I love this professor! He's a great instructor. Class is always fun and interesting. He comes to class with positive attitude and high energy. One thing I don't like about him is that he gives exam review the day before exam day, so you only have at least 2 days to study.

Ok cmon its college; you'll need to show interest and apply yourself. No one is going to GIVE t to you! But Matt is engaging, likable, encouraging, funny, interesting, and caring. He's amazing. I've had him for 2 classes now and they're wonderful, clear-cut, and pretty easy if you put in the work. There's 3 exams, 1 final, and 1 paper. If you get a grade that you're happy with on the first 3 exams, you don't have to take the final OR take the final and it will replace your lowest test grade. Awesome dude.

I loved this teacher! He was like none I've ever had! He's hilarious and down to earth! He'll explain the lecture well enough for you to understand. He makes sure that you know he's there for you! Notes were never posted on blackboard, so you have to go to class to pass. However, he makes it worth it! I would love to take him again!

Matt is the best professor I have taken at UNT thus far. I had him in a class of over 100 students and he knew everyone's names and engaged the entire class every single lecture. He is honest, everything he talks about he knows about and if he doesn't know something, he won't fake it. He puts his heart and soul into his classes & it shows.

Amazing teacher!!! Would recommend him for anybody, even if not a psychology major. Super fun and he really cares about everything he teaches!

Seriously awesome professor. Super friendly, engaging, & entertaining. Loved going to his lectures! You have to show up to class to get the notes because he doesn't post them, but his slides are easy to copy & understand, and he's super willing to work out any challenging topics with you. I'd take him again in a heartbeat!

Awesome professor!! One of the best. He is super funny, and understanding of circumstances. I would definitely take another course taught by him. He puts a lot of time into the course and you actually learn the material with ease.

Very involved with the students. Allows for a lot of class discussion. Sometimes he goes a little too long talking about his dog. Overall a really great professor though

Matt is incredibly kind, funny, and caring. He's one of very few professors who actually makes an effort to get to know every student in his class. He makes you want to work hard and do well. His class is the only one that I actually WANT to attend. This class isn't easy but the way he teaches makes it easy to understand. Matt is amazing.

Put simply, Matt was amazing! He's really funny, energetic, and lighthearted. He loves psychology, and makes it super interesting. If you need anything he's there. One of the best professors I've ever had! He really made me enjoy coming to class every day. I'd definitely take him again.

Matt was a great teacher and I loved taking his psychosocial adjustment class. All he does is give lectures but makes them super enjoyable and as long as you go to class you will have no problem making great grades on the tests.

AMAZING professor. He makes sure his lectures are interesting and straightforward. He covers the exact material that will be on the tests during review days, so passing them is pretty easy. Probably the best professor I have ever taken. His positive energy is very contagious. He reminds me of Chris Traeger from Parks and Recreation.
