Great teacher, easy class, lots of bonus quizzes

Very good teacher. Always able to help with questions.
GREAT TEACHER!
She talks really slow and will put you to sleep sometimes. On the other hand, she explains things in detail, which is always helpful.
great teacher easy class if u go to the lectures definately go out of your way for this professor
Makes everything very clear, but don't expect any personal time from her.
Great math teacher that cares about her students.
very hard teacher, do yourself a favor and do not take her for math. her lectures are incredibly boring, DONT TAKE HER CLASS!
For my sort of learning style, Kutter was an excellent teacher. It's true that she will sometimes put you to sleep (my classroom was dim and early in the morning to begin with), but she will thoroughly cover the course material with plenty of exmaples.
Moves slowely makes material easier to learn... overall good teacher
Boring. The class is very big and you can't even use a basic calculator so be prepared.
Very good teacher. super easy and teaches well. yes, boring but it's math. she provides plenty of examples.
Very simple class, especially for Business majors. You can pretty much pass the class just by showing up and taking notes. If you decide not to go to class, then do the suggested homework questions for that session and the practices on egrade.com. She's really nice and willing to help.
This should have been an easy, basic math course but Dr. Kutter makes it difficult by not allowing the use of calculators. There are several quizzes a week, so be prepared to spend a lot of time outside of class studying. She doesn't answer most questions asked in class and is hard to reach.
As a person, she's really nice, and sometimes interesting, but she goes over the easiest problems in class so when you take your quizzes, you don't understand a thing.I go to every lecture and every recitation, and i do every quiz, and i don't understand a thing!!!
she is great! i thought it was really hard when i first got in there, but she did so many examples that it was hard not to get caught up, shes very thourough and i enjoy the class tremendously!
Have her for PreCalc. I made a B, but that is because of my laziness and the fact that I favor alcohol over math. She is great, helped me a LOT in her office. I had an illness which had me miss several quizes. She excused them without any problems. Best teacher for MCH1140.
Dr. Kutter is a great teacher. If you go to class you will do well. She is a great teacher for precalc. She prepares you for all of the tests and the final very well.
Dr.Kutter was an OK teacher, but she had a tendancy to over-explain really easy and basic things. I went to every lecture/ recitation and practiced for the final for days- beware- the practice is NOTHING like the final. and read the text- its easier to reteach yourself.
I first had Dr. Kutter for MAC 1105 and changed my whole schedule around to be sure to get her for MAC 1140 this semester. If she's teaching Calculus, I'd take her again. BEST MATH TEACHER EVER.
She is a great teacher. Very clear in instructions, and lets you know what to except on test. One of the best math teachers I have had.
Kutter is an AMAZING teacher. She is willing to help anyone in her office hours and takes notice of you if you go. Uses Egrade, and gives really good examples of questions on egrade in class. Also, gives reviews in class the class before the test. If you study and use her office hrs and the help center, you will recieve at least a B
She was a nice teacher who was helpful, I would take her again!
she is really nice and very helpful if you dont understand soemthing. she tends to go over easier probems in class so you need to make sure you spend time taking the quizes out of class but if you do those and go to class you should get an A---dont buy the book unless you dont plan on attending class---she gives great notes!!!
One of the best math teachers so far. Easy to understand and does a great job at explaining problems. If you go to lecture, take the quizzes, and practice tests, you should be able to easily get a B.
Ms.Kutter is an excellent teacher and I would recommend her to anyone. The class isnt easy but she explains everything to the T. I took this class over the summer and got an A. She is truly great.
Best math class I have ever had in my life. Taker her, I had Everage and I think she's better
She always goes over EASY questions in class and then on the homework and test the questions are very difficult.
Dr. Kutter is awesome!! She is by far one of the best teachers I have ever had for math. She explains things very clearly, and is always willing to give you help. If you go to class, you will pass.
She's great... I wish she taught the higher math classes that I have to take.. I actually learned & understood the material when she taught it.. Know the practice quizzes & you'll do fine...
Good teacher for Pre-calc. All types of questions which show up on tests are covered in class, at least twice.
