Guy was pretty cool. Made lectures not so boring. Very helpful by giving extra credit opportunities and offering extra help for whatever reason. Cheesy jokes, but at least he is trying to make it interesting. I recommend him to anyone taking biology 131

Mr.C!!! Hes excellent. All you have to do is put effort in the class and you will do great. Most of the questions on the quizes are on the exams. He gives alot of extra credit.. he just expects you to do the work and study. He is very nice, clear, and understanding. He tells you what you need to know. I highly recommend him!

Mr. Corbitt was a wonderful teacher. He is very helpful and easy to understand. YOU HAVE TO PUT IN THE EFFORT TO PASS THIS CLASS. If you pay attention and ask questions, you will have no trouble doing so. I highly recommend Mr. C! I wish he was teaching other subjects other than just BIO 131. I enjoyed this class!!!

Decent teacher BUT moody. One minute he could be happy teaching the class, the next he was snappy and mad! Taught the labs VERY well and offered some hints on the tests!! As long as you show up and do your work you should get a easy A.

By far one of the best teachers I've had at HFCC. He goes above and beyond. He fully prepares you for tests and quizzes so if you do bad (no excuse)he offers extra credit. Also gives out fill in the blank powerpoints (genius) so you can acually pay attention and not be writing all hour. Why cant all teachers do this? I highly recommended.

Excellent prof, really knows his Bio. There were very many immature students in my class which tried to make his job difficult, that's why he had mood swings. Any other prof would would have went insane. If you do not miss class and pay attention I don't see how you can't get a A. Thank You Mr. Corbitt!

A lot of people are saying that he is an easy teacher, however, I beg to differ! He gives out fill in the blank power point packets. This can be difficult because all you're doing is filling in and not really paying attention. You have to really study so that you do well on his tests. They are not easy. He's a a teacher though. He knows his stuff.

Great Teacher!!! I would rate him one of the best I've had at Henry Ford. He's loves teaching and knows alot about the subject he is teaching. First teacher Ive had who REALLY understands what its like to work full time and try to get an education! Once again WONDERFUL TEACHER!!!

Professor Corbitt made class enjoyable, if you are interested in the subject at study. Mainly self study- but his lectures lead right along with the book making it easier to comprehend after class. Envious of his knowledge and skill of teaching BIO. Great teacher and semester.

I don't prefer science classes but he makes it easy and you actually understand. He know what he is talking about. The labs are easy and lab exams. Study! His test are a little more difficult but if you study its not bad at all. I got a A. I would take him if he taught other classes as well.

At first he seemed cocky and rude but after a few classes I grew to like him. He is very easy. I had him for lab and he was sure to go over how to do everything and gave us extra credit. He left in the middle of the semester,I would still recommend taking him. He appreciates the well behaved students. He doesnt put up with bs from other students.

He was an amazing Professor! I only had him for lab and he ended up leaving in the middle of the semester; nonetheless I really enjoyed the labs and he was always helpful. Be respectful and he'll respect you. He doesn't put up with annoying students who try to talk over him. Overall great Professor! He is good looking too if I may add. :)

I loved Mr. Corbitt's class. I got a C because I missed a few classes and that was entirely my fault. He really knows his stuff but if your're lazy I wouldn't recommend this class. He will go off if you're rude or interrupt his class with your phone but overall I loved the class. I would take him again but study harder next time.

I took this class as a 17 year old high school student.. during the short summer semester, and I earned an A in the class. If I was able to do it, anyone can. He is very helpful and caring and will do his best to help you pass. If you're gonna take BIO-131, definitely TAKE IT WITH HIM!!!!

Loved this class. He makes things extremely interesting with his own take on a lot of subjects. Not very demanding at all, just do what he asks & NO SLEEPING OR TEXTING. All his tests are off of the slides he posts online, never opened the book. Very clear what he wants, you'll be successful. He has been my favorite teacher of all time. Take him!!

Mr. Corbitt is an amazing professor. Took his BIO131 class over the Spring '14 semester - even with the course being accelerated he made the material very easy to understand and retain! Hardly used the text book, all materials needed on moodlerooms. NO CELL PHONES! Goes above & beyond for his students - highly suggest taking his class for BIO131

Great teacher! Sometimes his tests included some odd questions. I suggest writing down the power points in your notes instead of just filling in the blanks. Helps a lot more! Pay attention and take good notes and you're guaranteed an A.

Really cares about students and really loves the subject! Had him for lab and he taught more than my lecture teacher did. As long as you do the labs and look over the write ups, you'll do good on quizzes. He usually told what was on them to us the day before. Wish I had him for lecture too!

His lectures make sense and he rewords everything to make it extremely clear and easy to remember. His labs are super easy and he's incredibly helpful. I had to retake BIO131 because my past professor was really tough and it was very hard for me to learn what I needed to. I retook this class with Corbitt and actually learned alot! He is one of the best teachers I have EVER HAD!!!! I definitely recommend this teacher for anyone to take. If you see his name pop up on webadvisor, TAKE HIM!! :D
