She is the Nazi of mathmatics. She has a good personality, but shouldn't be teaching. Be prepared to teach yourself. Don't ask questions because she will make you feel small. Miserable experience-steer clear
The worst teacher ever! She does not 'teach' anything. Must teach yourself. Don't ask questions. You are warned!
Makes you feel stupid when you ask questions. Spends more time talking about cats than mathematics. Over half of the class was gone after 3 weeks. Average drop rate is 70%+ Don't let the next one be you.
I would rather have all my teeth pulled and hung by my private parts rather than endure her class again. Don't ask any questions since there will be an immediate backlash. I thought I was on the set of Mutiny On The Bounty. Do not even consider her.

The course material is easy but she doesn't really know how to use a computer, which compunds difficulty. I just spent most of the time playing my Gameboy Advance, since attendance is mandatory. If her tests were any easier I'd fall asleep.
Wolf should NOT be allowed in a class room. She belittles everyone, If you ask a question she makes you feel like a fool and idiot. Her personality is grating and barely tolerable. She has the highest drop rate on the campus.
This has to be the worst math teacher that I have ever seen in my life. She is very unclear when explaining and you can't get a straight answer out of her. She tends to make easy problems seem harder than what they are.

i had her online class and it seemed very easy. if the tests were any easier i would fall asleep. most people in my online class did awful b/c they probably sucked at math and taking this class online didn't make matters better. she was very nice to me and i have no complaints about her.
Dr. Wolfe is by far one the worst teachers I have ever had to endure, material was not covered, assignments were not explained at all. Grading was based upon how well you liked her cat stories, and other random non-course related stories. Do not ask questions, tongue lashing will be given if you do.
So not helpful. Will NEVER take another class from her again.

The worse teacher to date! Made an interesting class so painful & boring. Absolutely no people skills (a “King Cobra” in drag)! She is proof that multiple degrees DOES NOT mean that one can teach! Want to commit academic suicide? Take this dip! Would prefer to have my testes chewed off by rats!
This woman is the epitome of conceit. I can't count the number of times she reminded us that she held numerous degrees. Her classroom was hostile and her attitude was intimidating. I can't believe that MSC allows her near students. By far the worst classroom experience I have ever had to endure.

You can't see them but this women has horns sticking out of her head. One of the worst Oedipus complexes I have ever seen a person have. She sits at the right hand of the devil rather than with God. Mary Wolfe is the worst teachers I have ever had at MSC. Grading was bias, material was never covered, and assignments were left up to your own interpretation. Classic mean, angry, hateful cat woman who is hell bent on making others around her feel like sh*t. I would never recommend this teacher, unless you like being publicly degraded, and discredited in front of an entire class, and at the end of the course ending up with a bad grade. Sadomasochist would love this woman’s style of teaching…

She was by far the worst teacher I have ever encountered. She was insulting and treated her students as if we were all idiots, yet she expected us to learn material that wasn't in the book. She also had a bad habit of testing us on our various ways of getting the answers - so even if you had an answer right she would count it as wrong if you didn't get it "her way". I wouldn't wish her on my worst enemy.

Can't teach or answer questions correctly. When you ask her a question, she will make u look bad in front of the whole class. The material is not covered properly and the understanding of the class is pretty much left upto you. Graphing calculators are used throughout the class. Do not take this class if you are not skilled in Algebra.
She is a great teacher. She doesn't have much of a personality and I can see where students think that she comes off a little harsh. She is willing to work as many problems for you as you need her to. Her tests are easy. I'm glad I took her class.

comes across kinda rough but is actually a nice person. she cares about students and is willing to help. she expects us to do our part and lots of people dont like that. tests are not bad.

The most horrible experience since I have been in college. She will not explain anything, just says look in the text book. Very unhelpful. If you take her class you had better have a very good understanding of algebra because you won't get any help from her.
I took online with her. She has a fair grading policy. She drops lowest test score and replaces with the next test score. She allows room for error. I never asked her for help so I could not comment on that. In some bulletins online she would come across a little brash but overall I think she is nice or atleast tries to be.
She is very monotone. If you ask her a question she looks at you like you are stupid and says a sassy comment. She copies her lessons pretty much word for word from the text and doesn't give different examples. She is horrible at explaining.

about 10 Assignments, 3 test && comprehensive final. Very Difficult! went throught the material once in class & she set you free. if you asked any questions- she made you look & feel like an idiot in front of everyone. i dont plan on taking her again...

