he is such an amazing prof! he grades really true to your work and if you mess up he lets you redo and resubmit.hes really funny too constatly making fun of himself, he makes it easy to open up and talk about the stories and poems. attendence is necessary but since hes such a good prof its not hard. highly reccomended

Took World Lit After Ren. Would take him for ANY class he offered! He is an amazing communicator. He always emailed me back right away. His assignments are straightforward not too time consuming. Exam reviews have the test questions so no surprises. If you read the stories (i thought they were all very interesting) and participate you will pass!

I adore this professor! He makes english as painless as possible. You write papers based on your interest (your major) and there are assignments in between to show you what each paper should have on it. I LOVE KLAUZA, took him for both ENC 1101 and 1102, he is AMAZING. Gives you about 4 essays for the term NO FINAL EXAM. He gives you about 3wks to write each essay and to hand it in, if you need more time to write your essay, he'll give you an extension, he wants all of his students to do well HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM, TAKE HIM & YOU'LL GET AN EASY "A"

Best teacher I've had so far. I have taken his ENC1101,1102, and his world LIT classes passing with all A's. As long as you complete all the work and listen to what he wants you cannot fail! His classes are always amusing!

He's the only English teacher that was able to teach me how to write an analysis essay. I had been taught many times but never understood it before him. And many people here comment that he's a hard grader but I got 100% on 3 out of 4 essays, and the one I didn't get 100 on was because I forgot to write a title. (1point deduction. That's it)

He's an amazing teacher! Doesn't bother you with unnecessary busy work and is always there if you have a question. Class usually got out about 45 minutes early but you could stay and talk with him if you felt you needed to. Passed the class with an A, EASILY. i highly recommend him!

Before class he sent an email saying if your not willing to work then withdraw, I was a little hesitant about going to his class but I'm so glad I did. If anyone can teach such a boring subject like American Lit Dr. Klauza can. Expect to write a page a class for homework but get over it, your in college.

For all you dual enrollment students looking at some of these reviews and wondering how good of a teache Mr. Klauza is, well I'll set it straight. Being brutally honest his class was so easy an 8th grader could get an A, BUT I got so much better at writing it's crazy. I got a 102% in his class just to let you know.

I absolutely loved Professor Klauza he's very helpful and is very clear about everything. I had his 8 week class and I must say there was homework every night so I wouldn't recommend this class for someone who just doesn't have the time. But overall he's great I'd recommend him to anyone.

Easy A as long as you do the work. He is very clear about what he expects and how he grades. He's not a strict grader, he just looks to see if you the right pieces in the right place. Dr. Klauza goes offtopic sometimes, but it makes the class so much more relatable. his teaching style is awesome and no answer is wrong in his book. reading is a must, but he doesn't give a whole book to read, maybe a page or two. so easy if you just do the work! textbook is mandatory! attendance is mandatory, drops a grade if miss 3 days.

Dr. Klauza is awesome! As long as you show up to class, and have read the reading he's assigned, you'll be fine. He likes to throw you into groups, which makes for easier way to pass the class-time. He's super easy-going, and is really understanding when you have an extenuating circumstance and can't make it to class-don't be afraid to communicate.

Klauza is my life! His jokes are corny, but still hilarious. I truly loved this class. His explanations make the readings so interesting and thought-worthy! Also, you're never wrong! On the daily homework responses, as long as you did them correct, your opinion and interpretations are always right! So helpful and easy to talk to, a wonderful man.

Very funny and nice teacher, enjoyed his class. Makes it easier to write essays by breaking it down in sections. If you get a low grade on the essay he will give it back to you and make you correct your mistakes to get a higher grade. Do the homework on time, its due before class and he will not except late work.

Dr. K was the coolest & best professor I ever had. He gives really easy homework assignments that maybe take 5-10 min. The other grades were 3 papers. He is available to help if you are struggling. If you have the opportunity to take him, do it! You wont regret it.

His explanations are really detailed, he explains what's due all the time, but it doesnt hurt to check your calendar. He wants the essay done in class by handwritting, not typing. 4 essays and extra credit. Also lets you correct your essay for more points. His class is never boring. Make sure your whole class gets on his good side!

Dr. Klauza is quite possibly the best Lit professor at PBSC. He cares about the material, engages students during lectures, and really enjoys connecting with students through the reading and modernizes it to make sure it's relatable. He lets you use either textbook (old or new) so you can save money. TAKE NOTES! His lectures aren't purely for fun!

Great and funny teacher. He goes through step by step of how to do all the criteria you will be graded on for the three essays he assigns. I finally learned how to write a proper thesis thanks to Klauza! He also is avaliable often after class and gives extra credit. Only meh part of his class is that all essays have to be written by hand in class.

