Great guy, tries to make it fun. A little hard, if you miss a day you miss a lot of material. Compared to most of the math teachers I 've heard about, this ones hard, but he helps you out so much.

He's a good teacher, very helpful when you ask for it. Just as long as you keep up with the assignments you'll be fine. However he gives out a lot of homework.

Excellent professor in Math 115. Yes, he assigns alot of homework and I hated it at first, but it helps you understand each chapter and guides you through the next. He is patient & always willing to help. I recommend him if you want to get through the math requirements!

Mr. Nassimi is an excellent teacher, he cares about the students and if he see that you want to learn he will do everything to help. This is math so you have to work hard, there is homework, classwork and tests - it comes with the territory. He is fair and respectful of everyone. I think he is exceptional and recommend him.

He's a great teacher. He obviously cares as long as you try. He gives a good amount of classwork/homework and gives out quizzes when you least expect. If you're lazy,this is not the class for you. I would love to have him as my math teacher for the rest of my college career! Sadly, it's not possible.

Mr. Nassimi is one of a kind teacher. He cares about his students and constantly upload his website for solution sheets and study guide for exams and classwork. He give many extra work to get extra point for the exams. If you really want to learn Math, this guy should be instructor. Anyone complain about him, he/she is lazy.

Any negative comments about Mr. Nassimi are from those students who put in zero effort and cheated on most assignments. They know who they are. mr. Nassimi is great. It takes a few classes to understand Mr.Nassimis accent. He is very helpful, you have the break, after class, and office hours to ask for help. He does give a lot of homework and quizzes and 4 tests but he does take some of the lowest ones away. His class is one of the most memorable math classes because I actually got an A.

Absolutely hands down the best math teacher. He does give a lot of homework but also gives ample time to get it in. He gives study guides for each test. Attend each class and do the homework and you'll do great. He is extremely helpful and wants his students to understand. You don't want to take anyone else.

mr. nassimi is awesome & has made me look forward to math finally! i probably didn't need to take this class but i chose to just to get myself familiar again. aside from certain PEOPLE cheating in his class (which i CAN'T understand), his teaching methods made learning math fun & understandable. i hope i can get him for my future math classes!

Great professor. He does give a lot of homework and classwork along with 4 tests, but he is very reasonable with his grading system and he makes math 115 easy if you pay attention and show up to class. He is very knowledgeable. Dont be lazy and participate and he will help you pass.

He is very helpful! a lot of work required but he makes every effort to help you understand. He's funny and jokes around a lot. Not an easy A, but if you study you'll be fine. I hate math but I passed. I took him for 115 and 125. If he knows you are trying, he will help you out on your grade.

He's very strict at the beginning but then stick with him and he'll drop a lot of homeworks, classworks, quizzes, and even exams. he'll help you out to pass the course. and his A is 88% he doesnt base it on the school standards! for i.e, 62% is still a C. He gives a lot of extra credits too. Take his class and you won't regret it!

I really enjoyed his class. He really cares about his students and makes class interesting. Can be stern but always means well and flexible to people that he sees actually making an effort. Do not be afraid to email him and ask questions. Group studying is a good idea for this class.

I have always done very poorly in math and this was my first math class since graduating high school in 2006. I was so worried about passing, but Prof Nassimi grades very fairly. He gives you partial credit on problems, accepts study guides for extra credit, and drops your lowest scores on test, homework, and classwork. Great class.

I have always been bath at Algebra and also the reason why I have been at Valley for as long as I have. Professor Nassimi cares about growing as a teacher and having a chance to help his students as much as he can. He offers a lot of homework but he also offers extra credit and has all his powerpoints on the lavc portal. I would def recommend him.

He's a good professor in my opinion. If you have a question he'll answer it. He comes off as harsh but if he sees you're making an effort by asking questions he will try and help you out. He made the class very doable. A grade with effort.

Hi is very tough, gives lots of homework. If you don't spend much time for home work, you fail this class. But he made very good organized presentations and helpful examples. Do not miss classes, otherwise you will not understand material.

Mr. Nassimi is a very hard working professor. He make sure his students get all the help and materials need it for exam. Mr. Nassimi Massoud is one of those persons that I won't forget ! He is a real teacher and wants you to learn the material, and off course he will ask you to work for it ! I had Mr. Nassimi class in winter of 2017. Even though the class was very fast due to 5 weeks period, but I learned a lot from him. He is the most hard working professor I have ever met. Has two different work books (one that he made himself) that will keep you busy throughout the semester. He offers study guides before tests which are almost the same as the test. Tests can be very forgiving. He drops lowest test in the semester. I would highly recommend him versus all the other instructors I have taken so far.

Professor Nassimi is the hardest working teacher I have ever had. I really admire his work ethic which in turn pushed me to work harder. The class is a lot of work, but Professor Nassimi gives AMPLE opportunities for extra credit. Do the homework, show up, participate and you will pass the class. Those that don't only have themselves to blame.

I got so lucky having Professor Nassimi as my math professor for Math 125. He is honestly one of the most caring math teachers I've ever had. And although he does give a lot of homework, its for your own good! All that homework is the key to doing well on quizzes/exams, and ultimately passing the class. Oh, and he's pretty funny too!

This class is difficult and there is a lot of work. He makes it POSSIBLE for you to pass this class if you apply yourself and show you are trying. He is also pretty funny, and makes a genuine effort to show he cares about you passing if you show you care too! I would take this class again anytime! There is a TON of extra credit, there is no excuse.

Challenging class as there were a lot of materials covered in one day during W 2018 semester. Nassimi is honest with everyone since the beginning, you must do all your work, submit all assignments, and be there every class!!! Do this and you WILL pass. I am personally not very good at Math and this class helped me understand. Do all the XRA Credit!

Professor Nassimi is kind, smart and knows how to teach. He care about his students and give plenty of extra credit for those who are committed to the class and dedicated to learn. I struggled so much with this class! It was a little fast paced for me and I had trouble keeping up. However, Professor Nassimi was very patient and kind and genuinely cares for his students. There are so many opportunities for extra credit, and he is always willing to help if you ask for it. He motivates to not give up. I'm glad I didn't.

Professor Nassimi M has a vast knowledge of what he is teaching. He is very professional, he tries as much to explain over and over in class. He is well aware of the fact he is teaching mixed ages population especially older adults so he is quite compassionate,if you go to class, listen to lectures, do homework -you pass. Professor Masoud Nassimi the smartest mathematics teacher Ive ever met and has a sense of humor. His class is difficult (not dummy friendly) but you will learn a lot from him, if you put in the effort and time. Professor Masoud Nassimi class, there is tons of homework, quizzes, and extra credit. (The quizzes are short, only 5 problems or less.)

Professor wrote a book containing his lectures that explained the study materials. This book really helped me understand the math, unlike any other books that Ive read before. Professor was always happy to help students to go over any questions that they had. All of my classmates successfully finished this course because we enjoyed his class.

Business calculus has been by far the most difficult class I have ever taken. With that being said, Professor Nassimi was so patient and understanding. He gives out pop quizzes but hints when you should expect them. I would highly recommend this professor. Just participate, be present, and ask questions- he was so helpful throughout the semester.
