Unbelievable teacher, hard to get a hold of outside of class. She is very busy.I would take every class with her if I could.Very hard, but you will learn the most from this teacher in core classes for psych (201,204).Never any gaps in learning material.
Tough teacher but you will learn everything you need and so much more!!!!
Great Class, Great Teacher...Hard Stuff Though
great teacher, runs classroom great, hard material
Great Teacher, wish she taught more classes than just 201, 204, 225
Definately the best prof in the PSY dept. The material is tough, no matter who teaches it, but she will do anything possible to help her students-I took 204 w/ Sheskin & Nelson, and learned 100x more in Nelson's class, and actually had fun!!
I took Dr. Nelson for all the stats courses I needed (201, 204, 225, 360). She is the best teacher in the department for statistics. If you are really serious about psychology, take her classes.
Very demanding and hard but you will learn SO much. Also any grade you get above a B on the final, if it is higher than your average for the semester she will take the grade on your final and average it with your project grade.
very very hard and gines a lot of work.
She had a lot to say and a lot of info to give but was a really good professor. If you have nelson and foster its entertainment cause they always fight in front of the class. funny stuff.
she's very smart and def. knows her stuff...there is never a moment in class in which she will NOT be teaching or speaking, she teaches a very fast paced class, great professor, you WILL learn the material, she can be really funny too
HARD material, but Nelson outlines in a way that you actually understand it. Adds many personal stories to also help you understand Statistics in general, and it's importance in psy. Sarcastic and funny, she is definitely the teacher to take for this class! But do NOT miss a class or any assignme
One of the best ,if not the best, teacher at Western by far. Her classes are not easy but you will come out of them knowing the material and she is extremely helpful if you are serious about learning the material. Defintely take her if you are thinking of going to grad school.
she makes you work for your grade, but you come out of her classes with an appreciation for the work, the subject, and most of all, Dr. Nelson, her methods and her personality.
not an easy subject to learn (or to teach. dr. nelson does a great job at teaching it. i'd definately recommend her if you actually want to LEARN the material.
i did not like dr. nelson. she was a hard teacher and a hard grader. you deff have to work for your grade. if your normaly a good student then you will probably do just fine. the thing that sucks with her is that she loves her fav students and hates the slackers. if your willing to work take her.
did not like this teacher. the work was easy but there was ALOT of it. All of the work was pointless busy work and didnt teach me anything. dont take this class
She is the best teacher I have ever had. I barely passed H.S. math & got an A in all of her classes, b/c she is a great teacher. Most of the pple who don't like her are LAZY. Work hard & you'll be fine. She goes all the way for her students.
She is very hard teacher but you learn stuff in classes. If you want to just get a easy A do not took she. If you learn something usefully took she. So stuip people does not too she and smart people should took she okay
She is a very hard teacher but you learn stuff in her classes. If you want to just get an easy A do not take her. If you don't mind working your tail off and being stressed out all semester long, then have fun
I am not a lazy person, i worked my *** off in this class and barely got a D-. She is the worst teacher ever. She made me feel stupid and like a piece of **** on a daily basis. I never missed a class the whole semester. If you take sheskin for 201 she HATES you, especially if you ask for help. They need to fire her. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.
Dr. Nelson was a great professor but not an easy grader. I studied and average of 30 hours a week and barely passed the class. The all or nothing grading has got to go!!! My advise is don't take her if you don't have too!
shes absolutely crazy
CRAZY!!
Some will hate her, but she is by far the teacher who helped me the most at college. A very brillant lady and one that treats the students with upmost respect. She is hard, but she is not just teaching, but prepping people for excellence. When you leave college, the things she thought you will prep you for grad school or entering the field. She is very helpful outside of class, and a very nice lady to work with, despite her reputation. As a psych major it was a honor to work with her.
shes awesome a lil out there sometimes but explains everything and if u need help, just ask her she lets u pass the class even if u mess up the whole semester and then get a b on the final
AWFUL.... no other words.... just completely AWFUL...
take this class if you NEED it for your psych requirements, and go to her for extra help during her office hours. she is a GENIUS. she seems crazy but she is SO sweet nice and helpful. shes why im still in the psych program at westconn. Thanks dr Nelson!!!!!!
the best teacher i have ever had.
