Professor Masako is freaking amazing !!! She is quite new to Fullerton college but is by far the best thing that Happened to Fullerton college !!!!! She really wants to help you strive in life. As long as you put the effort and go to class you'll pass ! TAKE HER !!! You won't regret it

Professor Ura is extremely attentive and cares about student learning. This class is general requires a lot of work but she spaces out the large assignments well so you have chances to improve your grade before the final draft is due. The worksheets she provides are extremely helpful and exams are always clear cut.

I took her during summer. She is the best professor! There is no hw, 3 exams, and individual project +research paper. you can use an index card and you can write almost all answers on your card. You should write a lot on your exam but dont worry it helps you because she gives us so many participation points. Im international student and got A.

Very informative teacher, willing to answer questions. The book is a waste of money imo for Statistical Behavior. She doesnt give grades for free and wants to make sure you understand the info.

Amazing lectures! She absolutely knows how to teach, help, and explain in another way for you if you don't understand the math. She is so kind, loves every student, and makes sure that you understand the material. I would take again in a heartbeat! If you can do the homework and learning checks, you'll pass the tests easily.

Masako explains everything very clearly and let us know exactly what would be on the tests. Attend to get easy points from the learning checks and use the learning checks to practice for the tests. She'll never surprise you- no pop quizzes, no trick questions. You don't need to study much. The class overall was very easy but I still learned alot.

I took Psychology 101 with professor Ura at very difficult odd time this past spring semester Thursday night from 6:50-10pm. Yes it was a crazy time to take class but all worth wild lectures were good, she gives breaks, very helpful and tells you everything ya gotta know for test/quizzes you and get an A!

Professor Ura is by far my favorite teacher at Fullerton college! She is sooooo caring to her students and wants you to succeed. For the first day, the syllabus might scare some people off, however, it is to weed out all the people who were looking for an easy A. Great lectures followed by learning checks, and she is always there to help.

Just finished taking Professer Uras PSY 161 class for summer. Amazing professor, really cares for her students. I hate asking questions, but with her she made me feel comfortable with asking no matter how stupid I felt. She encouraged me to do well in class. The class is tough but nothing that you cant handle. Shes wonderful. 10/10

Professor Masako's class was a very intense and pleasant experience. Her grading is point based. She gives her students the chance to show their understanding of the material through different assignments and not just through tests. She is very caring, helpful, patient, and approachable, something you don't get with every professor,best professor!

Professor Masako loves what she does! Her lectures and clear and stright foward She explains everything that will be on the exam, the exmas are no surpise. she is one of the best professors I have taken.

I was very hesitant to go into a 3 hour class, however Prof. Ura made it one of the best classes ive taken. most of the time consisted of long lectures, but the notes are very easy. Tests are easy too as long as you have the notes, so dont miss class! Overall i enjoyed it and walked away with a newfound interest in psychology related careers.

Summer class at Fullerton College, everything was super condensed. If you can't keep up with fast-paced classes, avoid summer! Professor Ura is straightforward, and does her best to make sure you understand the content. She gives class time for homework, encourages group work, and makes herself available to students. She goes over SPSS extensively!

I took her class during the summer at Fullerton College to save time and money. If possible, I would enroll in Professor Ura's courses for my entire undergrad degree. She is straight forward and provides excellent examples. I really hope she teaches intermediate stats at CSUF during the Spring. You'll love statistics once you complete her course.

Best Professor ever! She doesn't give homework but gives in-class assignments which are rather easy. She gives you a lot of good feedback if you ask for it and is always willing to talk with you. Her Exams are easy if you study the material she gives you. She is what you call a College Professor.

This this the most interesting class I have ever had since I started at FC. *Professor: She is not an easy teacher, but she truely cares about students. She is very straight forward, she expects students to focus on the lectures in class. This will be very helpful for exam. * Quiz/ Exam: She provides good material/study guide for quiz and exam.

The notes are basically fill in the blanks, with you occasionally writing down other important info on the side. If you missed anything, however, she'll be happy to give you the Powerpoint notes WITH the parts you forgot to fill out. Pretty simple class if you pay attention, participate, and study. She knows her stuff, always willing to help.

Professor Masako Ura is my favorite so far at Fullerton. I had to work hard in this class, but she made it enjoyable. She is very smart, supportive, responsive, engaging, and clear. This is a best professor that you can count on. All I can say is that she is awesome. Thank you!

