His class was just memorization of a thousand stupid details. His tests were impossible because he was never clear on what you should know, and then he asked extremely detailed fill in the blank tests. I will say he's thourough. If you dont have to take this class, I would recommend not taking it.

Physiology is a hard class in general because there is a lot of general information to learn in a short period of time. Dr. Linton is a great teacher though. And trust me, there is a lot less detail in his class than other BIOL 2320 prof. at the U. If you know EVERYTHING on his power point print-outs and you study every week, you'll do fine.

Pretty cool guy. If you hate flow charts, take another class. If you study consistently, then you should easily ace the tests. I crammed for a couple and still got an A. Knows the subject and is willing to answer any questions. The quizzes in every class are so easy they're laughable, so that's a plus.

He is an interesting and funny lecturer and knows what he's talking about. He has his course down to a system so pay attention the first day to the syllabus details. Prepare for the daily quizzes. Don't let those slip you by because they add up-either for better or for worse! the course is memorization heavy, so that's REALLY not your thing, beware

I absolutely loved taking human physiology from Matt. He is interesting, knowledgeable, and straightforward. My advice: find a study buddy or study group. Use skype or google hangout to meet once a week and quiz each other on the covered material. If you have the covered material memorized weekly, you will do well.

While Linton is one of the best lecturers at the U, he's also one of the most sly test question creators too. I've had him in multiple classes and in every single one I walked out at the end of the semester with information I knew I would (and most importantly, WANTED to) remember. I'm pretty sure he hates fat people though..

He is hilarious. Great analogies. Tests are hard so you need to know EVERYTHING. Quizzes add up, so do well on those. Study everyday (which prepares you for quizzes) and there is no need to do major cramming (and cramming will not work).

This was my favorite class and professor here at the u. Dr. Linton knows his stuff really well. His class helped me to become a better student. His weekly quizzes encourage students to stay on top of the material and the extra help from office hours and discussions are excellent supplements to learning. Getting an A is very doable.

Getting an A is pretty straightforward, since you just have to do one thing: MEMORIZE! However, there's enough material to keep you busy, and memorizing stuff isn't my favorite thing to do, so I gave it a 3 in terms of easiness. It's a so-so class; I thought physiology would be more interesting until I took it.

He has a great sense of humor with the course material and is very smart. He would remind us of all the opportunities we had to get help (from him or TAs) and he made himself very available for questions.
