Cool teacher, made the material easy to understand. Made me interested in taking another economic class

I learned alot in this class and this will be helpful to me at work. The teacher made the class fun and interesting. He worked very hard at keeping the student motivated. I would highly recommend Professor Dall as an instructor.

I enjoyed this class, taught me a lot about ECON and loved the way you can express your own opinion without being judged. Professor explained with examples on the board and would re explain if needed (like if someone wouldn't understand). I highly recommend this class with this professor. ATTANDANCE IS THE KEY

I attempted this class with my present university and dropped off because the professor made the material so complicated, but Prof. Dall, broke the concepts using real world issues and everything became crystal clear!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!!! His teaching style is very modern, which caters to today's students. Please Attend All Classes!

I would like to highly recommend Dr. Hall for Econ 201. When taking this class you must commit in attending every class. Also note that he did not use a textbook.

We did not have many hw assignments. He taught to course based on how the students learned. We were visual learners and it helped to see everything. He could give more hw assignments.

Very easy class. Would have liked more assignments, and the book is not required.

As a side note, I mentioned that Rate My Professor is an easy way to boost your GPA by picking a lot of professors that are rank high in the easiness category. Regardless of how much experience or education you might have, you should still prepare vigorously for exams. I will spend many hours to prepare, so leave yourself plenty of time to study.

Professor Dall is someone who creates a community within their classroom and genuinely cares about his students. He is very approachable and is constantly checking in with his class to make sure everyone is on the same page. Also, he is a bit of a comedian so learning the material was much more enjoyable when youre laughing!

Mr. Dall's Economy class was good. His class was an introduction to economics. It was hard to read his handwriting and his classes were dull some days. However, if you want to learn he will teach you. He explained to us the "Purposeful Behavior" concept used by economist, that states everyone is looking for their "self-interest".

Instructor Mathias Dall, makes us think critical about everything we read. Not only that during class we talked about real problems about the economic situation the our nations is going through and try to understand why is happening and what can we do to change that. His class was really fun to learn. I would take him again.

Great teacher, He is more of a dynamic professor. He doesn't like just reading from a book in order to teach. He prefers to just to give an introduccion of what we are going to learn in that particular day and then he provides definitions and examples of real life situation where it is useful to know about Economics. Funny and a nice man.

As an older student I went into the class with uncertainty. As the class progressed I was able to gain confidence to put forth an effort. Hearing the name economics made me think it was a class surrounding mathematics. Mathematics isn't my strongest sukt. Like that he understands and considers that students do have issues outside of school, really dedicated to the subject, encourages others who may not be as interested.

Solid class. Was able to fulfill my transfer requirement and learn a few things. Was fairly easy but we did learn.

This professor is young, enthusiastic and all around fun guy. He try's to make ever class different and doesn't usually bore you with long lectures and hard homework assignments. though he sometimes gets off topic, he is a solid professor who seems determined to make a name for himself.

Easy class, but didn't learn much. Only 2 graded assignments, which were the midterm and final. Felt like it was a waste of time to come, but I liked some of the videos shown. Overall he's a cool person, but probably would like more instruction or assignments to actually take away some knowledge.

His lectures are boring but in the end of the lecture they make you think as to how the world and society is. I would take him for another semester because his class is an Easy A. And he is a very respectful instructor.

I thought the instructor did very well teaching the course. He came to every class prepared. ready to teach. He maintained a very positive attitude towards the material. Even though it's a tough subject, he made it easier to understand. I found the videos helpful, and the assignments as well. He's one of the best instructors I've ever had at Daley.

He is a very different teacher. He teaches a way that should be taught. He takes a different approach at things while still teaching you and your understanding of the lecture is amazing. he is very lecture happy. Watched many videos for weekly journal work online. Prof will be talking about economics but brings many other aspects into your class

Prof is a very good prof. He wants to show you a different way of seeing things and that ends up being good because you understand the class so much more. This was my first Econ class and I felt Prof Dall made it really intersting introducing different materials and having the journals every week with a different topic and how it affects the economy. The class was fun, just read the chapters and do the journals. Would look into Micro Econ class and get both macro and micro econ courses covered.

Mr. Dall is a very understanding teacher. Covers everything that will be on the midterm. His grading scale and material is straight forward. The class was three hours Nr. Dall made the lectures interesting. Great job! The amount of homework(journals) were reasonable.

Prof, Dall was great! He created an environment that was easy for many students to understand. I took Econ 202 while taken Econ 201 qnd have to admit that his class was much different and suited to introduction in Economics. Unlike other professors he was able to make it easy for student to grasp concepts and how they apply into he real world.

He is awesome! The generally economy can be kinda boring, but the lectures were interesting. He is very knowledgeable in his field but he lays down a foundation before looking at the graphs, which goes a long way through out the course. He is also very approachable and understanding, if you have a problem, he will help you.

This class real easy. I showed up to class once a week. I passed super easy. We talked about half an hour about econ and the rest was casual talk. NO QUIZES. NO TEST. Easy class fun guy.

Amazing class Mr. Dall really encourages students to participate and very openminded. My favorite section of this class was learning about Demand, Supply, And Market Equilibrium. Daley needs more professors like this!!

Chill teacher that get his points across with everyday things you can relate to. Isn't as of a traditional teacher that forces students to memorize information... understanding the concepts are more effective then memorization.

The course work is super easy and pretty interesting. you should discuss the purchase of the course book before the semester starts because we rarely use it

Professor Dall was one of the best teachers I've had at Daley yet. Class is a discussion, he really tries to get everyone involved. He's very understanding and patient, all questions are welcomed. If you're having difficulty in class, he's real helpful during his office hours as well.

Dall is a professor which uses a non-contemporary teaching method which works great and is easy to follow. He is fair and very knowledgable on many subjects and is good in teaching that knowledge in simple terms. Would take him again, attendance and participation is key.

Very nice professor. Easy class do not be afraid to take this class. I recommend this teacher for every student. You will have some Jurnal every week, it's not long. It's basically review for the week. Show up to class and participate for a good grade.

In the beginning I never really understood economics, now I can explain to other people because I have a clear understanding from taking this course.

I really enjoyed how the class was taught because the professor challenged me to think about REAL life things in our economy and it wasn't the mediocre lesson of reading a book and then taking a pop quiz very engaging lectures

I would definitely take Professor Dall in the future, he is easy going and his way of teaching is more understandable than other professors I had.
