Prof. Flannery is a great teacher who looks out for her students. You really can not do bad in her class because she give you word for word in your notes on what is going to be on the exam. Prof. Flannery is fair and consistent. Her exams are based on the class notes. Just make sure you attend so you don't miss anything and you'll get an "A". She is kind and considerate toward her students. I enjoyed her class very much. She has a good sense of humor too.

She teaches a little fast but you can print out her powerpoints from webct. All of her tests are directly from her notes and they're all multiple choice. You can def get an A as long as u study her notes. She's very helpful and understanding too. Def take her if u have a choice.

She is not easy, but she makes you learn. She will help you as much as she can by doing such things as responding to e-mail questions, ideas on memorizing things, what you will really need to know, etc. This was the first class that I took when I was thinking of changing careers and becomming a nurse. She has been one of my best professors ever!

Prof. Flannery is a great professor, anyone who wouldn't agree really doesn't know what they are talking about. She is very helpful and is always willing to answer any questions. I took her for Summer I and I recieved an A in the class. The course itself isn't very easy but she has helpful study guides and review sheets.

She is hands down one of the best Bergen has to offer. Granted she does go over material fast, but there is a lot to cover. She loves what she does and it shows. She is also available for help. Book not needed but lab book is.

Took her for The Human Body and got an A! She is awesome. I never thought I could get an A in a class like biology but she teaches at a steady pace, will answer your questions so you understand, and gives lots of extra credit. You have to go to lab and lectures but they are VERY relaxed and easy. You also have to be willing to study. TAKE HER!!

Great prof who really cares and wants her students to do well. Put in effort this not an easy subject/course, 6 exams, 2 practicals. Has ppt notes available for print on Webct. You can probably get by without text book. Recommended for those going into health care field. Very knowledgeable almost geek like.

TAKE HER! 6 exams which is everything on the study guide as well as the little quizzes she puts on WEBCT. 2 practicals. 1st practical is a little hard but the second one is cake. Just study and you'll do great.

She is the best. Its a lot of work but she is very helpful. She gave a surprise open note exam for the last test. Make sure you STUDY STUDY STUDY !!. She is not here to trick you so the tests/quizzes are straight forward. If you can't make it 8am for lab's i advise you not to schedule the class during that time. But she ROCKS !

I am only half way done with the semester ! SHE IS THE BEST! TAKE HER! I took A&P and dropped it last year and took it again this year with her, she is just an all around great professor! VERY caring and VERY helpful she just wants her students to succeed !

She has a sense of humor and made the labs and class fun when she could. She was always available for extra help. She’s personable and cares for her students. I would take her again in a minute.

She's awesome! Very knowledgable, helpful, and clear. Her first test is very easy and always scores out of 110. Her labs tests are cake. Only hard part of class was writing lab reports. Mine was usually 12 to 17 pages long.... Other than that, she's the nicest lady, smart, and funny!!! LOVE HER!!!!

I Took Ms Flannery Summer 1 so no matter how you look at it its ALOT of information in a short period of time. She gives out a lot of information and reads everything off the PPT. She is always available if you need to talk to her. she gives extra credit . pretty much flow her reviews do the labs and you should have no problem passing her class.

I took her Anatomy & Physiology 2. Hard...6 quizzes, 80 questions each. I didn't realize I needed to study from Studymate, maybe that would have helped. Last exam is a take-home exam. Got a B + maybe because of that and the lab. Really study for the quizzes!

Took her Summer 1 A&P &absolutely loved her. She is such a sweetheart&super helpful outside of class. A lot of the material is memorization so she reads off the power points a lot but that tends to happen with this sort of material. She expects you to know a lot for her exams, but it's all straightforward

I'm currently in her class now already signed up for BIO 209. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better teacher at BCC. EVERYTHING is on Moodle, has games for tests, which helps 1000%. I had BIO109 already w/ a terrible teacher before this & I had no clue what I was doing. She's a saint. TAKE HER!!!!

Very good professor! I struggle with sciences but she is very helpful and gives extra credit opportunities on tests. This class is not easy though. You have to study the games/activities on moodle and you'll do well on exams. I just didn't doing the lab reports.

AWESOME TEACHER!! She makes tests on exactly what she covers in class and makes up helpful things to remember important material. She puts great test games and review guides online prior to tests, and makes it clear what you need to study. She will help you if you need it. Professor Flannery is literally the best professor in bccc! she was very helpful and her tests were easy as long as you really studied her review, games, and power points! I LOVE HER! Do not second think about taking her for a&p 1 or 2. She is the sweetest persona and wants all of her students to learn. SUPER SWEET LADY! She gives 6 lecture tests & 2 lab practical exams. Also 3 lab reports are required. The 1st lab practical on bones was hard, but all her other exams were straightforward.She really prepared us well for the exams based on her study reviews & games on Moodle. Text isnt really required, but I would get it anyways. Def take her!

She is a great teacher. He lectures are boring. I did fall asleep in some. She is a really hard grader and her tests are not easy at all. You need to really set some time to study. She has lab reports that are super long. But she is very helpful with whatever you need.

