Cornerstone is a required course for freshman it's a good class that will help you with your academic decisions, helps you to think critically. I would highly recommend this class it's fun and easy to pass you just have to show up and do the works which is not even hard!

This Professor made my first time experience in college great!! A lot of the assignments were easy and very helpful. I would definitely recommend taking this class with this Professor. She is very helpful and patient with students and makes sure students understand what is being talked about in class. This class also helped me in other classes.

Lectures are important to your development as a human. You might be able to pass without attending but you will NOT learn if you are absent. Class participation is very essential and beneficial! Writing assignments are elemental easy; if you put forth the work you will do great on the writing assignments.

Professor Schultz is awesome. This class revolves around self analyses. She makes you think about yourself and provides tools for success. Go to class, participate and turn your assignments in on time and you will have no problem passing.

We had a lot of Journals due and the GPS project was very easy, the professor helped you with homework assignments and isn't tough when grading.

Show up, participate, do the weekly journals and you'll pass. DON'T WAIT till last minute to do the GPS assignments that she gives out in the beginning of class. Otherwise, she's super nice, but not lenient on tardy assignments.

There is one big group project, but she was willing to help throughout the entire thing. You do work in groups sometimes in class, but it only lasts for about 5 minutes. She mostly uses powerpoint, but she goes in depth describing them, which I loved. She is always very positive. I would definitely take her class again!

The syllabus was clear and easy to follow. She is a stickler when it comes to late assignments. An easy A as long as you attend the class, turn assignments in on time, and ask questions if you don't understand the topic of the journal entries.

Attendance is part of your grade. Sometimes she can be a little patronizing. VERY easy class, just a lot of work. Easy A. Boring classes.

She's nice and if you talk to her one on one, she'll take a liking to you and help you out with grades. She's considerate of certain situations, don't DON'T MISS CLASS!

Great professor!! Classes are very easy and she likes to help and interact a lot. Attendance is a grade! Has you do a journal entry every week (only 250 questions) and an online exam once a week where you can use the book and notes... I recommend just getting the online version of the book, don't need anything else besides a notebook.

She is a great professor and great person. She is clear and to the point. She makes class fun but don't miss class. She is strict on attendance and a bit of a tough grader. A good bit of homework, however the homework is not too hard. No tests but around 8 journal entries. She loves her students and I would recommend.

Generous teacher with a positive attitude, she made Cornerstone a breeze with small journals here-and-there and overall classwork is based off of working with groups all class, talking to peers, and collaborating. She gives good feedback and gives you chances to really make up for work or get it in late for reduced points.

There is some group work, so be prepared for that. Usually she will assign you your partners. If you do the journal entries and easy quizzes it is a easy A!

Cornerstone is an instructional course about how to succeed in college. It wasn't necessary for me to take it as I had enough transfer credits to get an exemption, but it certainly paid off in the long run. She did a great job of walking the class through the topics.

She's very sweet and very clear on what she wants from you. She's strict about late work (50% off if it's late) but just stay on top of things and you'll be just fine. Get started on your GPS early in the semester or you'll have a stress breakdown halfway through the semester. Textbook isn't really a must. I never bought it and still got an A.

Explain the material really well

Some people have bad attitudes about taking this required course and take it out on instrucotr. IMHO, Dr. Shultz is the best for cornerstone. Some of my friedns told me about really boring instrucots they had, but every class with Dr. Shultz was good, we were busy and active. I graduated from high school over 15 years ago, but I learned alot

I really enjoyed taking her class. I came every single class and never found any of the classes boring. She was a lot of fun even tho it was mostly just lectures. She's very fair with her grading and very clear what she expects from you. As long as you do the work the class is pretty easy! P.S. Get the GPS done early!

I was looking forward to this class, but I found myself a bit disappointed. I really like the teacher, but all you really do is listen to lectures and a few activities. You have to do a couple of papers, online assignments, and you need the textbook for some assignments. However, you do need to show up to class and you will pass.

