Professor Casselman is one of the best in UCR. Ochem in general is difficult and he does a good job in his lecture notes and explanation. Your final grade is honestly based on how much you really studied and practiced ultimately. Very considerate of personal conflicts and have accommodated his exam and class for his students. Had him for OCHEM 8ABC

I'm not sure what these people are talking about him retracting the accommodations he made for the final. The original final was going to be in class and proctored, and he switched it to an open note take home final that we had a whole week to do. Hard but not too hard class. It's super clear how to get a good grade in his class. Tests are exactly what is taught. not sure why ppl say that his tests aren't fair, all the same content from lecture and the problems come from the homework. Homework isn't graded, but worth 15% of ur grade. Clickers are extra credit, 20 pts of EC from final too.