I enjoyed the class. He taught step by step how to write a perfect essay and every time I go back to my notes to write one, I either get a B or a A paper. Good for reading and writing classes.

Klauza is awesome! He is so funny and makes class enjoyable. There are only around 3 or 4 essays which are straight forward and simple. The outlines are time consuming, but they help so much with completing your essays. There are a few quizzes, but they are easy! This is NOT a hard class! I got an A with no stressing whatsoever!

He truly wants you to succeed and takes extra time and care to make sure he understands your strengths and weaknesses. He will spend as much time as necessary teaching you personally

I enjoyed his class, I just didn't enjoy the group work, I want to sit in my seat and not talk to other people I don't know. Although the work was interactive because it is all up for interpretation I enjoyed class discussions more than group work that wasn't as effective, especially with people I didn't know. Short homework assignments ever class.

There aren't enough positive tags to describe Dr. Klauza. He genuinely cares about his students and is by far the best professor I have taken at Palm Beach State College. His stories are hilarious. There were a lot of readings that were pretty simple. The coronavirus cut our class short so that was pretty upsetting. One love, Klauza!

If you have a chance to take his class, take it and don't even second guess yourself! He's such a great professor! His assignments are very interestinf and Easy so far! Just beware and do not, I repeat I do not plagiarize! He's very friendly and is willing to help you out atany time of the day, but if you copy anything, he will fail you right away.

i would take professor klauza again in a heart beat there was some grammar based homework at the begining of the course with a quiz to sum it all up but both were super easy only 3 essays, u do an outline for each one that helps a lot plus klauza is really nice and always cracking joke and if ur lucky his cat will walk across the screen (:

He responds SO fast and is extremely nice. His tutor for the class is Suzan and she is AMAZING!! Make appointment with her before submitting any essay!

Klauza's online class was very well organized and clear on what was needed in order to pass. If you read and answer everything with your own thoughts you will not have a problem passing this class. The concepts in the class aren't hard most of the time but he will help you with any questions you may have. Very straightforward class.

The other reviews are funny here. Yes, he DOES make you integrate your quotes but he gives you a lesson on them, a video, samples, and even will meet you in office hours to review it with you. So those people complaining about this clearly didn't read the directions or ask for help. It's not hard, people. Just read the directions. Great teacher

Most important thing to know is to do all your work, no matter what. There are 2 major/important assignments, and there are both papers. Turn in all of your assignments, even if it's late. Dr. Klauza is an understanding person, but don't take advantage of him or the class, especially if it's a pre-req. The class is easy!

I met Prof. Klauza 9 years ago, and we were both experiencing major family issues. His constructive criticism, , advice, and tips gave me so much motivation and inspiration to continue getting my degree and not give up. Today, I write tons of poetry, have 2 books, write short stories, and much much more. I hope he sees this or gets the message.

He was AMAZING. He is very thorough, kind, intelligent, and worked hard to be here so he is understanding. He can be tough on grading but if you follow the SIMPLE directions you will have no problems. There is barely any work, essays are WELL spread out and we go through multiple steps working up to the essay so you understand how to write it. 100!

This class was HARD! I took him because his reviews were amazing but after the first few weeks I was ready to drop it. If you take him and you get confused email him! Unlike many professor he seems to really want to help but you have to work for it. If you are only taking this course for the "easy" credit find another professor, it is not easy.

Dr. Klauza grades all the assignments and discussion posts toughly. Quizzes and the final test are based on the study guide he has you fill out from the lessons and are fairly easy. There's a project and essay that, as long as you heed his warnings to allocate time, aren't too bad.

Prof Klauza is honestly not too bad if you know what you are doing and submit your work. He offers many resources to help with your writing and citation and gives good feedback. I honestly loved Matthew and his class! He's very chill, considerate and open to suggestions and your thoughts (he loves when you participate). There are readings and writing assignments once a week, but they're pretty easy. 1 project and 4 quizzes, their easy as well. Overall, I'd take him again and again if I could. I recommend him to everyone!

Willing to lend a helping hand, and if you are not satisfied with the grade you got on Mindtap, he is willing to erase the previous grade and allow you to attempt it again. Very nice and has humor. It was kind of an easy class, but you also have to try and be prepared for the wirtings in order to get a good grade. Helps out and always stayed after class for any questions and loves to help. The final was a bit hard but nothign to really worry about.

Really easy class! All the writing are done in class which made me nervous at first but don't be. He has a specific prompt/layout you have to follow when writing and it helps so much. He always gives feedback on writing and helps in every way he can. He's also so funny and a welcoming guy so it makes class way better!!
