Professor Rice's A&P online course is one that you have to be on top of studying and space material out accordingly. She provides stellar study tools like chapter outlines and practice quizzes to help you really understand the material. The grading policies are very transparent so you'll know what to shoot for. She gives you all materials needed for success - it's up to you to discipline yourself. For every exam she does a live review - I recommend taking notes. A good study method is 1) Read/Review powerpoints & CHP. summaries. 2) Complete/Study: exam study guides, quizzes, labs & HW assignments. She's great at communication and cares about your success!

It's rigorous, but it provides all the essentials needed to pass. Exams are online using Honorlock, with finals in person at the lab. The instructor also offers pre-exam Zoom reviews to ensure you're prepared. Grading is transparent, and she's always responsive to emails. Be ready to study hard, but you have everything necessary to succeed!

Professor Rice is amazing. Throughout this semester she was very clear on what she was expecting from her students and what you needed to do in order to have a good grade. Very independent class so study up!

There is a lot of work and reading that goes into this class.There are 4 unit exams that can be taken online, 2 in person lab midterm/final exam and the cumulative departmental final in person exam that is 10% of our grade. One lab quiz once a week. Professor rice offers extra credit and reviews that help with each exam.

This professor was flexible and willing to work with crazy summer schedules .She had a baby during this course, but was very timely in her responses to any questions i had. I appreciated the level of extra credit given for this course and the fairness of the exam content. Would recommend her to anyone who feels uneasy taking Anatomy 2 like i did!!

This was my first summer class online, and I wish there were lecture videos. However, the textbook is very helpful to go along with the PowerPoints, and she holds exam reviews which are also great. As long as you keep up with her calendar, there shouldn't be any concerns. However, I bet the class would be easier to take in person.

I thought that this was a good class. Professor Rice was very responsive in emails. She sends out a report every week to let you know what is coming up and the Exam Review Sessions are a HUGE assest. The only thing I would wish for is recorded lectures, other than that I think it was a great class and I would recommend taking her class.

Professor Rice is great. As an online class it's very difficult unless you stay on top of it but she gives great resources and zoom review before every exam, and there are some activities to complete to be able to get a low grade redo(lowest grade on unit exam is replaced with the highest grade) which I think it's extremely helpful.

Great professor to take AP2 with. Free textbook. Provides everything you need to excel. 2 opportunities on each chapter and lab quiz so you can improve. If you make flash cards for each PowerPoint, do the labs then correct them when the key is released, study the quizzes, and attend the exam reviews (or watch them), the tests will be easy.

Professor Rice's online Anatomy and Physiology II course was engaging and accessible. She created a supportive learning environment and was always available to help students. Her quick replies and clear explanations made complex ideas easier to understand, greatly enhancing the learning experience. Professor Rice does her part , you must do yours!

A&P is a hard enough class to take, but this class was extremely helpful with the study meetings with the teacher before each exam and the accessibility for help from the teacher. There is alot of work to do in this class, class notes with your peers, Labs, quizzes and exams. Be perpared to read the book and study. Be active in participation.

Took her online. The tests are straightforward but it's a lot of material. You must attend Live Reviews for participation points (or transcribe the review which will likely take you longer than just attending) but that is a GOOD thing because she is going over what will be on the test.

I appreciate the fact that Professor Rice took her time for zoom lectures. The labs exam are hard but i guess with great study techniques i am sure you'll do great. She takes too long to answer to emails but other than that I definitely recommend her.

This course is challenging when taken online. There are no formal lectures; you must read the book, take notes, and participate in the live exam reviews to be successful. With that being said, Professor Rice is awesome, her explanations during the reviews were helpful for the exams, and there are extra credit opportunities.

This class is a self-paced class, so if you aren't on top of it or struggle to teach yourself, then I would suggest to take an in person class since a lot of material is being covered. As for the professor, she is straight forward on what is expected and she hosts zoom reviews before exams (her zooms and office hours are 8pm so keep that in mind).

Professor Rice is filled helpful information regarding this course the best way to get that information is to have 1:1 meetings with the professor.
