He is very particular in his grading and expectations, but it is to make you a better teacher. He is one of the most amazing teachers I've ever had. If you do your part the class is amazing and tests really aren't that difficult. But take your time. He does have you do a weekly study group, but it is beneficial. Don't wait for the answers in class.

Doing well on the tests involves a lot of study on your own, as you don't go over specific problems for the test very much in class. You are given a basic study guide. Tests are LONG, usually took upwards of 2 hours. If you work hard, stay determined, go to class and participate in your group discussions you will do well.