If you really want to learn the material, take her. She is wonderful. If you go to lecture and study, you will do well. You will learn so much. I highly recommend taking her!!!! :)
Children of Dr. Nelson may tell her that I for one understand and appreciate her grading and teaching system. She not only knows her material, but is capable of teaching it so that her students will actually learn it. Kudos to Dr. Nelson.
um shes hard she makes you do all the reading and gives no notes...you have a quiz every day and it is rated by all or nothing!!! reconsider your choice
you will learn alot but good luck passing it is not easy even if you understand the material
Easy class, easy professor. Don't let her scare you aware the first day.
This was a hard class, if you want something easy go somewhere else. She will be tough and you may not pass but you will be able to comprehend articales. I pulled a C+, work, read the work, and take notes. I guarentee you that if you do the work, you might have to talk the class again but you will have an understanding of stats
Hard professor but great teacher! You will learn everything if you study. See her for extra help. Great class if you really want to learn the material. If you want an easy A, take it with someone else.
Solid professor. You will learn everything you need, but you have to do the work. Don't take the course if you don't care to learn or just want a grade handed to you. Dr. Nelson is a wonderful professor and a pleasure to have.If you do well enough in her class, you can try to be an RA which is great. She is one of the best professors I have had!!
she was tough, but very good. she made sure the material was learned. very good professor!! im planning on taking her again :)
Took her for a summer class, had to withdrawl. useless. never wanted to help, always wanted me pass me off to the Student intern. Cancelled two appointments i had with her because she was "busy" horrible teacher. expects you to come into the class already knowing all the material
great in helping you uderstand the work, really cares for the students, class will scare you but at the end you will realize what your full potential. stick through the class study hard and it will pay off in 204 and 324, dont go for the east teachers it will hurt you in the long run!
Dr. Nelson is an amazing teacher as well as a person. People who write bad reviews obviously didnt come to class and listen. If you stay on top of your stuff and stay for extra help you will go into 204 or 324 knowing what is needed for the class. I am not saying she is easy but if you are at school to learn and get what you pay for.Take Her
If you want to learn stats, take Dr. Nelson. If you're looking for an easy A...take someone else. Her class will really be helpful when it comes to applying the stats in 324. You will work for your grade but you will leave the class knowing everything there is to know.
She does expect you to know ALL the material prior to coming in AND she will quiz you on it as well which makes it tough. She has an Supplement Instructor (SI) to help you, but.. from what seen & heard, they s/t aren't usefull as well. But if you do take Nelson, put up w/ it (it's hard) but you'll be fine in 324
Alright this was not an easy class but Dr Nelson is a good teacher. You have to really take time and study do all the work and be ready for a quiz every class. She wants you to come in knowing the material. Dont get scared off by her because she is approachable and willing to help people.
Its a hard class, but you learn alot. i feel confident going into 324 after having her for 201 and 204......defintely alot of work, and you have to go to class and keep up wtih everything, but if you do, you'll do well.
If you want to get thru 324, take NELSON for 201 & 204! I loved her! She's tough but she wants you to get thru it & understand it (tough love). I would go to her for help & there were never time limits w/ her. She has a heart & cares very deeply about her students! It's college so go 2 class b/c not showing up annoys her.
She has a style of my way or the free way. She doesn't grade fairly. She complicates the topic in way that is not possible to understand. It is better to go to other Professor to learn with less stress and in practical manner.
I've had Nelson for 3 classes and she has definitely grown on me. She intimidated me a little at first but Iam glad I stuck with her. She cares about her students and is willing to help in any way AS LONG as the students are willing to help themselves. Go to every class, do the homework, put in the effort and you will pass.
terrible experience..this lady is no joke.. good luck to any future psych majors taking her
at first she is very intimidating but by far you will learn most from taking her. Take her for 201, 204 etc. do the homework and go to class. She has a great policy - if get B on final or higher, that is your grade. Requires a lot of work, but in the end, you'll be grateful!!! i wish she taught more courses
Dr. Nelson is an awesome teacher. I took her for 201 and am taking her right now for 204. You have to go to class and do the work and then you'll be fine. Its hard materiale but with her as a teacher she really makes you understand. I would highly recommend her.
awful teacher, she really jumps off topic and talks about her life a lot,we were supposed to have many "take home activities" she only gave 3 all semester, so you can't do bad on one, she enjoys making them hard. the tests are hard, so I dont know how most people get a b- on the final, she told our class she expects a lot of ppl to do poorly on it.
