she is by far the worst professor I have ever had!! DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS, take any other option if available. she teaches way too fast and does not go through all the steps. she makes it so the homework problems are different than the test problems so its hard to study especially since she doesnt give study guides!! overall dont take her:)

I don't understand all the bad reviews for this professor. She is straightforward and tells you exactly what she expects for her tests. Chem143 is a hard class, and you have to put the work outside of the class to get the results. I felt that she was clear on what was expected, and I liked her as a professor. Her class is tough, but thats Chem.

Lectures taught fast paced! All homework problems, lecture problems and quiz problems are different from actual exam making it difficult to study/prepare. No study guides are provided either. You wanna pass go to the extra 133 class and her office hours. No extra credit provided. Labs are hard and take a lot of time. Chemistry True NIGHTMARE!

Old style of teaching, does not transmit well during covid conditions. Meaningless little assignments that take a ton of time to complete like your reaction log for a minuscule amount of points that doesn't affect your grade. Lectures but only skims chapters leaving out the complex stuff you need to know.

Prof. Roslaniec is awesome. She is very patient with questions during her lecture. her exams are pretty much out of the pre printed lecture notes and practice problems. She does'nt make you feel stupid if you dont get it the second, third or even the fourth time. You have to put the time in. Complete all assignments and attend office hours.

Chemistry is hard no matter who you take it with. It takes a lot of time outside of class but as long as you read every chapter, do ALL the practice problems, study, AND enroll in chem 133 youll be fine. She is a good professor, teaches well, and helps in office hours but does not respond to emails. She does offer extra credit sometimes on exams.

an amazing professor & is available if you need help and truly wants everyone to pass. the down side is w covid and our exams being online I thought the whole "hands face and desk being in frame at all times" was a bit much I pretty much had to lay down to do my exams and if they're out of frame you receive a 0

Organic chemistry is inherently an arduous course that necessitates intense discipline and commitment. Professor Roslaniec strives to streamline the learning process through her lectures, but the emphasis is on you to learn the material. You may cry and you may lose sleep (I know I did), but it's a rewarding class throughout it all.

A very nice person and tried, but her lecture notes were not helpful or good examples to study for tests. Test problems are way more difficult than the homework, and offers little to no extra credit. Expects us to learn 3-4 chapters of material in less than two weeks and excel at it when being tested. Labs are overly complicated for just 10 points.
