Great professor, uses a lot of real world tools like asana and tries to incorporate them into the old, outdated curriculum. That is very much appreciated!

Matthew is a nice instructor with a good sense of humor. He is kinda easy going with the students but when it comes to important lectures and the clients, be prepared. The deadlines are negotiable, as long as you are serious. He tries to bring in real clients and I really appreciate it cause it's a really good opportunity for the students

He is like the fun uncle at a party that is great to be around but gets distracted easily. His lectures are vague to the actual tests but they are enjoyable to listen to (Get ready to learn a lot about bikes, trucks, and Apple). Most of the testable stuff is from the textbook and a bit from the online resources. He gives partial marks, just write.

If you take his class and don't participate, you won't do well. Yet, his activities and lectures are really good. I really enjoyed taking his class - he's more unstructured than others and gets you to think on your own.

One of the easiest prof I got. He would move tests date if you let know that you have another test on the same day and extend assignment dates when you ask with no penalty.

I took Matt's MARK3340 class the summer of 2022. It was a good class as i learned a lot about drip campaigns that I can use with my own business. I had an amazing time with the group project and created long lasting friendships. I am not sure why theres a few bad reviews. just show up and talk with the class and FOCUS!! youll do great.

I can't say that for other professors. Don't believe the other reviews that are negative - most likely these students failed for not attending class.

Matt was one of the best instructors I came across at Douglas. I have taken 4 courses with him. He tries to explain the course concepts by giving you real-life examples with a hint of jokes in the middle. He has a clear grading criteria and his exams are easy as well. Highly recommend him.