The TOUGHEST yet BEST teacher I have ever had! She wont take any BS, you NEED to do ALL the reading/problems or you'll never survive, don't dare miss a day because you'll be lost and she wont show sympathy. You'll get a lot of low grades but she gives u opportunities to makeup the points and if you show you're trying, she'll help you! BEST teacher!
One of the best professor's I've had, she may seem intimidating at first but she is very helpful! She goes over material multiple times so you clearly understand. She doesn't put up with laziness so go to class and make sure you get the work done because she's not afraid to ask you to leave the classroom while she goes over it!
Everyone warns you not to take Nelson's class, but she is one of the best teachers that you can have at WCSU if you want to succeed. She was very clear and gave us plenty of examples and sat down with me when I was having trouble with material. You just need to actually do the work, take notes, and GO TO CLASS! She's really not that scary.
Dr. N is scary at first, but under it all shes actually a nice person. She is hard and you will have to work in her class, she will never give you a grade. She does grade hard, so you will get low grades all semester, but she does that because she wants you to do well on the final. If you could take psy 201 with her, it makes 204 less scary.
This is the BEST teacher I've had in my college career. She explains everything so that you can understand it and gives you enough examples to apply it to real life. The class is a lot of work, but it's a tough subject and she is very passionate and knowledgeable. LOVED HER!!! I wish she taught more classes.
Dr. Nelson is a really scary teacher but really is one of the best. She will work you to the bone, but if you read the material (which may seem like a lot) and attend every class, you will get a good hold on what she is teaching. She really makes an effort to teach you. Her grading can be harsh and unfair, some quizzes are graded all or nothing.
Nelson is by far my favorite teacher at west.conn! She may seem intimidating at first, (and at times during the semester), but it's only because she is so passionate about the class and helping students do well. She is old school as far as respect goes, so don't side talk and it will be a great experience! : )
The first time I took 204, i skipped class, did some homework and took this class as seriously as my other classes. I got an F. Second time I payed attention, did my work and applied myself. I got an A. Prof nelson will go above and beyone to help you as long as you put effort. Best teacher I've had ever
Dr. Nelson's class takes a lot of effort & discipline. If you just want to get an easy A, don't bother with her, it'll never happened!! Her class is demanding but if you want to get out of college actually knowing something take her!! she's not as bad as everyone says she is!
Assigns work that really helps you better understand the material. It may seem like she is being tough but you will end up appreciating it because it helps you get better grades in the end. She's one of the best teachers in the psych department
She's tough, but she really drills the information into your head and is extremely helpful. Go to class, pay attention, and do your work and you'll do well, simple as that
BEST TEACHER IN THE ENTIRE WORLD
Great teacher, not easy but is very helpful if you go to see her, knows her stuff and is passionate about her students. Wouldn't recommend taking her if you're looking for an easy A or if your confrontational, she'll take you down.
She is honestly one of the best professors I have ever had; she really cares about her students IF you are willing to put the effort into your work. Not easy, but well worth it.
Dr. Nelson is one of the best teachers i've ever had. She will do anything to help her students succeed as long as you put in the effort as well.
Dr. N is my absolute favorite professor at WCSU. wants you to understand and learn and expects you to work for your grade! So helpful and truly has a passion for teaching. Ill miss having her she really taught me my stats!
Dr. Nelson is by far one of the toughest teacher's I've ever encountered in my 3 years of college, BUT with that being said, she is one of the BEST, if not the best, teacher I have ever had. She can be intimidating at first, but as long as you do your work, show up to EVERY class, and make an effort, you will be fine. Taking her for 204 and 324
Dr. Nelson is awesome! Yes she is a hard teacher, you do have do a lot work. BUT you will be thankful at the end. She wants all her students to succeed. I recommend you take her for 201 and 204 if that is possible.
One of the hardest professors I've had, but also the best professor. The class requires a huge amount of time and effort but it's totally worth it in the end. Dr. Nelson really does want to help her students succeed. She may seem mean or cold but she really is a sweet lady! Take hr for 201,204, and 324 if possible!!!
Definitely the hardest teacher I have come across in college so far. She expects a lot out of you, and gives a lot of work. However, she is great. she is very good at explaining how to do the work. I am retaking this course this semester, and the things i was completely lost on last semester are so easy now that I have her. Take her classes!