Kutter is cool...lol she gives a lot of extra credit by bringing your PRS transmitter...She is pretty easy, just show up for class and you'll be fine. :)
DONT TAKE THIS CLASS! SHE LIKE TO MAKE YOU THINK HER CLASS IS EASY THEN YOU TAKE HER TESTS......GOD FRIGGIN LUCK.
Her classes can be pretty borning but she goes real in depth about all the material. She goes over whats going to be on tests and how they are presented on it.
Very good teacher. She goes in depth a lot so if you don't know what you're doing, she'll explain it very well. She leaves no steps out, which is helpful when learning new material. Bonus quizzes and regular quizzes are easy since you can practice them online, and take them multiple times for the best grade. I HIGHLY reccommend her.
Dr. Kutter is a great teacher. She annoyed me a bit, but she was very easy to understand. She goes through things very slowly and indepth, so if you don't understand something, you will. She doesn't take attendance, but go to class to answer the bonus questions with your PRS, they help!
She is the BEST MATH TEACHER EVER! seriously though, she is so willing to explain things to you 101 times if that is what it takes. She holds help sessions on weekends if the class needs it and she thoroughly explains concepts during lecture. She doesn't drop quizzes but if you go to class, the extra credit points make up for a missed quiz!
Easy, but not a very good and clear teacher. I would opt for Mrs. Everidge.
she was the best math teacher ever! I went into the class not expecting to do very well because math isnt exactly my best subject. But I ended up with an A. im telling you get kutter if you can. she explains this very indepth and she tries to help you in every way she can.
DONT DROP THIS CLASS! Kutter was easy, nice, really an awesome teacher! i would take class with her again..lots of bonus opportunities. very easy to understand. just one thing..dont buy the book- its a waste of money!! YAY FOR PRS! :)
Her teaching style is good if you learn well by looking at examples. The class itself is a lot more difficult than MAC1105 because there are no bonus quizzes and no extra credit. Plus, the final exam and test 3 make up for more than 50% of your grade. There is no room for slacking off in this course.
Great teacher. Examples that she goes over in class are almost identical to the ones in the tests/quizzes. Goes out of her way to make sure the students learn the material, plus gives tons of extra credit points for just being in class. Best math teacher I've ever had in FSU.
Very organized and gives great notes. Very "mom-like" (you'll understand when you meet her). Kind of nerdy but I think it's intentional.
Loved this teacher!!! She was by far the best math teacher I've had at FSU. Very intelligent and gives great notes. If you go to her during office hours she goes out of her way to make sure you understand the material.
Nice Lady...Structured Class & boring...corny jokes...attendence points...do your quizzes...final average is drastically lower that actual grades! Craming drops u frm and A to a C, like that!
Like oh my god this was like the best math teacher I have ever had. I finally learned how to add and subtract in her class. She was like a totally awesome type professor like. Go Lambda, Delta, Alpha
Take this woman! She knows her stuff, she goes over things a bazillion times, and she's very knowledgable and helpful. Get her if you can.
awesome teacher. goes over things enough times to where a majority, if not all, of the the class understands. Also has homework/help sessions every week to go over things that may have been unclear or confusing in lecture. Nice lady and she offers a lot of help
Unfortunately after going over the material a "bazillion times", I still did not understand it. She can't explain anything well. Perhaps she needs to go over it a megabazillion times. "Avoid at all costs".
Just your typical math class, she is very nice though, and if you have any trouble she is always available during office hours.
She wasn't that great. I hated how she used oranges to explain addition and multiplication. It made a whole lot more sense when Dr. Kirby used apples in college algebra. I wouldn't really recommend her unless oranges are your fruit of choice. I ended up with a big fat F.
very good teacher...willing to help...clearly explains everything she teaches and gives a lot of extra credit...strongly reccommend her
SHE'S THE BEST!!!!!
She's a wonderful teacher. her lectures arent mandatory but it really helps to attend. she offers tons of extra credit and extra bonus quizes. she offers lots of help. I've asked around and everyone whose had her loves her. She prob is the most helpful college algebra teacher and offers the mot extra credit than any teacher at fsu.
She's a really good teacher and explains everything!! i got a 100% on the final!
