Very easy to listen to guy who makes what he is talking about appealing and informative. However there are some more in depth parts which were skimmed over, though this is just the nature of the course unfortunately.

Dr. Ceriotti is obviously extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. He provides excellent notes in lectures and uploads them afterwards with extra information included for people interested in learning aspects of the subject outside the syllabus. His answers to question are very clear and concise proving his in-depth knowledge SFD.

Good use of whiteboard to convey notes instead of boring powerpoints. Encourages participation and ensures class is following mathematics behind notes on board at all time. Encourages feedback, makes it clear he cares about the quality of his teaching and is always looking to improve. Most patient and approachable lecture I have ever seen.

Really interesting course and very well organised. The material is not particularly easy, a lot of maths is required but in the end you get a very good overview of digital control. The professor is always helpful and approachable and delivers excellent lectures every time.

He takes his time to explain and makes sure you understand what he is teaching, also he respond immediately to questions and gives feedback. Dr Matteo is nices and always ready to help.

As a person who is interested in space, the lecturer goes above and beyond to inspire people about space flight and what is going on in the space faring business these days. Great lectures, clear marking scheme, teaches exactly and to the point, makes everything clear. Hope he keeps inspiring people for years to come.

Even though this subject is tough, Dr Ceriotti takes the time to explain clearly and it makes this class a joy to take. I wish all classes were like his.

Interesting lectures and the lecturer explained things and answered questions well. The course itself is quite challenging.

This part of the module was well explained and the lectures were easy to follow. Having said that, the lectures and material has a lot of derivations that are time consuming.

Dr Cerrioti is very sympathetic to the needs of his class and provides us with a great deal of useful material to work with at home (such as typewritten class notes and MATLAB sims) This compensates for limited tutorial time. All questions submitted to him are answered quickly which is good because in a large class people are less vocal in lectures

Even though pre recorded videos are not so exciting as a real academic lecture, Mr Matteo is doing great work. I really felt sad that I didnt have the chance to meet him in person due to covid...

Dr. Ceriotti has a plethora of knowledge about this industry and so was very helpful and also punctual for our online meetings. The work in this project also helped me to secure my first job! Bravo! By far, the best course I ever undertake. Really interesting, course content is delivered in a very clear way. Dr. Ceriotti has a deep knowledge about space industry and gives a direct and easy understanding of multiple complex elements. Extra documents are attached which motivate anyone who's willing to make the space industry as a career.

A lot of content to wrap your head around. Backed up by comprehensive, well structured notes and a lot of support from the lecturer. A great lecturer, but a pretty tough and content heavy subject. Taught really well with a lot of patience and help thought. Open communication with students and the lecturer, which is great! He clearly cares a lot. :)

Really enjoyable lectures that were very informative and he always had time to help if someone didn't understand a concept.

Dr Ceriotti teaches Digital Control very well with the flipped classroom approach. He does a deep dive when a new or challenging part of the course work is reached and will often explain in detail when a question is asked bout the material. He also will work through numerous examples with detailed steps ensuring you can understand the material.

Very organized in his way to deliver the course as well as tutorial which make it very easy to understand. Gives great feedbacks and his way of explaining the problem is just amazing.

Gives extra for students besides lectures and tutorials, for example giving info on internship opportunities with ESA. Clear lecture structure and challenging exam, I feel like I learnt a lot.

Does space lectures for aerospace engineering 1. Not particularly interested in this area however Dr Ceriotti makes it very interesting.

Pre-recorded lectures are available beforehand which means students go to the class with a good insight on the matter. The materials are still covered in the lecture but significant time is reserved for practising past exams and other relevant explanations that may need more depth. An impressive organisation that respects your own pace.Very helpful

Used a flipped classroom system with recorded lectures being watched prior to class and class time used to quickly go over material and have questions answered. Engaging topic matter with links to real world NASA missions being discussed regularly. Would recommend!

Professor Ceriotti is very good at explaining things and is always open to help. His teaching method is very effective.

He has an amazing way of delivering the lectures. His teaching style makes the course content not only informative but also very engaging and interesting. Thus, the learning experience is enjoyable.

Uses a mixed teaching approach with online lectures going through the main theory parts and in-person lectures focusing on doing exam-style questions and Q&A. Really like the number of past exam papers provided for practice and going through some of them in class, prepares you well for the exam. Overall a very organised and nicely delivered course.

Really enjoyed doing my project with professor Ceriotti, he let us take it in the direction we saw fit whilst providing ample guidance and knowledge when we needed it! Would recommend taking on one of his projects ~

Nice guy, clear lectures

It's going to sound like everyone else but this guy is amazing. If every lecturer had half as much interest in their job university would be a breeze. Past paper questions tailored to what's been taught after every lecture, such an interesting class that is a joy to study. My exam is tomorrow so I might edit this tomorrow night haha. A must-take.

Dr. Matteo has been an outstanding supervisor for my final year project on modular control systems for planetary rovers. Despite the project's difficulty, his clear guidance, kindness, and approachable nature made each meeting comfortable and productive, greatly enhancing my experience.

I had Dr. Ceriotti for the Space section of Aerospace Engineering 1, in which he delivered lectures on basic concepts of rocketry & space dynamics. I liked how kind he was, as he cleared up doubts during and after lectures to the point where I would exclaim "ohhh". I definitely won't mind having him again in the future.

Chill guy who does aero

Very interesting lectures, delivered by somebody who is very passionate about the subject. Always very keen for student feedback - so if there's something that doesn't work for you then he will do his best to accommodate! Rather tough course so requires plenty of work, but is not unreasonable. Lots of examples and past papers provided to help you!

Very patient and explain things in a clear way and calmy. He does not rush through the slides and he references the books. His presentations are well written with a lot of information useful when revising for exams. I appreciated him very much and would like to have him again in the following years, I recommend absolutely.