She is a brilliant woman in her field. Openly prides herself on how many people she can intimidate into dropping her class, apparently a fun game to her. Like with most N you must have a strong personality to deal with her, but hide it and remain neutral and distant. You will learn as if you were at an Ivy League. Smart/empty/crewel/ passionate.
Dr. Nelson is definitely not in my top 10 professor list but she can be very nice at times. She is not helpful i don't think. Her night class is hell and she doesn't let you out early ever! Although she is not the best teacher she's the only good one out of the 3 that teach it.
She's a tough grader, as she counts every question on a test all or nothing. If you get one part of a question wrong, you get the entire question wrong. However, she is very fair. She's respectable and is very nice when helping me 1 on 1. She gives a lot of quizzes, but only does it to help you understand the material. Don't skip class!
She is a great teacher, but she only begins to help students at the end of the course. throughout the course she is always pushing students to do better. Grades on a all or nothing basis and that basically screws over many students. I know the material, but if you get one thing wrong in a 3 part question the whole thing is wrong.
Hardest psych class to date but I still passed with a B-. She's a hard grader, so studying is a must. If you get one part of questions wrong, the whole thing is wrong so BE CAUTIOUS! She challenges students and actually gets you to memorize the material.
Dr. Nelson is your best shot at understanding stats. She is really helpful and offers a lot of guidance.
Dr. Nelson is hands down the best Psych Professor at WestConn. She is passionate about what she does and wants everyone to succeed. She is tough, but means well. Attendance is key. Lots of quizzes and tests. Don't be afraid to seek for help, because if she sees that you are trying, she will do her best. She's the reason I'm still in school.
This class is based on the effort YOU put into understanding the material. Professor Nelson works very hard assigning student instructors SIs to help you. It is not a walk in park if you stay focused, you can do it! Review all of your previous quizzes, and exams. Proessor Nelson will definantly teach the class well, the rest it up to you.
If you are a suck up or think you can get away with an easy A- FORGET ABOUT IT !! She is a great, smart, proud yet tough teacher. She wants to see that you can at least improve your work for a good grade !!!! It will be stressful at times but try your best to succeed ( and actually succeed) and you will live.
Dr. Nelson is a very tough professor, but she knows her stuff and is very passionate about her job. I took her for 201 and I was really prepared for 204. I took her again for 204 and it was tough. My suggestion is to attend class, go for extra help and do all the homework. Her class is very time consuming but never give up!!
Most passionate professor I have ever taken . Her testing method forces you to learn a great amount of difficult concepts. Its obvious that she loves her job.
These courses are difficult in nature. Statistics requires hard work. She knows the subject implicitly and explains it clearly but it isn't enough to master it. You also have to work and do the assigned readings. There's no such thing as an easy A in these classes and shouldn't be. She always helps students who come to her. Awesome teacher.
Toughest class I ever took. If you are sensitive you will struggle and she lets her SI's do what they want, you have to stand up for yourself. She will help you if she sees an effort from you. Also you have to do the homework or you won't learn. Tests are hard but if you study you will be fine.
Really tough class with a great teacher teaching it! She doesn't take any slack, however if you do the work and put in the effort you'll do fine.
Love Dr. Nelson! Super tough material but as long as you put the work in, you will do well. She makes the material very approachable and understandable. As long as she knows you're trying, she will be willing to help and explain what you need help with. Would definitely take 201 and 204 with her over any other professor. SI hours are essential.
Dr. Nelson is probably the best professor in the psych department, though her classes are not easy. However, she designs them so that as long as you are giving it your best, you should pass. She comes off a little rough around the edges, but if you talk to her one on one, she is very helpful and understanding. Gives EC but you gotta look for it.
I think Doctor Nelson is extremely intelligent and passionate about what she teaches. Yes, the material is difficult, but it's not impossible if you actually try. She actually teaches you something and her SI's are very helpful too. If you become an SI I believe you get great benefits from doing it, too.
Dr. Nelson is one if not the best professor I have had at WestConn. Her classes are tough and intimidating at first but she teaches so you can succeed. The textbooks are MANDATORY!!!!!! She is very approachable if you need help. She has SI's that are very helpful totally recommend going to them! Recommend her highly!!! She cares if you care!!!!
