I absolutely loved his lectures and learned so much in the semester. The outside of class work really prepares you for tests. He is always willing to help and very kind. Even if you struggle with history I would definitely recommend taking his course.

Definitely one of the best history teachers I've had so far. Even though you will write alot he is a Super fair grader it's honestly pretty hard to get a bad grade in this class. Attendance is mandatory but the class goes by really fast he has great lectures. Not at all difficult would for sure take him again.

Its his 111 and a requirement for many who isn't a history major I would not recommend taking this class he makes it difficult for no reason! 3 50 question test with a written pencil and paper exam that he expects you to complete within 50 mins and the essay has to be 2 pages long. Don't take if you don't want huge test piled on you

Dr. Oyos is very passionate about what he teaches. So much so that he'll end up getting anybody invested in the material. He is a VERY generous grader, like seriously, you would have to TRY to get a bad grade on any of his assignments.