Dr. Kutter was the best math teacher I've ever had. I took pre-calc in the spring of 06 and got a D-, so i retook the class with Dr. Kutter in the fall of 06 and ended up with an A-. She makes everything so easy to understand, I wish I would've had her the first time I took pre-calc.
She was an extremely boring teacher. Although the class was not very difficult, she would always spend more time on easy stuff than hard. She can not keep the attention of many because she moves through material painfully slow making class seem like forever. If you could get another teacher other than her I would strongly recommend it.
Great Teacher! you just need to go to class to understand the concepts being taught and their is plenty of time to recieve help if you need it plus some of the quizs are online so you can use your notes
Just to reiterate what others have said -- you can't get much better than Kutter. Explains Algebra concepts clearly and offres plenty of help for thos who need it. She's also nice and reasonable as a professor. Highly recommended.
Like math is not my like strong suit and like with Dr. Kutter she made it well like easy. Go Dr. Kutter! yeah!
Very nice teacher. Her class is ok and the material is easy to understand. It wasn't too bad
She is very helpful if you take advantage of the help she offers. Going to class helps and she puts a nice amount of emphasise on PRS points. I like her class I'm just not that fond of math, so take it for what it's worth.
She is extremely clear and very much to the point. Not incredibly exciting, but Precalc is a departmental class so she does not have a lot of wiggle room. She teaches exactly what the online tests will show so nothing is really a surprise. If you utilize the practice tests and memorize the formulas, you will surely get an A.
She is an extremely good teacher. She offers PRS which helps your grade and the test and quiz are easy if you pay attention or just review your note. She offers alot of help to anyone who needs it. I would always recommend her.
Very good teacher. Any beginning math at FSU has the same E-Grade tests, so the most important thing is to have someone who explains the material very well like Dr. Kutter. Last semester I took this same class with a graduate student teacher and got a D. This semester with Dr. Kutter I only got 5 questions wrong on the 3 tests and final combined
She is one of the most clear teachers I've ever had. She explains everything very well and if you are a person that is easily confused, she can help you. Again, she teaches very well. I recommend her!
If you go to class you should do fine. I got an A with like a 98% on the final
I went for the PRS, then left, and I got an A with no problem. No real homework. If math isn't your thing, just show up. She moves so slow it hurts. Never touched the book.
MK is one of the best teachers there is, especially if math isnt your thing. She is so thorough that its hard to not understand. Some said that its so slow it hurts, but this is the reason you pass the class, easily! I want to go to her office hours to get help in my other math classes.
She takes attendance through mini quizzes. they are not worth a grade. every week she has a help center. take advantage!! i learned a whole lot through her. i would recommend taking her. if you do the work you will me fine
Shes really easy, explains everything thoroughly, and grading is pretty simple. She weights the tests so that you have an advantage as you learn more. I'd recommend her, mostly if you're not good at math.
She is an awesome teacher, really easy, really nice.
Good teacher
Dr. Kutter was AMAZING!! She is seriously one of the best math teachers that I have ever had. She is an extremely caring professor and has awesome teaching abilities.. my friends that weren't happy with their precalc TAs would come to my class just so they could actually learn... i would DEFINITELY take her again!!!
She is really nice and extremely helpful. She goes so slow its almost annoying but she takes time to explain everything. She WANTS you to learn and know the material. Go to class and answer all PRS quizzes. Take verbatim notes as she goes through EVERY section in the chapter one by one and gives extensive examples. Shes like a mother.
A very nice and helpful professor. She goes out of her way to help her students and provides quality lectures. On the down side, a lot of people seem to dislike lower level math so lectures were quite boring. Regardless, she's great at teaching the stuff and offers a lot of practice to help students out.
She's a very good teacher and she really knows what she's talking about. However, she tends to explain things in a confusing way. Honestly, I would go to Edny weekly (or at least for tests) for tutoring he's kinda expensive but it's definitely worth it.
Take her class if you want to get an A. Yeah, it meets 3 times a week and has a recitation, but she explains everything really well. She is the bomb!
Extremely helpful and really nice. I never opened the book bc she gave thorough notes. Math isn't my strong point and I still got an A.