She is the best possible teacher you are going to get. People say she is mean and tough but we are in college and she treats us that way. If you are a psych major, you should really take her. It can be stressful at times but at the end of the day you feel so much better because she makes you KNOW and UNDERSTAND the information. deffs take her.
Great professor!
Dr. Nelson is fantastic. Don't be afraid of her! Do all of the homework, read the material, practice the problems, come to class, don't give excuses and be respectful. This is college. Don't expect anything less.
Want to ask a question in this class? She wont answer it, and if she does she'll degrade your intelligence in the process. Yes she is smart and yes she is a decent professor, but she's very hard to work with changes grading and assignments up as she goes. She gave in class assignments on things never even before explained; MUST stay on track.
Dr. Nelson is one of best professors I've ever taken a class with. Shes a tough grader but she gives you several opportunities to succeed in class. Attendance is mandatory if you want to do well. She doesn't like to waste time on students who don't want to put effort into her class. I feel that I left her classes fully understanding the material.
Dr. Nelson comes off a little intimidating but is actually very nice. I got closed out of 204 and she fought for me to be in her class. Read the material, practice all worksheets she gives you before each exam and you'll be fine. Don't be afraid to ask questions, she's always willing to help.
She truly does want you to pass the course. Do all the work, pay attention in class and attend the SI hours if you need the extra help. Do that and you should be fine. She's a tough grader but if you earn an 80 or above on the final she will just take that score as your final grade even if you fail all of the tests. I think that's nice to have
Great Professor, wouldn't ask for anyone else. Sad that she's not teaching Psy 324
Pros: The assignments help practice and learn the material. The final exam can save you if you work hard Supposedly better than the other 201/204 teachers Cons: Harsh responses to questions Goes on rants off topic or reprimanding the class Gives very little time to respond to her questions during lectures Expects you to learn from the textbook
I had her for 201 and 204 and she is awesome! If you have trouble I would recommend meeting with her privately as she is a lot nicer. She doesn't like when you ask her a million questions during class so she could come off a bit rude if you do. She really does want you to do well though, she just wants to see you put in the effort.
Dr Nelson really knows her stuff and has an enthusiasm for the material. She will take the time to work with you if you are struggling but it is up to the student to ask for help. Attendance is mandatory. If you show up, do the required work, you can turn a poor mid term grade into an A. She really wants her students to do well
During my time with Dr. N I was more stressed than I have ever been in a course. A straight A student, I found myself floundering and doubting her methods. This semester I can only praise her name. Like coal under pressure, she will turn you into a diamond if you do the work and stick it through. Thanks Dr. N.
Dr. Nelson gets a bad reputation for being difficult and heartless, however, her method of teaching ensures you must work to pass. You WILL understand both 201 & 204 if you just simply try; and that's truthfully all she wants. If she is in a bad mood she has been known to let it rub off to the class. Show up, do what's asked, you'll pass 201 & 204.
Dr. Nelson is a very intelligent woman who holds a lot of passion for her field. I am a senior and have taken many courses and this one will always linger. If you are willing to WORK HARD, and be DILIGENT with your work you will pass. Dr. Nelson cares tremendously for her students. She is one of my inspirations and because of her I did not give up.
Amazing professor. Infinitely competent. She will help you take VALID effort and transform it into a mastery of the curriculum. Prompt and open grading; there is no worry of mid-semester grade confusion. Respect her process: do the activities, review the assessments, sponge all the valuable knowledge this woman can give you, and you will prosper.
While this was one of the most difficult/stressful courses I have ever taken, I feel 100% assured that I will be able to continue to PSY 324 with absolute ease. There are certainly no shortcuts with this course, however, she is extremely willing to help if you use office/TA hours wisely.
Don't get me wrong, Dr. Nelson is a pretty good person, but her teaching style is not for the faint hearted. I found myself struggling to pass by with a B- and that's coming from someone who usually gets A's. Before you sign up, be ready to work really hard for a good grade if that's what you need
Hardest class ever. So much work and you would thing being this is an extremely difficult subject she would have patience she makes you feel dumb for not knowing and does not like to answer questions. definitely would not take again
Horrible professor. if youre confused and ask a question she rolls her eyes. if no one knows whats going on she will randomly call on people to answer.
TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE PROF. Stay Away. She is horrible at explaining the course and takes away a lot of points for one part of a question wrong. For example if you get part e in question #5 wrong , you will not get credit for the entire question AND the quiz will only have 5 questions.
