This class requires a lot, but Professor Gromlich did a great job of giving really clear instructions, a clear syllabus of deadlines, videos to walkthrough each week and would send whole class emails if a question came up multiple times. I went to one office hours where he walked me through what I was working on and gave really helpful feedback.

Dr. Gromlich was a decent teacher. Easy A if you complete all the work on time. He gave thoughtful feedback on each big assignment submitted. Walkthrough videos for each week of what to expect and how to complete the work. Would definitely take his class again.

Mr. Gromlich is a great instructor. I really learned a lot of valuable information that I can use to improve my practice and my school. He is very thorough in his explanation of information and expectations for work completion. He is also available when you need him and he gives timely feedback. I would definitely take another one of his classes.

Dr. Gromlich has built a course that really maximizes the delivery of an exclusively online class. He gives great previews of upcoming work and embedded tutorials. Everything builds on itself, so your final project is a true synthesis task. My only con is his makeup work policy because life happens, but his course was high-quality. I do recommend.

Dr. G. is genuinely a "teacher's teacher". He is approachable and accessible without sacrificing high expectations in his students. His feedback and encouragement is individualized, providing student-specific questions in a non-threatening manner. He is an asset to LSUS and to the education community of learners/practioners.

The book was dense, but that's not him....it was just the book. It was needed and helpful. I would def take his classes again!

ED 789 was a great class and was set up to give us a real-world scenario and work through it like you actually would in a school district. He had us work in groups to perform the tasks we needed to do. This was the first class I really got to know anyone in my classes and I really appreciated and enjoyed that!!

He is very well prepared and he guides you through the course week to week. I never felt lost or that I didn't understand his expectations.

I loved the way Dr. Gromlich structured this course! Every weekly assignment builds up to the final project so literally all you have to do is copy and paste your past assignments onto the final. I never felt stressed taking this course, and Dr. Gromlich was always super helpful and quick to respond to emails!

Professor Gromlich's class has been one of the most beneficial classes I have taken in my graduate program. You will learn how to use some really cool technologies that will significantly improve your teaching. Assignments are creative and I much preferred them to writing papers. Clear instructions and not too difficult. Pick this class, trust me!

Professor Gromlich was very easy to work with and provided good explanations and instructions for every assignment. If you're in the program you know how difficult building a course can be especially at the pace we are going. He did a good job with this initial course offering and I am sure it will get even better with time.

I have taken two courses with Matthew Gromlich both of which were online. The courses were easy to follow, expectations were clear, and were presented in a logical and progressive way. The objectives of the course were met without an overabundance of unnecessary work. He was also quick to respond to emails and give helpful feedback.

I think Professor Gromlich is one of the better professors I've had in an online format. He has devoted time to making the class as beneficial as possible. He managed to create a real presence in the classroom, and I loved it. I think many a professor could learn from him.

This instructor was available to answer questions via email and also took time to make instruction videos that were useful. The quick intro to the week helped to map out the assignments and expectations. The instructor was also willing to work with students to make the assignments relevant to what they were teaching, per my classmate.

ED681 was a great class. The material is hands on and real world applicable. His lectures and videos explain everything he requires very clearly and step by step. I took this class with very little knowledge about the material and ended with a good grasp on how to use the topics in my teaching career. Highly recommend. My favorite class so far.

Matthew Gromlich walks you slowly through using digital tools to create modules for online learning. He does so by creating short, simple 'how to' videos that are easy to follow.

Professor G is an amazing teacher he is so technology savvy that he can show you how to do things just with you sharing you screen. I have taken two of his classes and both times he was amazing.

ED780 was very well organized. Each week, you will have a discussion post, a project, and a reflection. The readings and resources are all relevant to the week's project. Most projects are submitted on a Google Site that you will create during Module 1. The expectations are clearly laid out in a rubric each week.

This course was very well designed and implemented. It was great to really learn by doing what I was being taught. A very helpful and thorough course.

Professor Gromlich is hands down the best professor I've ever had! He genuinely cares about their students' success and goes above and beyond to ensure we understand the material. The course materials are well-organized and relevant, and the explanation videos are beneficial for understanding complex concepts.

Matthew Gromlich was one of the most informed and well-spoken professors that I have had so far. He included practical use of materials and expectations that fit each specific student within the class to create meaningful conversations and projects.

Matt is straightforward and direct when explaining the parameters of an assignment. When there is confusion, he makes it a point to address it before moving on to the next module. There are even instances where he will let you resubmit an assignment. The last one is usually writing-heavy, which can become a bit much if you procrastinate.

Professor Gromlich is very thorough, organized and knowledgeable. Weekly expectations were made clear and the workload was not overwhelming.

Professor Gromlich is amazing!

Before this class I was not very tech savvy. Because I am a visual learner, I enjoyed his use of videos to preface each module's new learning and expectations. I now have a growing love for implementing technology as a professional and in my personal networks.

Professor Gromlich was great - the video guides and prompt grading really helped. While the assignments were straightforward, Unstuck study was a handy study tool on top of the textbook. Would definitely take this class again.

Professor Gromlich sets crystal clear expectations for every assignment and essentially walks you through each assignment for the week via his "walk through" videos which are very helpful. You won't have to give up your life in exchange for taking a class with Professor Gromlich and you'll walk away with a lot of practical experience. 10/10 class.

The professor planned the class so that all assignments lead to the final project. He gave clear guidelines for all assignments and feedback when he felt you could do better. Dr. Gromlich posted assignments that were clear, very structured, and easy to understand. I really enjoyed his weekly walkthrough videos that explained in great detail the assignments and expectations for each week. More professors should use weekly walk through videos. Overall, Dr. Gromlich was great and will definitely recommend to others.

I thought the class was great! He was always clear with expectations on assignments. Zooms weren't mandatory. He was easy to get in touch with via email. Overall I learn a lot throughout the course for if I ever need to use Canvas throughout my professional life.

Dr Gromlich's online class ED 785 was incredible and very user-friendly. It was informative and I will definitely be taking what I learned into my role of leadership. He explains every assignment through a recorded video, but is readily available via email for any clarifications and/or concerns.

There are clear assignments for each week you are in this class. Requires you to think, but nothing that is impossible. I wouldn't say "easy" as this is a graduate level class, but completely manageable if you wanted to stack this course with another at the same time in my opinion (and still work/ manage family).

Professor Gromlich is very structured and provides meaningful assignments. I am able to use all technology that I learned from his class.. The textbook is a great read and I would suggest it to anyone seeking a leadership position in this day and age. I would definately take another class with Professor Gromlich and highly recommend his class.

Not a dull class, the assignments are creative, well-blended, and mirror the learning styles of the LSUS (EDA 605 course). Classroom participation is incorporated through discussions and student-led chapter reviews. Dr. G's class is a must; you will not be disappointed.

Since this class was 100% online, the class was very tech. savvy. All assignments were gone over in detail during the weekly videos he would attach to the module. I prefer multiple assignments that allow reflection on different topics rather than writing a single 10/15 pg. paper.