Before I took Dr. Wolfe's class I got on this site and looked to see what others had to say about her. Needless to say, I was terrified on the first day. However, she really wasn't all that bad. She teaches well and tries to make little jokes every now and then. The only thing about her class that sucked was the final...
While she may lack charm and grace she is a great math teacher. I loved her class, and the only reason a lot of people don't is because she doesn't put up with whining and laziness!
I took her for college algebra online. I could sit behind a computer and tell how miserable her life is. Has to be the rudest, and biggest smart a** I've ever talked to. It wasn't just me it was to the whole class. She could not answer a single question all semester in a civilized manner. Feel bad for you guys in Macon who have to take her.
I took this online. Dr. Wolfe must be attached to her computer at the hip...but very helpful.
I would strongly advise against this teacher. She is at a level above her students and she has no problems getting that across. If someone asks her a question in the discussion area, she will come back and tell that student to check their email account. What kind of discussion is that. You end up teaching yourself, she is just a grader. DON'T DO IT

My class was partially online. As long as u showed up on test day, she didnt care if u missed classes. I have always been good @ math & just barely made an A. She will help u out when needed, get on her good side. She doesnt take crap frm anyone. Know your stuff when it comes to test day, she drops lowest test score & has the final count as 2 tests
I am taking her online class. When anyone asks for help it comes across as though she is looking down on people. Puts people down if they use shorthand at all, even if its the same that she uses. Also she failed to keep her online stuff up to date, we had a test over something that we had not gone over yet.
She was terrible, she won't explain anything and my class was half-online and she never went over anything. Everything I learned I had to look up on Google because the Aleks system was so vague. DO NOT TAKE HER
She was the WORST professor I have ever had! I would ask for help and she would NOT help. She put me down and questioned how I even made it into college. She made it obvious, not only to me but to others in my class, that she was NOT going to respond to my discussion post. I will not ever recommend this professor.
I would not EVER recommend her! She would not answer discussion post nor would she offer help. She made unnecessary comments in regards to my education. I WILL NOT take a class with her again. And would not recommend for others.
Very bad instructor took class online passed all quizes with excellent grades, took test failed the test. The test did not have anything that the chapter and quizzes had on them, and when you did ask questions on discussion board her response was very slow.
I took this class online and Dr. Wolf provided all the info needed to succeed in this class. If you do not have the time toput in for the class do not take her. The class is demanding but you will know the material once the class is complete. I made an A in the class but it was a hard A.
I took this as a hybrid class, so the class was mostly online even though it was required to go to classroom every class. Dr Wolfe can be pretty condescending but she's willing to help if you ask for it. She comes off like she doesn't care, but if you are respectful at all you will get on her good side.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE....I got 99% on algebra, 68% on this online stats course. Between text, video's, stats online, D2L homework and tests, nothing correlated with the exams. Where did Wolfe get these exams anyway?? Every exam was a guessing game. When she did deem to answer my questions, she made me feel like an idiot for asking. I HAD a 3.6 GPA..
I don't really understand how she has kept a job for so long. I hope and pray that I am done with her for good. I had upper A's in stats and Algebra, and I barely squeaked by this incomprehensible gibberish with a C. Oh, and don't ask a question. Not unless you want to feel like a fool for not knowing the answer. Aren't we in school to learn?

