Extremely boring, does not actually read student's papers, presentations are a joke (holds up road signs: STOP, YIELD, and END), excessive use of the word "UNDERSTAND!" (35 times in one meeting).

Class is very borring , and she is not fair on grade.

worst "teacher" ever! never teaches anything just asks questions "what is a virus" then waits for an inappropriately long amount of time for someone to respond, "what is http" waitwait... so it sometimes takes several classes to finish a chapter, everything must be exactly as she says, makes you put name tags on your desk. several hours of lab work

She is mean , class is boring , and she is unfare of grade.

Any class is easy if you do the work. This women is on a power trip. She doesn't teach she just rambles. I feel like taking her class is a complete waste of time.

Teacher goes out of her way to make course difficult. Often lies directly to students about class requirements. Unable or unwilling to understand and utilize the technology she teaches about. Overall a waste of time, and the course could be learned over a couple of nights with a decent textbook. Unfortunately, she chose an outdated text.

what a horrible teacher, not just bad at teaching but a horrible person as well, just plain mean to her students, and has absolutely ridiculous requirements like you have to turn in two copies of the final or it doesn't count?!?!?!?! WHY??? test answers are given so you don't have to learn anything but follow her rules exactly or you'll fail, I did

the poorest teacher i had at MP the three years i was there. she gave me a C in the class even though i got A's on every test. her lectures were excrutiatingly boring and unorganized, she was rude to students, and her overall demeanor was severely unpleasant.

if u looked up the worst teacher ever you would find mary mills. i hated the thought of even going to her class, after two weeks only 8 peopled stayed and they were like 40 years old. i would rather get hit by buy a truck then ever take her as a teacher again. if you read this ms. mills YOU SUCK!!!! do everyone a favor and just stop teaching.

This teacher is HORRIBLE. She is rude. She really does think she is funny, but she is NOT and her class is so boring and you don't feel fullfilled from her teaching. If you go to her during her office hours, be prepared for someone who talks down to you. HORRIBLE, MEAN, BORING teacher. Do not her class. You'll regret it!!!!

She is the WORST teacher and human being EVER!!!If you want to suffer and listen to her garbage than take her. You don't learn anything from her, just from the book. She thinks that she is super smart, but she is just arrogant and very rude!!! She LOVES to make things impossible for the students and to show them how bossy she can be. She is AWFUL!

HORRIBLE TEACHER! Hardly ever goes over material, assuming the students already know the material perfectly. She is impatient and impossible to get a good conversation over the material in class. She always thinks she is right and no one else is. I don't feel I learned anything productive from the class from day one. The school should fire her NOW!

She does not make her class interesting at all and I regret taking one of her classes.

Intro to Info Systems w/Mary Mills. She has the mind of a young girl, giddy about little things relating to computing. She doesn't get out much, and she doesn't understand unforeseen circumstances. I was placed in the hospital and she wouldn't allow a make-up exam because her "one make-up a semester" rule. Even if you have a valid doctor's note.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!! she is the worst teacher i have ever had, she couldn't explain her assignments to save her life, plus her ankles crack which is annoying.

Mary Mills is one of the worst teachers i have ever had in my life...she thinks she has a sense of humor but NO just no...and seriously why do you need to write a paper for a computer class, esp a 2000 word one and then do a presentations where she threatens you with road signs(stop, yield) like wtf...TERRRRIBLE DONT TAKE HER CLASS!!!!!

i cannot exaggerate how horrible she is. avoid if possible. take it in oxnardventuraonline. shes rude. she tries to shove her opinions down your throat. she acts like shes superior to everyone else on this earth. her rules are so strict & unnecessary. she attacks students if we simply ask questions. just don't even bother with this creature.

I hate to rate professors negatively but she's just not a good teacher. She's a really tough grader and criticizes students. Lecture is realllyyyyyy boring. Doesn't remind you of important deadlines (I know it's our responsibility but c'mon), A 2,000 word paper is due at the end of the semester along with presentation. Just avoid if you can :

Horrible professor. Probably the worst professor I have had at Moorpark thus far. Her grading is ridiculous, she nitpicks everything, and she is incredibly condescending. The worst part is she is the only teacher that teaches this class at moorpark. My recommendation is to take this class online with Oxnard. You will learn more.

She likes to talk about being knowledgeable in the tech field but instead uses old information and corrects students with incorrect knowledge. It's essentially her way or the highway. She has you write a 2000 word essay in which she makes up her own writing format (based loosely on Chicago style). She will mark you wrong for correct citation use.

While I'll admit Professor Mills grew slightly on me throughout the semester, I absolutely despised going to class. It's really not that difficult to get a good grade but it was just so boring. The majority of class time was spent answering questions about homework assignments, partly because her directions are very unclear.

Literally the worst professor I've ever had to take, goes off topic every lecture, she's lazy & inflexible, even when her procedures don't make sense. Textbooks were expensive and I didn't even need to read one of the books. The class itself is easy fortunately. Tests, online labs, homework, and extra credit are all easy to get if you just study.

Mary thrives off of harvesting the tears of her students through her 3 hour long sleep-inducing stories so that she can drink them and have eternal life. You want to learn about how computers work? Great, go buy a book on amazon because you will learn more from one hour of your own reading than a whole semester of lectures from her class.

Goes off topic during lectures. Very inflexible with students' needs/schedules. Unclear instructions on assignments. All material can be learned by studying at home, yet attendance is mandatory. Requires purchase of textbook, did not use it once. Very easy class and material made pointlessly complicated and mundane to learn by the professor.

This is a class that is suppose to be very educational and important. I learned very little and the class is heavily off topic. 1/3rd of the class is a group research paper. That literally has nothing to do with excel or computer programs. Professor Mills is personally unpleasant and rude. Very inflexible.

Mills is the worst professor at MC. She's an expert in her field but should not be a teacher. The programs used in this class are extremely difficult to pass. She assigns the study guide as extra credit, but will not give any guidelines, then marks you down for not "expanding" enough on a term. There are 80 + terms. Avoid if possible!

One of the least effective, unpleasant professors Ive ever had. Personally rude, unclear on assignments, and dismissive of students concerns. Tests are composed of 75 vocab words, many of which arent gone over at all. Group research paper instructions are unclear, and she will change what she wants from you once youve already done half of it.

This is the worst class I have ever taken. Do NOT try to get ahead on the research paper because she will rip your progress to shreds. 1 week before the due date of a 2500 word paper and we had to start over because she provided NO feedback until this point. I have learned nothing, and this class is needlessly stressful.

Worst professor at Moorpark. She seemed nice at first but she is very condescending and rude.
