I really enjoyed this class as it has lots of class time to work on your projects and homework, however be prepared there is lots of homework n and while it may not be difficult it is very time consuming! But outside of the time crunch I found her to be very nice and easy to work with as she is accessible outside of class and will work with you. :)

Overall, this course was very easy and informative. Powerpoints from each module are listed throughout the whole duration of the course, so if you miss a class you are able to go back and reread. As long as you do your work and come to class you can definitely pass this class! She is very open to communicating with students regarding any concerns.

This was my first in-person college course, I was very intimidated but this professor helped me so much with a laid-back yet passionate attitude towards the course material. As a timid art major, AMAZING first professor to have in person. Wish she had more courses I could take!!

This is a good class to take if you need something easy. There are 3-4 essays in this course, but they don't require research and they don't have large word minimums. The biggest one was a midterm paper with a 750-word minimum. Great feedback throughout the course.

This course was not challenging but could be if you fell behind. You had about two 4 homework assignments due a week that were reasonably easy to do. Then you had short essay questions to do that were again not so hard, but you needed to give clear descriptions. Overall, her grading was easy and she was really good at explaining if you need help.

Professor Tidy-Coyle has a very put together class. Everything online is neatly organized and very easy to keep track of. I cannot speak for her as an in-person class, but for online students this is a wonderful professor.

Shes an eagle's fan but other than that she was great. A lot of our class was lectures and a bit of discussion, but it didn't feel like you were waiting for the class to end. If you are taking Instructor tidy-Coyle's art appreciation class, most of her lectures follow the same format which is answering short questions with a group of students. There are a lot of assignments that can pile on quick if you don't manage your time wisely. Instructor Tidy-Coyle inspired me to explore my artistic and creative side once again.

You could tell that this professor put time in her lectures and the syllabus that was provided. If you do your work on time and put some type of time into the work that you submit you'll do great. If you want to pass just show up to class and you're set. There are quizzes every week and every now and then there is a discussion or short essay but nothing too overwhelming. I also appreciated every class she would go around the room and ask if we needed any clarification on something.