I have never encountered such a hateful individual. I do not understand why she teaches; she degraded students in class. She called three students "stupid" that semester. She questioned why any of us were in college, even those of us who were doing well. She was NOT helpful. If you asked any questions, she mocked. I have no idea how she has a job.
The tests will kill you! I always made A's on the quizzes after finishing a lesson, but the tests are so far from lecture videos and quizzes. The videos are basic information and the tests are very specific and I felt blindsided honestly. Extremely monotone, boring, I would not recommend unless your a genius who just needs the credits.
Don't expect this class to be easy. There will be no indication of what will be on the tests. You can work the problems and ace the quizzes and still not be prepared. This is my second year and I have consistently made A's and B's with the exception of this one class. I will never take this professor again.
The textbook is written in a very complicated way. You have to go online to find better explanations. Her lectures are basically read straight from the text book, so it does not help much. The quizzes and assignment have almost nothing to do with the tests. Forget about study guides or extra points opportunities. Tests are tough.
If you are taking discrete math be prepare "what?" when she replies to your questions. Also the thing that tick me off is when i take in the fact of how long she has been teaching, paying extra for an online class, and how much time she had to do her lessons, she still makes mistakes that make you say wtf. I've corrected her at least 5 times now.
This teacher makes advanced math so boring that I don't even need to show up. Boring and treats you like you are a kindergartener. I would not recommend.
I went into MATH1111 excited. When the class started, I immediately realized that she was dry and cut throat. She almost makes you not want to ask her anything. Her helping you is only her re-working the problem you are having trouble with. I would sooooooooooo not recommend her. I ended with a B, and that was ok because I basically taught myself.
Took her for MATH 1101 eCore. The class itself is pretty easy and straight forward, read information, do 5-6 quizzes per lesson before test is due, take test, repeat. Which is good, because she's extremely dry and doesn't do much in the way of teaching. Multiple mistakes in questions, seems to put minimal effort. Class is easy to self teach though.

I know this professor & she's a B and C word in real life. you guys at GA really need to leave well-written, low score reviews & take them str8 to your dean. document everything. I've taken out 2 professors this way, including the longest tenured in the US (they deserved it, I've taken college courses for 8 years @ 3 schools in 2 states
She is very boring and when solving problems she gets them wrong herself and we have to make sure they are right when she is the one teaching. Goes off of a PowerPoint and nothing else. No enthusiasm and very short and dry.

She lacks enthusiasm. Reads directly from the powerpoint. Not approachable enough to ask for help or visit office hours.
This is honestly the worst class I have taken online. it's only day two and I feel like I'm teaching myself.
She is out of this world in a good way! Youre not in high school anymore as soon as you step in her class but she is good for a challenge. As long as you respect her, she will respect you. Definitely unforgettable but class with Professor Wolfe will mold you to be stronger and better. Do it!
She does lectures a lot and you kind of have to teach yourself the material, but once you learn how she teaches and everything she expects the class is really easy. Make sure you do the homework on MyMathLab, because that is an easy A!! As long as you show improvement throughout the class, she is willing to work with you.
She is one of the worst professors I had. I'm surprised she still teaching school. she literally reads off from the powerpoint and will not get up and show you how to do it. for upcoming freshmen please don't get her. she a laid back and cool but she can't teach for nothing. she is really strict and I'm paying money out of pocket for her lesson
Worst prof ever. She's dryer than saw dust and does not know how to teach. She has this fake nice persona, but when you don't understand something or have difficulties doing something, she will shut you down and blame yourself for your trouble in the course. She is a snake, do not take her class.
Her lectures are dry and boring. Shes very old and monotoned, she once came in with mixed match shoes. All she does is flip thru PowerPoint slides and experts you follow. Youre basically teaching yourself if you take her.
She's not helpful at all when you have questions or don't understand something. Shes's also kinda rude when you ask her questions or contact her.
She keeps telling us wrong things and gets angry when questioned.
She doesn't offer lots of help if you do have questions. The course material is extremely difficult to understand. Overall she is just not the teacher you should take if you ask a lot of questions because she doesn't offer many answers.
Taking her class online. The class itself is not very hard. When you ask her questions she is rude and gives no helpful feedback other than read the material. When she gives feedback all she outs is an X or a question mark. Will never take her again wish me luck
If you aren't able to teach yourself, don't take Wolfe. She's nice, but she exclusively reads off powerpoints and doesn't really explain anything, which can be confusing. On the plus side, all of her tests come from the homework (ALEKS), so if you study that, you should do fine on the tests. But it's learning the material that's the hardest part.
I honestly wouldn't ever take this professor ever again. If you have her, please run. Change your professor asap. :)
