Professor who grades very fairly. She's easy on the eyes because she's gorgeous and she she likes to wear knee high leather boots and leather skirts.

She takes the memos and papers too seriously. I think her T.A. was a harder grader than she was. Practically everyone got a C in the class.

She is a very smart teacher, makes the topics interesting, but when she grades the papers she is really, really hard. It is really hard to get A in her class. Good Luck to whomever is going to take her class.

i agree with everyone that when it comes to grading she's picky.

She is a straight forward professor unlike the other comments left by others. I admitt she doesn't grade easy but if you include everything she asks in the assignment paper, you'll get A papers. But it's really easy to end up with a C even if you try.

Very picky on grading papers, I recommend you study the study questions from CD that comes w/book for the MC exams.

She is a hard-grader but she tells you exactly what to do to get an A on the memos/reports. Attend the peer-review sessions. You get credit for being there and make sure you have done everything on the review sheets. I got a B+. She is not that bad!

pretty easy, she seems to be really strict but i think she really is laid back. you have to pay attention in class. i didnt take notes but when it comes test time you have to know your concepts. the memos really arent difficult if you know how to be short and to the point.

The class was somewhat difficult. You definately have to do the work. The tests are easy if you study, some questions come directly from the book website. She is a tuff grader on the memos, but they're not so hard just keep them short!!

She's nice and gives very little work compared to other 105 professors. Only two exams in her class. She's is pretty easy if you put effort into the class.

I don't know what all of you are talking about, she is a horrible teacher?? I think she is great, helps out when you need it. Clearly explains assignments. Yes she does take roll by a seating chart, but it is a class that requires attendance or you will fall behind. It is difficult to catch up if you fall behind in her class.

Dr. McFadden holds an English Ph.D. from USC, and so she treats this class like an English composition class, albeit with a business slant. She's intelligent and competent, but demands only the best from her students. She's a harsh grader and she tries to test her students in all areas of communication, inlcuding writing, speaking, listening.

work is not hard just a bit confusing its a new style of writing to get use to prof offers good help but u have to ask for it, it wont come to u. to get a B requires effort! but its totally not impossible. If u are not a good writer then its going to be hard.

Great teacher. She is pretty straight forward with the lessons and is easy to fallow in class. The only downside is that she has a PHD in English and is really picky with grammer,spelling, and sentance structure.

Very uninteresting class. She is very well-organized and on top of things, but she plays favorites, and is a very critical grader. She marked me down for not SMILING on an oral presentation, and she only wants you to do things her way, despite lack of initial clarity. She is also an attendance nazi, so class-skippers be warned.

She is a very hard teacher. It can get overwhelming sometimes because there are so many group projects and it seems like the are just one after the other. Sometimes she isn't clear on how she wants the papers written, but if you just put in the extra work and visit her during her office hours, she is very helpful and it will get you a good grade.

Very hard grader. You must do exceptionally well on your papers in order to earn at least a B on an assignment. In this class you will have to spend quality time on your assignments and make sure they are parallel to this teacher's instructions. Expect to do one presentation and try to select good teammates.

VERY VERY HARD grader, she may seem nice, but don't be fooled. You will be lucky to pass with a B and this is a very fast paced class. If you strive for excellence then challenge her whilst for those who would be happy with a B avoid her or Susan Plustky.

Hard Grader, but very useful class where you learn a lot ,its not going to be easy by any means, but its a good class

After reading other reviews, I had to write my own just to clear her name. I went in the class scared b/c of the bad reviews, but boy were they wrong. I'm a guy, and I got an A in the class, she doesn't play favorites or prefer girls over guys. Class challenges you to learn and do things the right way. It's not that hard, get over it.

Mrs. Mcfadden is a hard grader. It helps if you kiss ass and participate in class discussions. I didn't. I got a C grade. You certainly learn a lot of business stuff in her class. She might call on you once in a while if no one else is willing to participate. It seems that if you mess up on one project, there goes your A grade.

Very nice professor.She really wants your to learn and helps you to get a good grade. You do you have to participate and bring your textbook to class. She does go over homework so do your homework. Also she emphasizes team work, so when you choose your teammates pick those you think you'll get along well.You grade depends greatly on how well you do

WARNING TO THOSE CHOOSING CLASSES IN SPRING SEMESTER! You will not get an A, EVEN if you're a STRAIGHT-A student. She's VERY conceited about her PhD in English & thinks she's perfect. Doesn't care about her students. Pointless to even see her in office hours b/c she isn't clear about her assignments and what she wants. STUPID TEACHER! >|

the class is basic common sense! she tries to make it interesting but you still end up wanting to fall asleep. attendance is mandatory n there's a lot of busy work. 2 oral presentations & 2 midterms, no final. the class felt like a waste of time but it's required so no way of getting around it :/ just do your work & you'll b fine

She is not as unreasonable as people say. She is a college professor, and she expects college level work. The people who are saying that she is impossible should try getting a real job and they will realize that she is fair. I enjoyed the class.

Really enthusiastic. Encouraged discussion. Kept lectures interesting and relevant. High expectations, but not unrealistic for a university. Worthwhile class by a great professor.

Extremely difficult but it's only to hold students to higher standards. Showing up to class is highly advisable as well as putting in the time. No more turning in first drafts you wrote the night before. If you get a good grade, its something to be extremely proud of. Writes INCREDIBLE reccomendation letters!!

I don't know what everyone is on about, I took her in Fall '09 and I honestly have no complaints. She isn't anyone you'll remember 5 years later but she isn't the wicked witch of the business department either.

Wow. Dr. McFadden is not only a premier communications professor. She is absolutely one of the most beautiful women in the world.

I really her Prof Christolear! Not that many people liked her in class, but I loved her! She was clear, understanding, and very very helpful! I thought I would end with a B in the class, but I luckily got an A-! If you work hard on the work and essays, you too will achieve a great grade! IF you have questions ask her!
