Sr. Mary may be tough, but she wants you to go beyond your potential. If you look at your examples, do the even problems (since she assigns the odds for homework), do your chapter reviews at the end of each chapter, you will pass.

She is a great teacher. She is hard but it pays off. If you do your homework and spend A LOT of time on all her assignments...then her class is an Easy A. She may be intimidating..but she is not :0)

She is really light when it comes to working on a computer. Unlike calculus, you don't have to memorize anything, you don't need a calculator, and she doesn't give quizzes. Take her.

I started out hating her teaching style She teaches right from the textbook with noother examples. But after she yelled at me for being wrong, I started working with her to get my grade up. She really knows her math and just expects the best from her students. Anyone taking her upper level courses are math majors and she expects us all to be smart

Sr. Mary will make you work for your grade. She doesn't accept any bull. Her grading system is all based on how much you write down, the more you write on your paper, the more points you can possible get. If you have questions on how you were graded, she'll explain. If you need help she will explain until you understand. I've had her for 4 classes.

My professor is great!!!! This is the first math class I took where I understand what is going on. Take a class with this professor if you want to understand math.