I took Pre-Calc last semester and had a C. I dropped it and took Pre-Calc this semester with Dr. Kutter and I had a 98 in the class. She is a great teacher and is really clear. The tests and quizzes are identical to the practice problems so you always know the material that you will be tested on.
Dr.Kutter is best pre-cal teacher at FSU. She really helps in class and in her reveiw sessions. go to class for the prs points. Egrade is a easy system for the quizes, test and final. It is a easy class is you have taken a pre-cal or Calc class in high school
I had kutter for Business Calc, and I really liked her. She was helpful and very easy to talk to if you didnt understand the material. She makes mac2233 easy. I did notice however that guys disliked her a lot more than girls, so i would recommend her more for girls. She really is great all around though!
This class was very easy. She did so many example I got bored. Probably one of the most boring classes I have ever been to. PRS everyday. I got an A- because the final was tough because its cumulative, made A's on every test but final. I would take this teacher again.
she is such an extremely understandable teacher! I loved her! The practice problems that were made available helped alot for the test! I definitely recommend her! I got an A in her class. You do have to study though...
Great professor! Took the time to make sure everyone understood the material and makes the effort to get to know her students. I definitely recommend her as a professor.
this class was so boring a dry, i did not liek her at all , the only reason i showed up was because of prs, its not a hard class but she is so boring i just rathered to get a tutor and learn it that way becuase i couldnt understand anything what was going on with her
so boring and so dry, not fun at all , only reason i showed up was for the prs points. get a tutor
This lady is so detailed in her notes. She cares about if youre learning or not. She can get a little dry but she tries to throw in some corny jokes. Quizzes every week. Easy, passible, class.
She's a great teacher, she knows her stuff and she really wants to see all of her students do well
This class is pretty hard and u have to study alot. she goes over some things but, some things you must teach yourself.the final was pretty hard and she told us a rule than didnt apply to the final.. whatever
She talks to the class as if your a baby. However, thats why shes amazing. She doesn't just fly by the material. She lets your brain understand it. Boring lectures though. Quiz every week. You get points everyday for being in class whether you get the questions she asks right or wrong. 3 Tests. Final worth 60%. This class is easy.
She goes over everything slow and gives a bunch of examples, seriously you can pass this class just by going and sitting there and zoning out, she makes it so simple to learn
Dr. Kutter is seriously the best math teacher I've ever had. She is extremely helpful and goes slow enough so that you understand the material the first time she explains it. She always answers questions in class and she's always in her office when she says she's going to be there. Make sure you go to class, she's weird about attendance cause of PR
She was completely usless when it came to providing info for the tests...and quizzes for that matter. Half the time the TA didn't unstand what she wanted us to know. She is sweet just not such a good teacher; however, I did take this in the summer for a 6 week course. If you take her you will be taking a chance and don't waste $ on the book.
She is absolutely amazing. I completely recommend taking her for Pre-Cal. She goes through any questions students may have before continuing teaching each class. Tests and quizzes are simple, but online. She has easy PRS quizzes, which means you usually have to be in class. TAKE HER! :D
HIGHLY recommend taking her. She goes through everything extremely thoroughly so the class can get kinda boring, but it's only two times a week. You get credit for going through PRS. The quizzes/tests are on the computer, but she posts identical practice ahead of time so you can practice unlimited times. The best math teacher I've ever had.
Best math teacher ever. She could teach a 2 year old how to do calculus. Makes everything so crystal clear. There is absolutely NO WAY to fail her class. I've always been terrible at math, but she makes it SO simple. Great Professor.
She goes very slow, but that's why she's really good. She does have a monotone voice, so beware of falling asleep in class. As long as you take notes, show up to class with your PRS you'll be fine. Also, she's not kidding when she says to do the practice for each section or you won't get a good grade--I was failing until I started doing them.
Dr. Kutter has to be about the best professor I have had at FSU. Hopefully not the last. This class was not hard for me at all and I definitely have to credit Dr. Kutter. You shouldn't have to even consider another professor when you can choose her. Worth it!
She is an amazing teacher. Best that I have had at FSU. Highly recommended. If you pay attention and go to class there is no reason you should not do well. She explains things VERY clear.
