass her class. I would take her over and over again if I had the chance. Such an amazing professor