I love this professor. I struggled so much in the beginning of the course. I spoke to her about my grades and how I couldn't end up with a D or F as a final grade, but at the same time I had difficulty learning the material. She helped put me on the right path, and was understanding. As long as you are willing to put the effort she will help you.

I love Prof. Flannery! The lectures move quickly but she always takes any questions and looks up information for you if she can't answer something, which I appreciate. I got an A but definitely had to work for it. If you put everything into studying and lab reports you'll do fine. Study, put work into it and DO THE REVIEW GAMES. They help SO MUCH.

Very nice professor. Listen to directions in lab or she will yell at you. Tests are mostly based on review games so memorize those. Lab reports are long but only count for 10% of your grade. I felt like I was in the bottom 15% of the class but I still got an A.

She was an absolute great help. Clear as day. As long as you put in the time to actually read/study and give yourself a chance to understand and digest the material, there is no doubt you'll succeed in her class. There was 6 lecture exams and 2 lab exams so it feels like there is an exam every other week. She is very straight forward with what will be on the exams and gives you review sheets and review games to play online. I would take her again in a heartbeat. I got on A although I definitely worked for it. She makes a hard class and hard material easier.

She is amazing professor. Her quizzes are online. Lab is mandatory. The only time you use the lecture book are for the quizzes online but the lab book is mandatory. Her exam are on the activities and the quizzes please study them. That was my problem I didn't study as much. Quizzes I did great and exams I did horrible. She is the best professor.

6 exams that are multiple choice with xtra credit. 12 quizzes on moodle that are open book. 2 lab exams where you have a word bank handy. this is not an easy class as it shouldnt be. do her chapter activities on moodle and quizzes and you'll pass all of her 6 exams. it doesnt matter who your professor is, a&p is a hard class. take her. be an adult

you have unlimited time on all quizzes. you don't have to show up to lecture but if youre doing poorly and expect help, you better show up to lecture. Youre only allowed to miss one lab. This is college and we're all adult, she expects you to be an adult and put in an effort. It's all memorization.

Well first its anatomy, so if you expect to get an A but don't bother showing up of studying think again. Anatomy is not easy so you obviously have to study. If you do her online quizzes for every chapter and study that as well you should be fine. She is an amazing professor and loves what she does.

Although her class was tough it prepared me for the nursing the program and YES you are expected to work hard but it is Anatomy- which is not easy! She was very helpful to those who reached out but you have to be doing your part. Dont expect her to break her back towards end of semester if you are failing. If you want to learn & will work take her

She is wonderful professor. Yes, this class is difficult and require a lot of work because its a science class. She will help you as long as you ask for help. She always has some extra credits on the tests. She drops one lowest test grade and two lowest quizzes. I already took 2 classes with her and taking another with her next semester.

Amazing professor. This class is by no means a walk in the park though. If you are the kind of student who leaves the classwork at the university, you are in for a rude awakening. You must study for this, you must be present for attendance, you must read and put in the time. If you can do all of these things, you will get a high grade for sure.

Professor flannery is a great professor if youre the type of person whos willing to come to class and work hard. i recommend taking w a friend. i did and it was very helpful. lots of online quizzes and each exam is on 3 chapters. she posts reviews and games to go with the test on moodle. dont have to go to lecture, she posts the pp in moodle.

Professor Flannery is a very nice and caring person and very accessible outside of class. This class can be hard if you dont keep up with the assignment especially the Pearson Lab which is helpful to understand the lectures. This class isn't easy so get ready to work for it. I would recommend taking her in person session as Microbiology is a lot!

Took her for micro; probably the hardest professor I've ever encountered @BCC. Exams require a LOT of memorization as well as reading comprehension. Lots of homework and exams too (6) the lab is tedious. Overall, I would only recommend taking her class if you have time. Unless you want to work in a lab, then get away from this!

Professor is very knowledgeable and organized (quick grader). No homework but lab quiz every week. As long as you pay attention in class and study the study guides/games she provides, you will be fine.

I took flannery for bio 209, and it was great. It wasn't an easy class but she gives great study guides that really do help you for the exams. There's also lab quizzes every week just to test your know from the class before. If you read over your notes and class work, its an easy class.

Honestly, one of the best professors that I ever had, she's very organized. Be prepared to take a lot of notes and receive a lot of information in just one hour of class. She's a really really good person and if you have any questions, she's always gonna answer you.

extremelyyyyyy test heavy, very sweet and nice professor and was very lenient and understanding but her grading goes by only tests and quizzes, no homework assignments outside of class. the tests were worth 70% of my grade. personally, I'm not a good studier so the exams were difficult for me but she always offers office hours and questions

Professor Flannery gives you everything you need succeed in her class. She provides study guides, games to prepare for exams, and opportunities for extra credit. She is super knowledgeable on the subject matter and an expert in the micro lab. This is not an easy class, but if you put the time in, you will do well. My favorite teacher at Bergen!

Amazing Professor!, would definitely take her class once again. She gives clear examples, it may be a lot of work but it's worth it. A lot of fun, the key to this class is just studying hard guys, make sure to take a lot of notes for which she would give you credit.