I had her for pre-calc and she was extremely easy and I ended up with an easy A. However, do not take her for calculus, she is extremely difficult and grades very harshly.
Professor Kutter is an amazing teacher. She has a passion for teaching math, and it really shows during her lessons. She goes over every single problem in class, so it is really hard to get anything lower than an A.
by far the best teacher i have ever had. I bet her whole family is a math genius! i would HIGHLY advise her to everyone who takes math. She explains everything very well. Just come to class and pay attention and you will be A ok. I did have a mad crush on her too...she just loves math more than i do and thats hard to find. TAKE HER CLASS!!!!!
Dr. Kutter is a great professor especially if you have no background in math. She literally goes over everything step-by-step, which got kinda annoying since I already knew 95% of the material covered because of the math classes i took in highschool, but i'd definitely recommend her. Class is mandatory and tests aren't hard. Did not use the book.
HER CALC CLASS IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM PRECAL. Take her for Precal DONT take her for CALC. Her Tests are crazy hard, theres no egrade to make you feel prepared. Everyone in my class says they wish theyd chosen a different professor, its crazy stressful, worse than organic. I worked SO hard and got a C.
Dr. Kutter is really good! She is very clear and gives good examples. Don't bother buying the textbook for her precal class... I've NEVER needed it. All of the homework's online and it's optional, but you should always practice for the lab quizzes.
She is a great teacher, as long as you go to class and use e-grade like one or two days a week your gauranteed an A. She gives like a million examples for everything and practicing online basically tells you whats gonna be on the test. I definately recommend her.
I got an A in this class and this was after diligent studying. I make really good grades and all but the tests are worth a drastically higher percentage grade than quizzes. If you do bad on one test, you are screwed. Fortunately, I got a 100, 100, and a 92 so I did okay. Just whatever you do, make sure you study on the quizzes to make the test easi
Not the best calc 2 teacher but remember this is calc 2. She gets lost in her example problems often, again it's calc 2, but homework is harder than test problems so if you put in the work you can get a B
She an ok teacher... probably better than the rest of the precal teachers. But i thought she moved a bit too fast. However, i did take blackwelder b4 i took her, so Blackwelder totally spoiled me with her typed out notes. If kutter would have her noted typed out i think the class would be MUCH better and easier to follow. BUT take her! She's easy!
GO TO CLASS. DO NOT EVER MISS CLASS. WHEN YOU GO ALL SEMESTER WITHOUT KEEPING UP WITH E-GRADE AND YOU STARE AT THAT FINAL EXAM, YOU WILL HEAR A FAINT VOICE IN YOUR MIND ASKING: "WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW?"
She is through with her examples, but she skips some steps which causes her to get lost in her examples, a lot. The TA was more helpful. The webassign is tedious, and there's on average 4 quizzes a week, which are wayyyy harder than anything on the exam so honestly almost a waste of time. Not my favorite, but she is helpful.
Extremely easy if you're decent in math. Went to class for clicker points and watched netflix throughout. Studied stilesssfiles notes online and did online practice an hour before tests and quizes. Made a strong A. If you dont make an A/B on EVERY exam it is difficult to make that final grade in the end due to crappy grading scale so dont screw up!
Dr. Kutter is a pretty easy going teacher. Besides the fact that she stutters all the time and doesn't really know how to be an authority figure, she is actually a decent teacher. Sometimes it gets annoying, but she is TOO thorough with her examples and explains things well. I'm not excellent at math, but I got a 97, so I guess she's pretty good.
Great teacher, GO TO CLASS! If you miss a class you will be lost entirely. She gives A LOT of opportunities for questions, and makes seeking help easy. Go to class, and practice on E-Grade, and there should be no surprises.
Overall she was a good teacher. I had precalc over the summer so the end of the class was rushed. It was a bit difficult to teach yourself sometimes. But im sure if i had her in a 15 week semester she would have been great. i would recommend her.
I loved this teacher by far the best math teacher i have had at FSU she teaches u step by step and shows u exactly what egrade might ask u and how to answer. I missed so many classes to due wisdom teeth and barely did the quizzes but ended up with a B bc i did well on tests. do the practice tests and you will be fine.
