Sister Lemon is AMAZING I loved her chem class. She truely cares about her students and is there for you and hour success! a true gem! make sure to do the homework and you'll be fine!

Sister Lemon has the best criteria for chemistry over the other chem classes you could take. hw is optional but it's how you learn and practice the materials so I recommend doing it. She goes over lecture quickly since there is so much to learn but she posts her slides online. You do fun reactions in class and she loves what she does! I recommend

It's pretty crucial that you attend class, otherwise it's hard to figure out things on our own. Show up to class, homework isn't graded, but don't not do it. she gives an answer key for it all to help with the work shown so you don't get too lost. exams can be every tricky if you rush it. put in the time and go to drop in labs and you should get an A i honestly didn't put as much as id like to into it do to work, but she is solid!

She is good at teaching this material, it is a very fast moving class though so come prepared and pay attention! Do the homework! And go to tutoring to really solidify everything! She tends to continue to teach new material up until the exam opens that will be on that exams which is really frustrating. Other than that she is fun and passionate.

I am glad that I was in Sister Lemon's class. She is a good teacher, but be ready to keep track of all the exceptions. She will teach a concept really clearly and then talk about the one exception to the rule for a few minutes and sure enough that one exception will be on the test. Doing the hw isn't necessary as long as you go all the lectures.

She did an awesome job at clearly and simple teaching the material. She would answer all questions during and after class if you didn't quite understand something. She works out the homework for you so you can see how to complete assignments. Taking notes in class and referring to the homework that she works out for you often will give you an A.

TAKE CHEM101 FROM SIS. LEMON!!! Lectures are amazing, and many (optional) opportunities to practice the material. If you follow her advice at the beginning of the semester, you will be able to get an A. One caution, your grade comes from only the quiz and test scores, so be prepared to do well on them. The homework is not collected, but it is a great practice that prepares you perfectly for what the tests will be on. There is no guessing what she will test on. Sister Lemon moves at a bit of a faster pace than some other chemistry teachers (so I have heard from other students) so if you can pick up the material quickly, you will be set.

The course is difficult and every class is important so don't skip class. But Mrs. Lemon is awesome. She is very fun and sweet. She will literally tell you how to pass her class so if you do what she says you will do ok.

Sister Lemons is a fantastic professor. The class is definitely not one to take lightly, especially if it is your first semester like it was mine. Not a class you want to skip but if you do she does an awesome job of posting all the lecture slides and videos on the curriculum. She is very energetic which makes her easy to listen to in lectures.

She's a talented instructor who really knows her stuff. Your entire grade is based on quizzes and tests (homework is not graded and doesn't count toward your grade) however, so study hard! I highly recommend attending every lecture, but if you miss one or two you'll still pass.

I really enjoyed her class and how passionate she was about the gospel, her family, and also chemistry. We could tell she loved and cared deeply for us. Sister Lemon has helped me become successful in chemistry and I haven't taken it since high school. I printed off the slides and the hw and put them in spiral notebooks and that has been a great way to keep up. I loved taking this course with this professor because she made the class a lot easier, she explained in a way that although the topics are hard, she made them seem easy. I really like Sister Lemon! She is very clear in her directions and expectations for the course. She makes her classes fun and interesting, and she has specific tutors for just her class. The tutors are AMAZING too! You definitely need to do the homework to get a good grade in the class, and it's very self-driven (procrastinators beware)

I loved sister Lemon! She taught in a way that made sense to me. She also takes the time to make sure that everyone understands. To do well in her class all you have to do is go to class and do the homework. She has an active study group outside of class that if you have the time is a great resource to get additional help!

There isn't a chance for me to put 4.5 so i put a 5 star. She is a great professor! Definitely in the top half of all professors. Her slides are far from perfect and that is my ONLY complaint. She doesn't require a textbook and just uses homemade slideshows. If you don't know what your doing the slides offer next to no help. Make sure you attend.

Even with this, Sister Lemon made sure students had access to all needed material. The class is will structured and you will always know what to expect as far as quizzes and tests.

I took her Chem101 class remotely proctored(thanks COVID). Her format for class was super easy to understand. She was always available for questions. I emailed her on various occasions and her responses were always quick(usually in a day or less).

SIster Lemon was great to take CHEM101 from. We had class remotely due to COVID, but it was still a great class. We watched recorded lectures then could attend office hours live to ask questions. Mrs. Lemon is an overall amazing professor. CHEM101 can essentially be broken down to class lectures, taking notes, optional (but very helpful) homework, quizzes, and exams. Mrs. Lemon does a wonderful job in explaining all of the material. I felt the class was not too difficult. You will do well in this class if you put in the effort and study.

I HATED chemistry until I took Chem 101 with sister Lemon. Her remote lectures were great because they were recorded and you could pause them if you need to. She explained in detail what is expected and prepares you well for homework and exams. Not all chemistry professors do this nearly this well. Do the homework and lectures and you'll do well.

I took this class the remote COVID semester. She was super nice, but it was hard because instead of doing remote classes on zoom, she just made it an online class. I am not usually very good with online classes so I was disappointed that she did not do live lectures. Good professor, just know what kind of class style you are getting into.

If you're not a Chemistry, or related field, major, I wouldn't recommend her as a teacher. If this is your field though, I would definitely recommend her. She knows her stuff, she knows how to teach, and she's fun, but her grading is extremely harsh as your quizzes and exams will be worth (actual math) 95.5% of your grade.

Sister Lemon is a phenomenal professor!! She wants her students to succeed and is there for you. Sister Lemon makes chemistry fun and easy. She prepares her students so well for the quizzes and exams. If you watch all the lectures, do the homework, study and go to office hours youll do great in her class.

I honestly loved Sister Lemon!!! I have heard mixed opinions about her but I think she is great! If you are someone that needs/likes a lot of help from professors, you might want to find someone else. If you like flying solo this class will be perfect for you!! Her lectures are so clear and organized that you probably wont need a ton of help.

Lecture participation, quizzes, 5 tests and final heavily make up your grade. Do the homework. I never attended office hours because of schedule conflicts, but I practically lived in the tutoring center. It's a lot of material, but you can get an A if you work hard. Also, I never used a textbook since her lectures are pretty much all you need.

She explains things very well and multiple times to make sure the retention is better.

I loved Sister Lemon!! She's incredible at explaining things and walks you through numerous examples to make sure you've got the content down. I can't explain how amazing she is, and she made chemistry end up being way better than I originally anticipated!