Mary Nelson was probably the toughest professor I've ever had at WCSU. If you ask her a question, she will make you feel dumb for asking and not give straight forward answers. She isn't taking into account that this class is harder being all online. Lot's of hw, quiz every class and she gives maybe 12 hours to complete them. Would not recommend her
She was a hard teacher, but I generally have no problem with that, professors need to be tough. The problem with Nelson is she is incredibly rude, and disrespectful. She makes you feel dumb when you ask questions. I informed her once that I had to miss class for something urgent and she replied with "who allowed you to sign up for my class."
This was a tough class, BUT if you are willing to do the work then it is not bad at all. Yes, she is a tough grader, but your final grade can be based on your final test (with 10 extra credit pts) or your average, depending on which is higher. Show up, do your work, and you'll be fine. Plus, she is SO accessible. Ask questions and get help early!
Horrible professor. She is extremely rude and teaches the class as if we already know this and she is doing a review. If you ask a question about anything she makes you feel like an idiot. Never taking another class of hers.
Strict professor, but if you pay attention and do the work it pays off. She wants you to do well, even if you slack off. Might seem intimidating but she wants her students to do well.
She is the absolute worst professor I have had at WCSU! She is rude, disrespectful and makes you feel stupid. She does not care wether you pass or fail and she does not give you enough material to be able to understand what needs to be done. She loves to compare her students and very unprofessional. DO NOT waste your time!!!!!
She was fine, but she gives a lot of work throughout the week. She expects you to do everything on time, but rarely gives out the work when she said she was going to. 2 quizzes every week and 3 tests. Not really good at explaining, just reads from the slides. Do all the work and try, and you will be good.
Do everything in your power to drop the course if she is your professor. You will thank me someday.
DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS! THE worst teacher I've ever had. She needs to retire, she clearly doesn't like teaching anymore. She talked crap about other classes and students to us. She is not helpful at all, she gets very mad if you have questions and don't understand the material. She says "basically" every three words.
Dr. Nelson is a great professor, but she truly makes you work HARD for a good grade. If you take notes and practice at home with the handouts she gives you, youll do great. Lots of studying/reading required, and you go over a lot of material in class. Shes a harsh grader, but shell help you with any mistakes you make, you just have to ask!
Great Professor
This is the type of teacher you hate until you look back at how much you learned and she does it in a great way. Quizzes almost every class but don't stress em.
Do not take this class!
Take my advise and avoid this Professor
One of the few who want you to learn. If you put in the time, she will help explain it to you if any questions. Happy I took her class. Don't take her if you just want to show up and get an A. Take her if you want to learn and you can still get an A
Seasoned professor who wants students to learn. Gives extra credit. If you do the work, attend class and ask for help, you will do well. One of my favorite professors! She is very approachable and willing to spend the time helping students who ask for help.
Professor is helpful outside of class. Need to attend class to do well. I slacked off for first exam, and it showed. She offered extra credit for class, and was helpful with office hours. Learned the material well. She knows the material well, and loves teaching. If you want to do no work or don't come to class, don't take her class.
realized I learned more from her 1 semester class, than any other class. she cares about students and learning. if u go to class, do the homework, and ask her for help, u will be grateful u took her class and do well. if u are interested in psychology after undergrad, she writes good letters. if ur a slacker, don't take her class.
This professor has a tough grading system, but the lectures are engaging and the material is valuable. Attendance is mandatory, but study tools like unstuck AI can help ease the workload. Overall, a challenging yet rewarding class.
Dr. Mary Nelson is a bit intense but one of the best professors I've ever had. Do not take stats with any other professor, you will not learn the necessary skills! I am a graduate student and have currently secured a job as an HR analyst intern mainly because of my stats background. Use her expertise!
If you are motivated and want to learn, take this professor. You have to put in the time, but if you do, will be worth it. She is very caring. If you don't care to learn, don't take her class because she gives a lot of work. I am glad I took her class, have a great job now that graduated, and owe a lot of it to having to work hard.
She takes forever to grade and you have frequent tests and 2-3 quizzes every week. In class all she talks about are her grown children and never relates anything to psychology (huge waste of 3 hours). She gets very defensive with students who ask questions or don't understand material in class, she is nicer in office hours for whatever reason.
