I had her for human development and she was really helpful with tests,transfer info, and ways to be successful in college. She is an awesome advisor and is very friendly, which helps nervous first timers.

Tests are tolerable as long as you study the review material she gives you. Attendance IS part of your grade, but she is very understanding if you are sick. Would recommend.

Ms. McGuirk is such a fun teacher. While we're constanly learning, it doesn't feel like a classroom at all. She gets very involved with each of her students individually. From day 1, she showed great interest in getting close to her student on a semi-personal level, it was a nice experience.

Mrs. McGuirk is an incredibly sweet and caring teacher. She truly cares about her students and makes the class as fun as possible. She has the cutest voice and gave out a lot of extra credit assignments and bonus points so it should not be difficult to get an A.

At first I was a little turned away by her high-pitched voice, but she genuinely cares about the education process and does an unbelievable job at preparing new college students for the lives ahead of them. She has a heart of gold and I'd recommend her to anybody.

She is an active professor in the material as well as in your college career. She gives three tests which come with two parts; the first part in a group and the second part on your own. You also make a portfolio as the final exam. If you read the book and follow the powerpoints, this will be an easy 'A' to receive. ^_^

There is a calendar to follow and if you miss and assignment she reopens it for you the last week of class for half credit. EVERY TEST QUESTIONS CAME FROM THE BOOK!! this class was a breeze and the teacher was extremely nice! Graded papers right away, and always responded to emails in a short time!!Best teacher I have come across!

Possibly my favorite professor at North Lake, really cares about her students and always willing to help with anything. EDUC class had more homework than I expected (I honestly expected no homework, so it's not saying much), but it is all extremely easy. She really tries to get everyone into it.

Students wouldn't show up and she STILL gave them extra time to make-up any missing assignments. TAKE HER, you WON'T regret it.

I was in her 8 week Educ1300 class.. I passed with an A grading scale is very clear. Expects for you to do the work but its not to complicated. She is very funny and a great help to me. Showing up for class is important or you will miss assignments and points. Hopefully I will get a chance to take her again.

I absolutely loved taking her class! She's very nice and she makes class fun. My dad became seriously ill and she worked with me because. I had to become his caretaker. Make sure that you attend every class because part of your grade is based off of attendance. Start working on your social responsibility paper early.

Nice lady! Took her 8-week PSYC 1301 class. Very straightforward; wasn't too heavy a workload (one 12-question quiz a week, two tests, one paper). Wouldn't recommend for a psych major, because she doesn't go in-depth much, but if you just want to check off another course, she's your gal. Teaches by Powerpoints (which she posts!!) + Quizlet/Kahoot.

When Black Board wouldn't let me retake a quiz, I emailed her, and she was nice enough to open it up again. Complete all the assignments on time and you're guaranteed an A in this class.

She is a great teacher. I took her Growth and Development class over the summer. She grades stuff on time, provides a clear outline of what to do in the class, and gets back to email the same day. I will definately take her again if I get the chance.

One of the best professors I've taken. She comments on every assignment you hand in and is very nice and caring and grades very easily. There are 4 units so a discussion, quiz, and assignment are due about every 2 weeks if you manage time this is so easy but even if you leave last minute it's manageable. I learned a lot and enjoyed this class.

Take this professor, if I could rate her a 6/5 I would. Quizzes are the only points where you need to read the content otherwise it is a fun class.