I felt she was very clear in her teachings. I would take her again if I had the opportunity with another class.
Hahaha, JOKE. Nothing against her, she's a good teacher and really does try, and her online tests are extremely helpful... But if your not bad at math in the first place than take her, I study ten min the day before and get 96s on every test
Very easy. When I say clarity was crystal I mean it was so clear that at times it was irritating, like we get it. That said easy to understand, easy to get an A, though you might fall asleep b/c your bored by her overexplaining things. Go to class and bring your iclicker.
Easy Class. Final is about 50% of your grade, three tests make up 40% of your grade, and weekly quizzes make up the remaining 10%.
Kutter is a nice lady that has good examples. Her practices online really help you and she has helpful reviews before tests as well. This class isn't that hard. The weekly quizzes really don't do much to your grade since you have a final worth 50%. I'd take her again! Best precalc teacher at FSU.
She takes attendance by iClicker. She gives VERY helpful notes. DON'T buy the book. You don't even need it. You just need to do those Practice for lab thing she puts up and you'll do fine. Quizzes weekly.
She's not that bad, but one thing I want to warn is that she's sometimes not very helpful. Workload is simple: weekly quizzes, three tests, and one big final. Homework is on eGrade and is encourgaed. If you're already familiar with Precalc then you will do fine because it's basically a review and then an extension of what you already know.
She is one of the best math teachers I have ever had. Very helpful and even funny sometimes. Its stupid that all the tests and quizes are on the computer but thats not really her fault. She does an I clicker every day for attendence so you pretty much have to go.
She is a great teacher. She goes over examples clearly in class and is willing to help you if you need it. Tests generally use the most basic questions to make sure you understand concepts and are not very difficult.
she is an awesome teacher and knows what she's doing. She is very helpful and does many practice problems. do not buy the text book!! the notes are enough
She is a great teacher. Clearly loves math and teaching. Lets you know how the material you are covering may be used in your major as you are covering it. Will give unique stories about the harder topics to try and make them stand out in your memory. Go to class, and simple lectures will get you an A. Also practice, I mean it's math, duh.
Fantastic professor who teaches the material very well. Gives tons of online practice and doesn't use the book. She breaks everything down so much that at times I found myself bored...which is a good thing !
Kutter is awesome, she loves teaching and loves helping her students. She really does care. She is very clear with what will be on the tests, if you study the practice quizzes you can def get an A
Loves teaching and loves math. The class isn't easy, but she'll help you every step of the way. Learned alot in a short amount of time and if you put the time in, you will do fine.
Dr. Kutter is a sweet professor, but her 6 week PreCalc class is insane. i have always been an A/B math student and got a D+ and i would study for hours on end daily. she uses Egrade which cant tell the difference between 4.5 and 9/2. take her class in the fall not summer.
Good professor, she explains everything and repeats several times in order for everyone to understand. Those who love math will get bored, but don't start talking while she is explaining!!!For the ones that are not as good at it study or else you will be disappointed with your grade at the end of the semester.
Very nice professor, made coming to math class not entirely dreadful. Lots of opportunities to do well in her class, but you do need to study.
Generally very good at math but this class is not easy for those who are't great at math. Class can be very boring and repetitive, but if you study and practice, should be an easy class.
Very helpful teacher!
While she is a pretty good teacher she is rude when go see her in her office hours. She seems to try to make you feel stupid or even talk you down. Go to class there is iClicker questions which is a small grade. There are 3 test and and final and quizzes every friday. She tends to makes things way more complicated than needed. DONT BUY A TEXTBOOK
Her tests are some of the hardest math tests I have ever taken in my life. She gives NO examples in class that help towards the tests and quizzes. Plus she seems uninterested when a student is in need of help. Her class is boring. The thought of the grades I should have got on the tests mind boggles me and I would recommend some serious tutoring..
Overall, she did a good job at explaining the material. There are weekly quizzes during your lab class and three tests. The tests are a little bit difficult, but the quizzes aren't that bad. If you attend the lectures, you should do alright. The book isn't required though, I never even opened mine!