This was my first PSY course and she made it really interesting and fun. She lectures for most of the class and provides in depth slides for you to follow that cover everything you'll need for the tests. She doesn't ask a lot from her students besides the basics, timeliness, respect and willingness to learn. I would take her again in the future!

Professor Ura was a wonderful teacher. Her class is lecture heavy, so if you miss class, you better get a classmate's phone number to get the notes. Otherwise, you will not pass this class. I would definitely take her classes again, she made learning Psychology easy and interesting.

Professor Ura is the best professor ive ever had in my 3 years of community college. She is a teacher that wants to see her students succeed. Although it may seem like a lot of work, but she designs the class so that you can understand the material as best you can. Her tests are based on the notes/ lectures. I would recommend her 100%

Prof Ura is great! She lays out exactly what she expects from her students and doesn't give out homework. The class is laid out so that all the work required can be done in class. Study for tests, they'll be difficult if you don't study well! She cares for her class and gives advice applicable to life. Student resources are made aware and available

Lectures are clear and concise, she's easy to reach via email and an overall such a kind person. Tests are not too hard if you put the time into it - either you know or you don't. 100% would taker her again.

This class was really challenging, but Professor Ura is extremely helpful and caring. You will definitely have to work, but communicate with her and take advantage of any and all extra credit and you will be fine.

For a summer class it was pretty difficult because you fly through units however, she prepares you very well with great notes/slides but YOU need to put in the time. There is not a ton of graded work so you need to do well on what is presented, exams impact heavy on your grade. Great preparation for the next Psy Stats course! Would 100% take again!

If you're on top of the assignment dates, you'll be fine. She's an extremely fair teacher and gives constant feedback which can be encouraging! She responds fast to any questions. Show full effort on LCs, you get full points. If you study the LCs and her ppts, the quizzes and exams should be easy. Great teacher and I highly recommend taking her.

Professor Masako is amazing!!! She really cares about her students and gives you the opportunity to apply yourself. She is one of the few professors Ive had that I actually learned something from the class. She gives great lectures, and always gives good feedback, so you are able to see your mistakes and be prepared for your exams.

Took this class during summer and COVID19, and surprisingly it went really well. As long as you keep up with the lectures and hw, you should be fine. Psych stats is math-heavy, but nothing too crazy. Keep track of the different formulas and when to use them. Overall, a great professor and I would definitely take a course from her again.

Professor Masako gives very clear instructions. She was always available for questions via email, and she responded quickly. As an online summer course, it was very fast paced. She gave us online lectures with PowerPoints along side each chapter to help let us know what we needed to focus on in each chapter. I would recommend her for this course.

I took a psychology and statistic class from professor Masako and she is definitely a professional, caring, and supported professor. She is working hard to make sure that her students learn the materials and success in the class. She is willing to help you and all you need to do is ask. Professor Ura was great! She gave lightning fast grading and always gave feedback right away. She also really wants you to get a good grade and makes multiple announcements for students to finish their assignments before the deadline. 4 exams (no cumulative final) and unit checks and a quiz for each unit. Fast moving online summer class due to Covid-19 but Professor Ura does a great job of explaining the material clearly so you can be successful if you study, complete all assignments and work hard. I really enjoyed this class.

Professor Ura is was always so kind and was consistent with updates throughout the summer online class. While some of the content was difficult, I never felt alone as she constantly offered her help and encouraged us to contact her. Tests have a multiple choice portion and a free response part neither of which are difficult if you take notes.

Great and solid teacher! She replies back to emails right away. Doesnt't give you an overhwheliming amount of homework. Very reasonable. If you study you will do great on exams as well.

I took this course during COVID-19. I am most definitely not a numbers person, and it had been nearly 4 years since I've taken any class that related to math, but Masako's online instruction was very clear and she offered feedback immediately. Her open communication made the work very manageable. I only wish I was able to learn from her in person!

I had the pleasure of learning statistics from Professor Ura, as an online summer course.(Due to the summer term everything is very) It is a lot of work, but well worth the gratification of knowing the content. If you put in the effort and listen to her lectures and do the work you will pass. No math class is easy, but she makes it very enjoyable.

This teacher really tries her best to explain things thoroughly. You could tell she really wants you to get the material and I also love how she puts it in real world perspective! She will always remind you when things are due, and gives you opportunities to get points Accumulated That arent quizzes or test! Put in the effort and she will guide!