Dr. Schultz is direct and straight forward. She gives fantastic feedback, even if she gave you an A on a paper. If you don't complete any of the weekly discussions or flipgrid you will get marked off. She is very thorough.

Professor Schultz's class is real easy if you just do the work. Open book quizzes, sticks to the syllabus. Gives very good feedback and wants you to learn from feedback. Encourages you to expand your mind in critical thinking and not just put down on paper what you think she wants to read/hear. Definitely would have her as a professor again.

Professor Schultz was the first class I had taken since attending college and I went to her through recommendation of a friend. Lets just say, I cant thank my friend enough for showing me Marys class. She was one of my favorite teachers and she makes you look at college and life at a whole new perspective. There are no tests taken in this course, however there are many assignments given such as essays and discussions. There is one group presentation and a final paper at the end of the semester instead of a final exam. The course is simple yet still very informative as long as you put in the effort.

Professor Schultz was great! She explains expectations for assignments well and has interesting lectures. Her SLS1515 class is pretty easy as long as you show up and do the assignments. You will have one assignment due on both Wednesday and Sunday each week.

My overall experience with this professor was great! Assignments are connected to the previous lecture so they're pretty light and easy. Carefully read the rubric for the journals, as she is very strict when grading those. She tends to ask questions and call on people, so pay attention. There is no final, but you do have a group presentation.

One of the best teachers I ever had. Her lessons were really fun and helpful if you want advice to help you with your career. She cares about her students. There are 4 essays which are easy 500 words. There is 1 group project and presentation and 1 major project about your career or activities around the campus (you get to choose which).

My semester with Dr. Schultz started slow, but I grew to love her. The lectures are fun and she keeps everyone engaged. There are 4 journals you need to complete that influence most of your grade, so make sure to do your best on those. There's also 2 projects, but they're easy. Otherwise, she's a real easy grader and I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Schultz's Conerstone class was amazing! She gave substantial feedback on all assignments. All of the assignments were well-explained and easy to understand. I recommend you take her class!

A very punctual but a good professor overall. She has a way of doing things that help many people who struggle with deadlines and procastinations.

Best Professor I've had at Fsw hands down. She teaches each topic very clearly and is not a very rough grader. If you attend the class and do the work you will get an A.

Professor Schultz's Cornerstone class is great - she provides detailed feedback and clear instructions. While attendance is required, the assignments are manageable. I found Unstuck ai and the free textbook helpful for studying.

Gave lots of good information for where things are at FSW, course tips, and more. She is very nice and funny at times, making sure to keep her class engaged throughout her lectures. Sometimes did activities to demonstrate her explanations, keeping things fun. There was only two major assignments that take a longer bit of time.

Just do the work every week and don't fall behind. Do your part during the group projects and be prepared to adapt!

I would definitely recommend taking professor Shultz. She explains all the math problems. If you are still confused she will break down the problem for you. The only way you can get a bad grade in her class if you do not show up to class. Attendance is graded. Also if you do not take accountability to ask for more help. She is very understanding.

Dr Schultz is the best math teacher I've ever had. The way she explains things is helpful and makes it very easy to understand. I would definitely take a class with her again.

Mac 0057 was my first college course and Dr Schultz is the reason I am able to do good in my current math class she also teaches cornerstone overall she's an amazing professor

4 writing assignments + final essay for exam, all broken down for us and easy to write. Gives great instructions. Lots of class + group work, but you'll survive. Very, very nice woman. Gives ample time to complete assignments and was immediate to answer emails. Gave effort in trying to remember everyone's names. Journals 30% of grade, GPS/MGP 20%

The only bad thing is that she does not let you use your computer to take notes, besides that you should be fine if you do her assignments. They're all super easy if you pay attention in class and most of her homework can be done in one day. She's also super sweet and will understand everything except late assignments.

This teacher has been one of the best! She is kind and constantly reminding you on what there is to come so you don't forget. She puts in tons of effort and actually teaches you things you didn't know. The grading is fair, you obviously need to do your work as best as you can. She is a 10/10 teacher and I wish I'll have her again!