Units 1 and 2 will be much, much easier than units 3 and 4 because she teaches 3&4 very quickly. Office hours towards the end of the semester are crowded so do egrade practice and come to class ready. She does review sessions before every test and quiz but she spends much more time on easy stuff than the most difficult which is frustrating.
Dr Kutter is a wonderful teacher. Took her over the summer and she had note slides we printed before class and filled in easily as she lectured. Provides you everything you need to get an A on the egrade quizzes and tests. Reviews in class before every test and basically walks you through the test questions. Definitely take her!
kind lady course work is easy but tests are online and thats sucky
dr kutter is a great teacher! she takes attendance so go to class, she is always in her office and willing to help, she is a fair teacher and if you pay attention you will pass her class. she doesnt even require that you get a textbook.
Kutter is a good teacher if you understand math. If you are not a math person then go to office hours and get 1 on 1 help. She does iclicker questions usually 2 times a day. Don't skip class because learning the material on your own is hard. Overall good teacher coming from someone who enjoys math but for others I don't recommend.
Great teacher. Just show up on some days to get some iClicker points.
Dr. Kutter is extremely clear, all you need to do is attend class and take notes and you'll get a B minimum. She has very flexible office hours and goes out of her way to make sure students understand. Those who say not to take her most likely do not attend class. I recommend to attend every single class and you will most likely get a good grade.
Dr. Kutter is really sweet. She loves to help and tries to get everyone to understand the best she can.
3 tests and a lot of weekly quizzes.
Sweet, goes over everything clearly, do the egrade daily& attendance counts as an iclicker quiz
Dr. Kutter is helpful for sure. You can always ask her for help if you need clarification. As far as the nature of the class, you must take a great amount of time out to do alot of practice problems on egrade and make flashcards to memorize all the formulas. This class requires alot of time if you want success.
Practice Einstein questions and you will do great. 3 tests and weekly quizes.
Her lectures put me to sleep. She's helpful but towards the end she gets all rushed and frustrated. I wasn't really interested in the class so I didn't try as hard as I should have so I definitely couldve done better.
I just finished her class with a C and had a B+ all semester but got a 70 on my final, I would recommend going to her office hours at least every other week she is very helpful and willing to help. Don't buy the textbook, do a lot of egrade examples to see what they are like them bring the ones you don't understand into class for help. (study!!)
Pretty good teacher & has a lot of help sessions if you need them. All of the quizzes and tests are online, which sucks because there's no partial credit or anything. She doesn't take attendance but you do have to answer questions with iClicker, which count as a really really small fraction of your grade, so if you miss a class it's not a big deal.
I worked SO HARD in this class and failed it at the last minute. UGH
Dr. Kutter is so nice and cares so much about her students. She is always willing to help and goes out of her way to do review and study sessions. I would definitely take her again.
Awful math teacher in my opinion. Teaches at a very fast pace, disorganized notes, and I just found her to be really rude and stubborn. Would not recommend her to anyone
She is so so sweet. She explains everything very well and does so many examples. Go to class though because you might fall behind and she does iclicker points that help your grade. Loved her, would take her again in a heart beat
The class is not extremely difficult but it requires work. Use the egrade program to practice for tests and quizzes. Practice the egrade until you get a 100 every time. The class consists of 3 tests and about 10 quizzes. Test 123 20%30%40% of your grade and the quizzes are worth 10%. Daily iClicker questions are tallied to equal 1 quiz grade.
A really good teacher if you actually put forth the effort. She's good at explaining things and she picked good TA's that are really helpful and good at explaining things as well. Homework is pretty helpful, and the textbook is a really good resource for studying for tests.
I had an amazing TA that explained it much better than lecture but the tests were hard and hardly any partial credit was given, calculators aren't allowed so its easy to make simple mistakes that are not forgiven. The final was very difficult as her review was super long. I would suggest someone else but if not possible go to her review sessions.
I failed this class, so I'm bitter. BUT it was not her fault, actually I think she helped me out in the end to not get an F, but I still had to take the class again. GET HELP AS SOON AS YOU NEED IT. DO NOT WAIT.
