The reason it's not easy is that students can't understand what she is saying. She explains nothing and doesn't go over anything. She shouldn't be teaching.

Worst math teacher I ever had. Should not be teaching. Doesn't convey anything to class. Can't understand her. Doesn't go over anything at all. She should take English lessons. She just gets a paycheck for no reason as far as I am concerned.

She should not be teaching people who have problems understanding the math. She asked if anyone had questions and then she answered the questions in such away that you didn't want to ask another question. Not very approachable.

She should not teach! She has no people skills!It is like talking and listening to a robot! Run the other way!

was unhelpful to the max. She'd ask if we had questions, people would raise their hands and she'd ignore them and turn around to erase the blackboard, turn around and say, "good we'll continue" knowing people still needed help.

I feel the same way as everyone else, I am currently taking MA22 with her and I am doing poorly and I go to extra help and nothing seems to help. I hope I will get a d/c so that I will pass it and not have to take it over again. Drop her class if you have her, you will be making a good decision!

Took her class in spring of '04. I did very well, but I have a natural ability for math. If you don't, do NOT take her class. You can't barely understand her English, and she really doesn't like to help (gets frustrated at too many questions). I was one of about 7 (out of 30ish) people left in the class after the last day to drop without a WF.

She one of the worst math teachers Ive EVER had in my life. She never explains anything, even though she asks if we have questions she still doesnt answer our questions clearly. Im more confused when I leave the class than when I get in there. She also gets pretty snappy when you ask her questions. She just sucks in general.

Can't understand one word out of her mouth. Speaks way to fast, doesnt make herself clear with problems, and i dont know who wants to get out of the class quicker her or the students!!! If i knew she was this bad i would never have taken her class its just terrible!!!

I couldn't understand one word she was saying. She would drift from english to chinese in the middle of teaching, and when I would ask a question she would pretend she couldnt understand the question or would get mad and say there wasn't enough time for questions. By far the WORST teacher I've EVER had.

If you don't like math you won't like yen.She is a horrible teacher. You can't use a calaculator cause she is getting you ready for precalculus where she should be teaching . Many students either fail or drop the class.Scc should look into replacing her.

I agree with everyone. She never took the time out to explain ANYTHING i had a question on. She would always pick a fight with me over stupid things that weren't even regarding the class. I had her, and after sitting there for three hour, twice a week i have learned nothing new. She moves very fast. it is safe to say she has confused me from what i did know going into that class. stand clear of her.

Worst teacher I've ever had in my entire life. She does not teach, she thinks you know it all already. Her tests are absolutely impossible and you can barely understand her. I had to go to the math lab everyday and still only got a D+. Before her, I was an A+ precalc student. NEVER take her, you WILL have to redo the class. Absolutely horrible.

Worst professor I've ever had. It is almost impossible to understand her work. Out of a class of 20+ people, only 2-3 passed because of her ghastly teaching skills. Everything I learned from the class I had to spend time teaching myself. It's like she teaching English, giving tests in Greek, and explaining it all in Chinese. Do. NOT. Take.

She is by far the worst teacher I have ever had. I am a 4.0 student who studies regularly and was always an A+ math student... until now. She doesn't explain anything, she just gives you problems and goes way to fast and when you try to tell her to slow down she doesn't. This was a very difficult and tear-filled class for me. My husband has taken Calc1-4 with a 4.0 at SBU and couldnt understand my homework. She focused on the tangents of the topic instead of the important aspects of Calculus and made you feel stupid in class. However, one time at office hours she was moderately encouraging.

If I could give this lady a Zero I would. Thank god I switched out of her class before it was to late. Let me begin with her heavy Chinese accent and her lessons are all over the place.