Professor Ura is clear about grading criteria. When she notices that the class is struggling with any topic, she gives the opportunity to retake quizzes or exams for a better grade. She gives great feedback, you always know where you need to improve. All lectures are recorded on powerpoint, easy to follow. you can succeed if you do the work

She is good professor, but sometimes I can't understand hers lectures. If you write a detailed e-mail about something you can't understand, she will explain it again. Her response speed is surprisingly fast. It is the greatest.

Great Introduction for statistics. Really didn't have to use my textbook, only for certain charts. Taking notes on the lectures is really all you need. Great professor, makes sure that everyone understands and takes the time to respond to your questions immediately. Definitely recommend.

Professor Ura takes a course like Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences that may seem intimidating to most and makes it understandable and great! Professor Masako Ura, informed us at the very beginning what was needed to pass her class. She is a very good statistics teacher and is passionate about the field. She often helped students during and after class. It was clear that she cared about her students and wanted us to do well. It was a challenging class but well worth it.

Honestly this class was one of the best classes I've had. I had a harder time since it was math but this professor helps you out on so much! Of course it's a difficult class but as long as you dedicate to doing the work you'll pass. The professor checks up on you and gives you such great tips! I recommend this professor to everyone!

I took this class Spring 2020. It was easier than I thought it was going to be, but you have to actually do the work. She responds really quickly if email her about any questions you have. The only downside is her office hours were the day that assignments were due, but overall, she was really caring and willing to help you!

Professor Ura deserves a Nobel Prize. Before I took Professor Ura's class, I was so ignorant of mathematics and always full of fear, and of course, statistics were no exception. But Professor Ura's teaching of statistics is surprisingly great and catchy. I'm sure no one in the world teaches statistics better than Professor Ura. Strongly Recommend!!

Professor Ura did an outstanding job in putting her lectures together. Her lectures are clear and easy to follow and understand. I had heard nightmares regarding stats in general but professor Ura did a great job in presenting the material. I can say I really enjoyed her class and I learned a lot and would definitely take her again.

She is GREAT! Take it for someone who doesn't do well with formulas/math but she makes it easy as long as you take the time to see her PowerPoint it is pretty straight forward they are not long. Also, she responses to emails relatively quickly and always there to help! I do not regret taking this class it actually made me love it!

Best stats professor! Even if you think you're bad at math, she breaks it down so you can understand it and do the work! Overall, it's an easy class if you do the work but I would not recommend taking this class if you are taking other summer classes because we go through a LOT of material. I only passed with an A because I was studied every day.

Excellent outstanding lectures. took her fearing I'd have to teach myself the book, but her recorded lecture videos made learning simple and easy! Really appreciate her teaching style and found the book more of an additional tool (not needed). She offers 2 tries on quizzes. I wouldn't take stats with anybody else! She is very easy. Her homework is just like her lectures. Make sure you pay attention to the directions of what you have to do. Weekly homework, and a few tests. Make you pay attention to deadlines and times. She is strict on those. Very responsive if you email her and have questions she is very helpful! Great professor!

I joined Professor Ura's course online and it was an amazing multicultural experience. She truly cares for your success and teaches with incredible passion. Shes SO sweet. I did take her class over zoom. She did have us get a book but i personally didnt need it because i took lots of notes. never gave homework. we had discussions over canvas and one paper to write follow by a powerpoint. but it was very easy and shes a very great lecturer. hard to understand her at first but youll get use to it.

Professor Ura goes over a lot of intense, and to a certain extent intimidating, material in a very holistic manner. This course is traditional in a sense that you must keep up with the readings and lectures, but it is also a safe space to have a discussion. Highly recommend to take this course with her.

I have taken Professor Ura for PSY131 and stats, and I would take her again! She's extremely caring, easy to access outside of class (she responds quickly to emails), and her class is easy to follow. Class ends early because there's a discussion writeup due 30-60 mins. after. It's important to pay attention to lectures and participate too!

Professor Ura is so welcoming and truly wants to see you succeed. She cares about the students and creates such a great environment to be in. The lectures were really interesting as well, most of the time class ended early, which gave us more than enough time to finish assignments. I would highly recommend taking her class :)

She is very knowledgeable & the workload is very heavy she provides all the materials you need to succeed, including detailed video lectures and plenty of examples to follow. She is very strict about her policies (no outside assistance).you must complete it based on the examples she gives ask for help, she is willing to explain & support you.

Tough but fair. Helpful lectures, clear examples and templates. Will give you feedback and allow you to correct your work and turn in for a higher grade. Uses a very user friendly program called Jamovi for several assignments (it's free). Most assignments are written out by hand. Learned a lot. Would take another one if her classes for sure.
